“Speak Kannada in Karnataka!” But is this demand aimed only at Hindi speakers and not Urdu speakers? Don’t Muslims in Karnataka know Kannada, or do they hate Kannada?

German Citizen Jenifer currently staying in Karnataka learns Kannada and tries to converse in Kannada with locals. Look at the appreciation she gets for speaking in Kannada. If Germans can why can't Indians learn and speak Kannada with Kannadigas? #Bengaluru

"There is nothing wrong with that. They expect it like if it comes in Kannada, we want to see it in Kannada. #Pushpa (Kannada) collected more than 10 crores there. When we release there, we have to respect their language." - #Upendra | #AndhraKingTaluka

It is utterly disgusting on part of CM of Karnataka to invite Banu Mushtaq to inaugurate Mysuru Dasara. Kannada existed even before the arrival of Islam in Karnataka. Islam needs to embrace Kannada in Karnataka, not the other way. Siddaramaiah you should reconsider.

Kalaburagi is in Karnataka, not Pakistan! Why doesn’t C.M. Ibrahim, who speaks beautiful long Kannada when he wants, ever speak in Kannada? Have these vote-chasers suddenly lost their tongues on this issue? Or do the migrant Olatas who think Karnataka only Bengaluru even know that Kalaburagi district exists? #Kannada #Kalaburagi

Koreans are putting effort to learn and speak Kannada with the native Kannadigas. But our Indians are refusing to speak basic Kannada in Karnataka which will eventually benefit them. A basic kannada is must for all in Karnataka.

Kannadigas are too gracious to not walk out. We should be blunt too! If we ask for kannada songs, we are humiliated and are compared to terrorists! This should be a start of Kannada Karnataka Kannadiga strong movement! Be it GANESHA UTSAVA or YUVA DASARA, if kannada songs and kannada artists are a minority, kannada audience should walk out! #BanSonuNigam #CulturalTerrorist #HindiHegemonist #StopHindiImposition #SonuNigam #HINDIA_NOT_INDIA

After this incident, I went & spoke to a few officials, they said nothing can be done until unless we change the policy & bring domicile rule in railways recruitment !! 1. Bring all railway exams in Kannada 2. Bring domicile rule & make Kannada mandatory in Karnataka. #Kannada
