Can you imagine our present day sofa kings and queens calling out a guest for attacking workers striking for decent pay? Schofield? Madely? Our media has moved far right since Parky's day, but we didn't notice. Like frogs in a pot of water gently coming to boiling point.

Hmmm, really wish this was allowed to play on. Here it is in full, and this segment is at 9:08.

A lot of those strikes are not because they want more money, but because they were not being provided the right conditions in which they could do the job better. Often it's dangerous, stressful or highly skilled jobs they must accomplish.

@JimFraserz Parky > Williams. Of course it is crap. Workers want to do a good job, but they also want to get paid well for doing it.

Well said Michael. Ken, stuck in the 19th century Victorian era 'morality'. Working people are no longer capitalist industrialists slaves.

The view I would expect from a self- loathing son of Methodist petit bourgeois Londoner

It's amazing how much the world has evolved since then, and how much the richest British people have stayed the same. I couldn't tell the difference between the man complaining about the workers and Jacob Rees-Mogg.
