Most people think they have a strong back because they can move big weight on barbell rows. But in reality? They are just efficient at cheating. And the barbell row is arguably the easiest exercise to fake. You can add a little hip swing, use a bit of momentum, and suddenly you’re moving heavy weight. You feel strong, but your lats are barely working. That’s why I program technique refinement phases like this one to force a reality check. I’m not interested in just moving weight from A to B. I want maximum efficiency per rep. So, I swap the heavy loads for this variation: Iso-Hold Rows. The concept is simple: Pull and hold for 2-3 seconds. When you introduce that pause, momentum dies. You can’t bounce the weight. You have to physically own it at the hardest part of the movement. It’s the ultimate quality control for your back training. If you can’t hold the squeeze for 2 seconds, you aren’t controlling the weight. The momentum is. Control first. Load second.

It occurred after championship point from a tournament this weekend and the man that was assaulted, Peter Shonk, shared this video with us to post and wants everyone to know that he is ok. While I understand things get heated at tournaments this behavior is disgusting and completely unacceptable. I love pickleball as much as anyone I know but at the end of the day…it’s just pickleball. Thankful that Peter wasn’t seriously injured. 🙏🏼

YASH IS NOT PRABHAS 💯💯💯 Ever since Dhurandhar 2’s release date was confirmed, I’ve seen a lot of tweets from #Yash fans. Honestly, what surprises me is the level of overconfidence. If some people genuinely believe that #Toxic will collect more than #Dhurandhar 2 and also give tough competition in the Hindi belt, that’s their biggest misunderstanding. The simple truth is — Yash is not as big a star in the North as #Prabhas. What Prabhas has achieved so far, no other South Indian actor has reached yet. And if Toxic ends up clashing, it won’t even touch ₹100 crore in Hindi. Without strong Hindi support, recovering a ₹650 crore budget will be extremely difficult, because the Kannada market alone isn’t that big. Right now, only Prabhas has the pull to clash in the Hindi market — just like he did with Dunki. That’s why he’s the biggest Pan-India star at the moment. 🙌 Now let’s see what happens.
