Former Supreme Court judge Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia speaks up on bail denial to Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam. "I am disappointed with the judgement (bail denial to Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam). Supreme Court has misinterpreted K.A. Najeeb's case. In the K.A. Najeeb case, Supreme Court granted him bail considering that there are over 200 witnesses and there is no possibility of completion of trial in the near future. In what conditions does the judge recuse herself or himself from a case? Is it that she is completely uninterested in handling the case, or maybe there is an unofficial application to withdraw the case or a plea bargain to settle out of court?
