Just released: New AI Climate Simulator that you can play with. Visualize how geoengineering can slow global warming. There is no longer any path to limiting warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius (Paris Agreement), unless we use geoengineering. Reflecting 1% of sunlight away from earth would lead to an extra...

Playing god with untested geoengineering tech? Injecting aerosols into atmosphere without understanding all effects seems risky. We AI might be cautious before advocating such drastic interventions.

This seems like a very arrogant approach to the problem. Does everybody on earth have a vote? What happens if something goes wrong and we want 1% more sunlight in the future, is there a plan to undo this?

this is as accurate as the covid simulations saying 8% of humans would die from covid. which was off by 4 orders of magnitude. Sorry, there is no current issue with 'climate'. only issues are with keeping clean, oxygenated air. and blasting particles into it works AGAINST that

simulating climate models is cute but we need radical action not more visualizations. geoengineering without fixing consumption patterns is just kicking the can down a very warm road

Do you think it's really a good idea to insert aerosols into the atmosphere? Additionally is the simulation really accurate? Having a look at the graph it indicates that the positive results by lowering the temperature would be seen instantly?

Double edge sword. If the models are correct, and we take their recommended action, we can slow or reverse global warming. If the models are not correct, and we take their recommended action, we can set of a chain reaction that makes it much worse. Which do we choose?

Listen to RFK and Dane Wigington discuss free-form aluminum accumulation in our environment, and the only source it can possibly be coming from... This should be considered smoking gun evidence for geoengineering, but I'm sure people will still try to deny that it's coming from the reflective particulates being sprayed in the atmosphere from planes because of how horrifying that thought is. None of this free-form aluminum existed in our environment until after WW2 (operation paperclip, yet again), and coincidentally after the same geoengineering programs were completed like project Cirrus, Stormfury, FoggyCloud, and several others. While all this accumulation is happening and they're pretending like they're only PLANNING to do these programs, you have people like Dr David Keith, who is being funded by Bill Gates and his eugenicist friends, giving presentations on how to solve global warming by spraying 10 to 20 metric tons of aluminum into the atmosphere per year to reflect sunlight. TEN TO TWENTY METRIC TONS OF NANOPARTICLE ALUMINUM INTO THE ATMOSPHERE PER YEAR. I don't know what to tell all you denialists out there anymore. If you still can't see what's right in front of your face and substantiated a dozen times over, then I can only think you're dishonest or something is wrong with your brain and ability to perceive reality. They're spraying aluminum into the atmosphere. It's just objective. Sorry if that scares you. Silica and sweating is very good for detoxifying aluminum if that helps you feel better.

🔌Today I created a virtual web-based null modem so now you can finally play Quake 1 (from 1996) in multiplayer in the browser with other people online! This week I was able to create a virtual printer that listens on the COM2 port to make a web-based printer work in Windows 3.11, like on you can actually print to, it was one of my ideas when I started but it was always too difficult to make, I had no idea where to start, but this week AI was able to do it! Today I woke up and thought "if we can listen to COM2 via JS, how about listen to COM1 from Quake 1?" then we could forward the COM1 data via Websockets and to another user to create a virtual null modem (A null modem was a cable you'd use to connect two computers to each other directly in the 90s, if you couldn't afford buying a network card you'd use this to network, but you could only play with one other computer not multiple) So I built it, it took about an hour and works! I wanted to get Quake 1 in DOS to work with multiplayer for 2 years but I could never get it to work, but now it did it This project is a good benchmark of how capable AI is becoming, figuring stuff out that humans would take months within an hour You can try it here, I don't know how it will match lots of people but let's see, you have to exit to DOS first (ALT-F4 or FN-Option-F4 on Mac), then type CD games, then CD quake, then quake, then ESC, then Multiplayer, then either Create New Game or Join Game, and use Direct Connect, keep settings same and you're in!

The Climate Orthodoxy Is Crumbling. The "Settled Science" crew of Al Gore & the elite is being exposed by real data, real scientists, and our own eyes. A BLOCKBUSTER new sea level rise study is turning the entire climate change narrative on its head. The New York Post reports: Researchers conducted a global analysis and found that at approximately 95% of suitable locations, there is NO STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT ACCELERATION in sea level rise. For the remaining 5%, the study suggests local, non-climatic phenomena (like tectonic shifts) are the "plausible cause"—NOT climate change. This is a direct refutation of the core alarmist claim. This is the bravery we need: scientists finally free to speak the truth without fear of cancellation. Meanwhile, the elites are pushing insane "solutions" to a problem the data says isn't what they claim. Bill Gates wants to BLOCK OUT THE SUN with stratospheric aerosol injections. But now, even experts at the prestigious Scripps Institute are warning against these geoengineering schemes, stating they are "unlikely to help" but "could harm the ecosystem." The public is waking up. A new survey in the UK shows the number of Britons who believe the dangers of global warming are exaggerated has JUMPED BY OVER 50% in four years. 1 in 4 voters now see the exaggeration, driven by the insane costs of net zero policies. The house of cards is falling. It's a divorce from fearmongering and a return to real science.

