Based on Huawei's demo, it appears to use a hardware optical approach to narrow the viewing angle, although the company hasn't shared the full technical details. Experienced the new Galaxy S26 Ultra at the #GalaxyUnpacked event in Delhi thanks to Samsung India Big highlight is that Privacy Screen, it's implemented very well, can switch it on/off, selective blocking etc. S26 Ultra feels a lot lighter to hold, has to be best weight balanced Ultra till now. Now supports 60W wired charging & 25W wireless. I'll try to post my quick first impressions video by tomorrow evening.

Heads up! Samsung has introduced a very useful upgrade to the Privacy Display feature on the Galaxy S26 Ultra in One UI 9. For example, if you've enabled Privacy Display only for YouTube, when you minimize the video into Picture in Picture (PiP) and return to the home screen, only the PiP window will remain protected by Privacy Display. Your home screen and other apps will no longer be affected. In previous versions, once Privacy Display was enabled, the entire screen stayed in privacy mode, even after switching to PiP, making it much less flexible. This means One UI 9 finally supports independent Privacy Display for Picture in Picture. It keeps your PiP content private without affecting the rest of the interface, making the feature much more practical than before.
