I’m a huge animal lover and dog rescuer but I never take my dogs to stores or restaurants. Leave your dog home, they don’t need to go everywhere with you.

I was at a Nordstrom Cafe in Bellevue not long ago, and a stubby tatted-up poi pounder wearing a muscle shirt walks in with a pit bull with an anchor chain for a leash. A women with two kids, including one in stroller was in close proximity and got up and left when the dog started jumping around anytime servers brought food near. The low IQ nimrod said it was service dog and wouldn’t leave when asked. UFR.

We trained our waitstaff to not engage with that type of guest Then the manager made clear to the guest that the dog stays and the floor and not to move around If they dog or the guest is unwilling then they are asked to leave Then ownership gets involved and backs the decision
