First the customer abused the shopkeeper and when he failed to prove his point, He started the language kalesh!

Have been in Maharashtra all my life. People are kind & accepting. I speak Marathi better than my native language. But it seems such instances are being triggered by few people and trying to diminish the prestige of our state. 1) if the shop has been there for long time, then definitely shopkeepers must learn Marathi 2) if new shop, then the person recording shouldn’t have started this altercation. He should try knock doors of Anant Ambani and force him to speak Marathi if he has the wherewithal. Maharashtra & Marathi people are good natured in general. It’s only a few who try to get some political/social traction by engaging in such altercations Jai Hind. Jai Maharashtra.

Dekh bhai Simple hai. If you’re in B2C, you NEED to learn local language. Here you’ll not even get a waiter job if you don’t know the local language forget opening a business.
