I saw 4 ravens playing with a cat. The cat was lying in the middle of my lawn. The ravens took turns dropping a stone as close to the cat as they dared.

Brilliant. What a wonderful relationship you have with these magnificent birds.🫡 Is the groomed larger one the male?

I have always presumed so. It’s the one that talks to me the most ( the one I call chips) and comes the most. However during my reading it says the dominant female often makes the clacking sound so I really don’t know. So much I don’t know about them!

Am I allowed to say that, in my experience, the female of the species usually have more to say? Perhaps just in this house then😂😂

They are incredible. One befriended me when I was a kid. We traded bottle caps and stuff all the time. His kin still come around and drop off stuff.. Anybody missing their car keys? Lol

Think that my experience with the Ravens today shows that there is an element of companionship in our relationship. They’ve followed me on my walk often ignoring food, hoping behind me & when I sit they relax, groom together & talk to me. I am never going to get home! #ravens

I am truly blessed! Just now I sat on the water trough & scattered some suet & sat & relaxed. Couldn’t believe it when both Ravens jumped on the trough with me & had a drink! Then Chips fed Gravy just a few feet away from me. Has to be one of the best experiences of my life 😊

I think we can safely say that the Ravens are breeding 😁 I was just sat quietly with them when they started grooming and then they did this. A bit of a long video and I cut off the bit where they mated as I wasn’t sure about posting it!

Today is the 2 year anniversary of when I met the Ravens. They just checked me out from a distance then! Here is some of my fav footage:them courting, feeding each other, barrel rolling, some of their vocalisations. They are the most amazing birds and I am so lucky to have them!

Despite being privileged that the Ravens choose to spend a small part of their day with me, I realise that lots of their behaviour is a mystery to me! Today they suddenly both called & flew off into the distance, then they came separately each doing different vocalisations.

I am so moved by the Ravens: their obvious affection for one another, how they raise a family, how they just soar & tumble having fun. I am biased but I can’t think of another species of bird so complex & interesting! Listen to their little chortles. How can you not love them! 😁

Some soothing Raven grooming to start your day. It’s an interesting discussion as to whether I am anthropomorphising the Ravens when I say they are my friends & just come to hang out, but that is my experience. Yesterday afternoon they ignored any food just wanted to sit & bond.

I am sat having breakfast with the Ravens reflecting on what an unusual & special thing it is to have such a relationship with wild animals. I call it a relationship as that is what it feels like. I get joy and companionship from them and they get food and companionship from me

Today’s Raven news! They came& found me 3 times on my walk. Mainly they follow me flying but I love how sometimes they follow me as I walk hoping along. There is something adorable about a Raven’s walk ☺️ They had a little mutual groom today but spent a lot of time caching food.

Liberal University student tried to steal our equipment after we debated the failure of multiculturalism at the Turning Point UK “prove me wrong” stand. They couldn’t win the argument, so they grabbed the gear instead. This is what the woke mind virus does to people

I waited for them to prove me wrong, instead they proved me right. "It's only 2sec clip" they said. Well this 35sec scene is even worse. Seeing this dead fish stiff kiss after tpp is just so embarrassing.

I love how they included the debriefing sa vlog. 🫶 This is them owning up to their errors and checking what they could've done better. Does it make them any less of an artist? Nah. If anything, this helps them get better. This is how they keep getting better and better. Acknowleding mistakes is better than faking perfection. 💙

Caleb Williams and the Bears looked "disjointed" in their 30-16 loss to the Ravens, Laurence Holmes says. "It scares me that they may have thought that they didn't need Lamar Jackson to win this game," Holmes adds of the Ravens. "That's a really scary thought."

Snow baths for both Ravens today. I’m sure if I watched other birds as closely I’d see how they all have amazing characters, but Ravens do seem special! I wonder, if more people saw what fun, affectionate characters birds are they would care more about them and their habitats.