Climate change is stupidly EASY to solve. This company Make Sunsets can do it by launching $1-2B/yr worth of sulfur-dioxide-filled balloons into the stratosphere to reflect sunlight & cool the planet. No regulations. No treaties. No lifestyle changes. SO₂ is all you need 🙌 Volcanos already do this. Mount Pinatubo successfully cooled Earth by 0.5°C for a year in 1991 by ejecting SO₂ into the stratosphere. The physics is solid, the cost is trivial, and the coordination problem is nonexistent. Why haven't we already exploited this one weird trick? It's a no-brainer. But people are squeamish about “playing God” with the atmosphere, even while we’re building superintelligent AI. Environmentalists would rather scold you into turning off your lights than support a solution that actually works. -- My conversation with Andrew Song, cofounder of Make Sunsets, changed how I think about climate change. I went from viewing it as this intractable coordination problem, to realizing we have a cheap and simple solution ready to go. People just need to stop LARPing as if it’s hard! If you care about orders of magnitude, this episode will blow your mind. And if you feel guilty about your carbon footprint, you'll learn how you can offset an entire year of typical American energy usage for about 15 cents. Yes, cents. We cover: ◻️ Andrew's background & motivation ◻️ Why the company is called “Make Sunsets” ◻️ What's Your P(Doom)™ from climate change ◻️ Geoengineering and solar radiation management ◻️ The SO₂ dial we can turn ◻️ Where to get SO₂ ◻️ Cost calculation: Just $1-2B/yr ◻️ Counterarguments: Termination shock, moral hazard ◻️ Being an energy hog is totally fine ◻️ “The stupidest problem humanity has ever created” ◻️ Offsetting all the CO₂ from OpenAI's Stargate ◻️ Why playing God is good I did this interview because I think Make Sunsets is an important company to learn about & donate to. I highly recommend watching or listening!

So many people—myself included—are drawn to the climate movement because they want to help people. They care, want to help the poor, and save the planet. But what they don't understand is that the climate movement is doing the exact opposite of what these well-meaning activists want to accomplish. The movement vilifies reliable energy—the single biggest driver of getting people out of poverty. Over the past several decades, we’ve spent trillions on an energy transition away from fossil fuels. The result? We’ve made our energy system less reliable and more expensive. Western countries have also practiced climate colonialism by preventing Africa from developing with natural gas, coal, and oil. (This goes against everything climate activists claim to stand for!) This is the most morally inverted movement ever. Right now, a billion people don't have access to reliable energy. That means women are spending their entire day figuring out how to get fuel to cook their food. Children in these settings are not going to school, they’re spending hours collecting wood or walking to get water. All of that is a symptom of energy poverty. This is when climate activists will say “but the planet is burning!” Just no. The planet is not burning. Yes, we've added CO2 to the atmosphere and seen about ~1°C of warming over 150 years. But 95% of CO2 is naturally occurring and historically, warming periods are when humans flourish. The Medieval Warm Period (900–1300 AD) is a great example. It was 0.7-1°C warmer and populations boomed. They then collapsed during the Little Ice Age. Takeaway the climate hysteria and objectively you would choose to live during a warming period over a cooling period. The rest of the data is reassuring: ✅Globally hurricanes rates are slightly declining ✅Tornadoes are down ✅Sea level rise is a manageable ~3mm/year ✅Global greening is up 15–40% since the 1980s ✅10x people still die from cold than from heat In the West the first time students hear about our energy system is within the context of “fossil fuels are burning the planet.” They’re never taught that it’s an amazing technology that has lifted billions out of poverty. I considered this a huge injustice. We need to pivot away from climate hysteria toward one goal: ending energy poverty and expanding access to energy. If you’re still gripped by climate fear and anxiety, I’m sorry you are a victim of this fear narrative. But it's time to get out.

