Reflecting Pool Sparkling Clean After Epic July 4th Fireworks Show — (Video: AI) Clean up crew has already got the debris out of the reflecting pool from the historic fireworks show. Despite a former Olympian, David Hearn, being arrested and indicted for allegedly vandalizing the newly renovated pool (causing over $1,000 in damage to the liner), the site is looking pristine again. We visited one of the biggest social housing projects in the CBD where at least 79 illegally employed immigrants were taken in for processing by the Department of Home Affairs. We joined MMC for Roads and Transport Tlangi Mogale in Lynnwood this morning for a visit to the City’s Line 2C BRT construction site that stretches for about 4 km between January Masilela and Simon Vermoeten Roads. The construction will allow for the expansion by 3.4km of A Reng Yeng bus services towards Mamelodi. In addition, cycle lanes and pedestrian sidewalks are being built along the route. We made a second visit to the site because we were concerned about the contractors ability to meet the 23 June 2025 deadline for completion.

The first, under the leadership of Prigozhin, went in and took full control of Rostov-on-Don. This was done in order to turn the attention of the media and security forces away from the main operation. The second column, under the command of Dmitry Utkin, advanced towards Moscow and is now less than 100 km from the capital, in the suburbs of Moscow. In order to stop the columns, the Russian Armed Forces used aviation, but 1 plane and 4 helicopters were shot down by the PMCs. According to our information, a huge number of Wagners are already in Moscow, having got there under the guise of civilians. We continue to monitor the situation.

Despite the state's attempts to hinder the International Oppressed Peoples Conference since last night, taking away equipment and blocking participants, we've successfully conducted our conference. The state confiscated speakers, chairs, tables, and other items, and this morning, many of our guests were prevented from joining, with roads blocked and the sit-in surrounded by barbed wire. However, we persevered, holding the conference without the necessary resources. This, I believe, is our victory. We stand firm against oppression and brutality, determined to endure until the end of the Baloch genocide. In these challenging times, we seek unwavering moral support from the global community, hoping that the world will amplify our voice. #MarchAgainstBalochGenocide #StopBalochGenocide

Last night, our long-range sanctions were effective in the Rostov region. An export terminal approximately 250 kilometers from the front line was hit. Deep strikes also targeted oil facilities in the Yaroslavl region and the Udmurt Republic, which is 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine's state border. We are carrying out our plan of long-range sanctions and reducing Russia's ability to finance the war. I thank our warriors of Ukraine’s Defense Forces for their precise work in areas that, until quite recently, were deep in the Russian rear. Through our responses, we are bringing the war back to Russia so that, ultimately, a dignified peace has a chance.
