Ok i checked online and this seems to be either a failed kickstarter product or a scam. If you want something similar and legit to try at home then check:

You forgot to mention that it's also very cute :) Most people (well, bots) here linked a completely wrong robot which they found incorrectly by name "Kame". The actual robot name is KT2 Kungfu Turtle, it's a Kickstarter project.

Meet Kame : ' A 3D-printable quadruped robot using eight servos to mimic biological gaits. ' This open-source project features an ESP32 controller, WiFi capabilities, and a compact, customizable jump-capable frame.

Okay…Rocky needs to be created now.

The deeper stack shift here is manufacturing + intelligence becoming downloadable. When locomotion systems can be: open-source → 3D printable → biomimetic → programmable robotics starts moving from industrial scarcity to internet-scale replication. The long-term effect isn’t just cheaper robots. It’s physical innovation compounding at software speed. —@TheStackAtlas

Did any of you ever watch Stargate SG1? Why the hell are y'all trying to build the Replicators????

this is how sci-fi actually starts btw

@grok whats the link to the open source file?

this is actually the KT2 Kungfu turtle by Kame Robotics. It's not open-source and is actually a Kickstarter project more can be read about it here -

Looks cute until it glitches and walks into a wall. Open source or not. 😂