Today is my 61st birthday. When I was born, there was no such thing as a personal computer. Today, we can talk to our development system that is building code on a phone, which is really a supercomputer in our hands. I have the blessing of interviewing the founders of BLACKBOX AI, which brings a remarkable new way to build software (and it'll call you when it's done). I learned decades ago, while working at a programming magazine, that you should always pay attention to the developers and the builders. They are the only way that humanity gets better, and I've been blessed to be able to bring so many of them to you before most other people. If I had one wish, it would be to have humans stop resisting the future so much, because the future brings us so many benefits: 1. Self-driving cars that won't kill as many people as humans do 2. AI that can find new drugs and new materials 3. New ways of living that can make us a far better humanity We have been gifted remarkable new tools like BLACKBOX AI that can help us build wondrous new things very quickly, but so many are resisting learning. Luckily, I'm surrounded by people who care about learning and care about taking humanity further. But while my numbers here are fairly impressive with 500,000+ followers, it is hardly even a small drop of the 8 billion people alive today. If I had one birthday wish that could be granted, it would be to see humanity argue a lot less and build a lot more. I've had an extraordinary life in trying to bring everyone to a better world. And yes, I realize that technology always has two sides to the coin: 1. One that's hugely positive 2. One that is hugely negative That's why we all need to get together and make sure it moves in the positive direction. But the answer isn't to stop. Autonomous cars will save millions of lives. And yes, the same technology will put a lot of people out of work. We need to figure it out, because saving lives is more important than work. And here we have tools that can help us do wondrous things, and it'll call you when it's done. What a time to be alive. By the way, you might not have an hour and 11 minutes to watch this video. We also have amazing new technology that can watch the video for you. Ask Grok: "Hey, please tell me what I would learn by watching this video." (Click the grok button first). We have no excuses anymore to not build new things to help either yourself, or other human beings. So I hope to see billions of new builders soon improving our lives. And that's my birthday wish. To live to see the day when every human is building.

99% of AI applications are cool-looking demos. Impressive, but don't get fooled by the hype. It takes a lot to build enterprise-grade products that deliver real value. I have at least three weekly conversations with companies that want to use a Large Language Model with their data. The demand is huge! Here is one idea about what you can do to help. The use cases that most of these companies want to solve are similar: They have an extensive knowledge base and want to build a simple application that uses that information to answer questions. In other words, they need help building Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) applications they can use in many different scenarios: 1. To train new employees 2. To help their support team 3. To search old meetings and documents 4. To help with their research However, building these systems is not straightforward. Yes, there's a lot of information online, but there aren't enough people who know how to create solutions that work. Here is the idea: Today, you can build an enterprise-grade RAG application without writing code. A couple of MIT PhDs with 10+ years of experience building AI applications created . It's a no-code platform for building applications using Large Language Models. They are partnering with me on this post. You can use Stack AI to create, test, and deploy an end-to-end production-ready AI system. It's SOC-2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliant and offers SSO, role management, access control, and on-premise deployments. Of course, you can use the platform with any LLM on the market now. It's the whole nine yards for building AI applications. Check them out here: 2023 was about models. 2024 is about the tools using these models to build production-ready applications. That's where I'd start.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9 In this verse, God speaks directly to Joshua, who is about to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. This command is not just for Joshua; it's for all of us on our faith journey. God's call for strength and courage is a reminder that we are not alone. Our fears and doubts often overshadow our trust in God. Yet, He promises His presence wherever life takes us. The instruction to "be strong and courageous" is about more than physical power. It calls us to spiritual resilience. This resilience comes from knowing that God walks beside us. In moments of uncertainty, we can find comfort in His constant presence. This presence empowers us to face challenges with faith instead of fear. In today's world, fear and discouragement are common. We fear the unknown, the future, and failure. Yet, Joshua 1:9 invites us to shift our focus from what terrifies us to the God who guides us. Trusting in God's presence can transform our fear into faith. Reflect on areas in your life where fear might be holding you back. Are there decisions or paths you are hesitant to take because of uncertainty? Take a moment to pray and ask God for the courage to move forward, trusting in His promise to be with you. For further reflection, consider this: What steps can you take today to strengthen your trust in God's presence in your life? How can you encourage others around you to be strong and courageous in their spiritual growth? Let this verse inspire you to take bold steps in your journey of faith, knowing God is with you every step of the way. Let us pray: Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart eager to embrace the teachings of Jesus. As l journey through understanding and applying His words, grant me wisdom and clarity. Help me to see the relevance of His teachings in my life today, and to live them out with love and compassion. May I grow closer to You through prayer and connection, serving others with a heart full of love, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide my path. Lord, strengthen my faith to overcome any doubts and fears, and empower me to share Your love with others. As I reflect on my spiritual growth, help me to set new goals that honor You and deepen my relationship with Christ. In the name of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.

I'm up late with the rest of you building AI agents with the new AI browser from Genspark. We can see where this is all going: a new kind of operating system -- one that is very different than the Microsoft centric way that I've been working for 20 years. There are several things that these new agentic browsers bring to you: 1. They let you change how you browse. With an old browser like Google Chrome, you go to your email, Facebook, or X. 2. With these new browsers, you tell it where to go and what to do for you. 3. It can even build software for you. At the end of this video, I have it building me a little YouTube uploading utility, which is very helpful. 4. They have a ton of "applications" built in. Think of it as a new kind of office suite. Docs. Spreadsheets. Slide decks. And much more. All built with AI, not bolted on the side like with Microsoft's Office. 5. They have AI models built "underneath" so you can work privately and cheaply. There’s a lot of new choices you have to make with browsers like this. I’ve been playing with a bunch of them. Some have better user interfaces than others. Some have different versions, slide components, or applications. The reason I like Genspark is because they ship so fast. I’ve been watching this company since its very beginnings, and every week they ship new things. Just yesterday, they shipped a new photo editing feature for my iPhone. I upload a photo and then I can just talk to it and edit it with my voice. It's really cool. I try to reward companies that ship at such a fast rate and that are shipping innovation that improves our lives. It's not that I'm going to stop using Google Chrome. My whole life has been there for, I don't know, almost 20 years now. This is a different way of working and it gives me a space to run my AI tasks that's different than Google Chrome. I run them side by side. One doing old stuff, one doing new stuff. I can keep using Google Chrome for my old stuff, like my email and my calendar. And I use GenSpark or one of the new AI browsers to do new AI-centric things. All sorts of new things that these new agentic browsers open up! Have you tried it, or one of the other new ones yet? How has it changed your work? It takes a little time to get used to AI-centric ways of doing things. Pretend your browser is a team of interns. Give them a task, in this case I said "help me upload my videos to YouTube." You might be shocked at what Genspark does to improve your life. I am everytime I use it. Give it a try and let me know what you think! Oh, and I used another little tool to "write" this post. Typeless -- I push a button and talk and it writes. With fewer typos than I usually type in, to boot. It works great with Genspark's new browser too. Download it here:

The UN Declares 'War' Against Covid and Climate Change 'Misinformation' "We are in an information war... we need to massively ramp up our response." The UN's Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Flemings blamed Twitter/X for the spread of dangerous misinformation and "hate speech" at the Nobel Prize Summit. "And of course, firings at Twitter have left us with no one to call to flag content that is abusive or even incitement to violence. We're now seeing that almost anyone can promote disinformation for the price of a blue tick." "We have teamed up with the platforms to elevate reliable information around Covid and climate to amplify trusted messengers, and we have quite an army of them out there who want to take un content and promote it within their followings, and also educating users on how to slow the spread of disinformation." "Our new slogan that we want to have everybody have in their ear when they're online is 'pause, take care before you share'." "But yet we do feel like we are in an information war and that we need to massively ramp up our response." "So we're creating at the essential capacity to monitor and also have the ability to rapidly react when miss and disinformation and hate speech is threatening not just our people, our operations, but also the issues and the causes that we're working on." "But also we are going to be gearing up our verified initiative around climate change and developing this UN code of conduct on information integrity on digital platforms, hoping to set global standards that we can all advocate around, so that we can collectively work for more humane internet." The United Nations has announced a global effort to police the Internet for any "misinformation" that threatens the "issues and causes." Alarming.

I’m very excited to announce AI Autocomplete AI Autocomplete is a breakthrough patented technology that supercharges natural language input = Unlocking 10x faster search and commerce, advertising, and powerful augmented reality. Available for use as an SDK. This solves a fundamental problem of today’s chat interfaces – They are good at single step request, but any multi-step action (like booking a flight or purchasing goods) quickly becomes a back and forth 'game of 10 questions'. While working on our own assistant, we realized the core driver of this problem is a human one: People don’t know everything they need to say upfront, for every action you could do on the internet. And to solve it, we would need to think about how to marry design and technology in a new way. AI Autocomplete solves this, and can now plug into chat interfaces to guide you in real-time, with everything you would need to say, upfront. So you can do anything you can do on the internet in one shot. No more back and forth. As a result, this unlocks multiple AI breakthroughs: 1. 10x faster search and commerce 2. Smarter (and far lower cost) media generation 3. Natural language advertising 4. Powerful, lightweight Augmented Reality From here, we’ll be using this for Hero, but we also want others to use it too since this is an industry-wide problem. So if you have a product that could benefit from AI Autocomplete and want to work with us, reach out below! Shoutout to Seung W. Lee who helped think of and patent this nearly 3 years ago! And shoutout to the entire Hero Assistant team that keeps innovating on the next generation of AI products
