Hell yes!! Jhared Hack just won his first start on the India Pro Tour with a final round 59* to win by 5. Jhared has become a good friend, we helped raise money for him a few times. Truly one of the nicest people in golf. Won the 2007 Western Am, beat Rickie and DJ in match play. Turned pro at 18. Now 20 years into his pro career he is still grinding. Years of driver yips. It got so bad his friends would try to convince him to not play in Vegas money games, they would feel guilty taking his money. He refused. Found his way out of them. Battled back. A ton of mini-tour players have been broke, but no one as many times as Jhared. And no one plays better when he's broke. Has won mini-tour events multiple times when his cards were maxed and it was win or be done. Has played most every tour in the world. DP, PGA, KFT, Latin, Canada, Morocco, China, and now India. After he missed at 2nd stage here he told Mark Baldwin he was going to play in India. We thought he was crazy (we still think he's crazy) . He won 1st stage there, finished 2nd at final, now won in his first start. Gets $25,000 for the win, will get into 2 Hotel Planners events, possible a DP event. Moved up 2000 spots in OWGR. Talked to him this morning when I woke up, he was ecstatic. “Going to have some beers” before he gets on his way to next weeks event. I love it, every second of it. This is why I started this account, for wins like this at events no one has ever heard of. (* par 69, around 6,000 yards. A 59 to win is impressive regardless, but for full context)

🚨 Reporter asks Ronaldinho which country he would support to win the FIFA World Cup apart from Brazil: 🎙️ Reporter: “Ronaldinho, if Brazil don’t win the FIFA World Cup, who would you like to see become champions?” 🗣️ Ronaldinho: “First of all, I hope Brazil wins it. That’s my country and that will never change. But if Brazil can’t do it, I’d probably choose Portugal.” 🎙️ Reporter: “Why Portugal?” 🗣️ Ronaldinho: “Because I think they have a fantastic generation of players and they have been competing at the highest level for many years. They’ve won major trophies and they’ve built a very strong football culture. I also think they’ve been very close to achieving something special on several occasions.” 🎙️ Reporter: “Is Cristiano Ronaldo part of the reason?” 🗣️ Ronaldinho: “Of course. Cristiano is one of the greatest players football has ever seen. What he has achieved throughout his career is incredible. His dedication, discipline and consistency over so many years deserve enormous respect. Every player understands how difficult it is to stay at the top for that long. Cristiano has done it better than almost anyone.” 🎙️ Reporter: “So you would like to see Ronaldo win the FIFA World Cup?” 🗣️ Ronaldinho: “Yes. Brazil comes first for me, always. But if Brazil doesn’t win it, seeing Portugal lift the FIFA World Cup and Cristiano complete his football story on the biggest stage would be something very special for football.” {beIN SPORTS }

This should be a watershed moment for the Democratic Party. Senator John Fetterman — one of the last sane voices left in the party — just cut 84-year-old career socialist Bernie Sanders down to the bone for helping to destroy the Democrats from within. Listen to the full minute. It’s worth every second. FETTERMAN: “But I would like to remind everybody watching right now, you know, Bernie Sanders will NEVER represent ANY more than 640,000 people in Vermont.” “That’s all he’s ever done and he ever will do.” “You know, he’s never won an actual competitive election.” “And now why can’t…you know, stop giving me lectures on how to win.” “Bernie’s not flipping seats. He is helping install volatile and dangerous kinds of candidates that will put Democratic seats at risk.” “I’ve flipped seats. He’s never done that.” “I’m tired of his lectures overall.” “And now he claims that he’s not a member of the Democratic Party.” “You know, why can’t the DSA people just…they should just run as their own party.” “I think it’s important to remind people who is driving a lot of this conversation.” Well said, Fetterman. This feels like the beginning of something much bigger.

Words cannot express how proud and happy we are of our girls BGMI Roster (Team Rebel) for their phenomenal achievement in the BGMI Rising tournament. They have worked tirelessly for two years, honing their skills, practicing their strategies and overcoming every obstacle that came their way. They have faced doubts, criticism and discrimination, but they never let that stop them. They have always believed in themselves and in each other. They have always supported and encouraged one another. They have always played with passion, courage and excellence. And today, they have proven to the world that they are the best. They have won the BGMI Rising tournament, beating 63 other teams, including some of the top names in the industry. They have made history as the only girls-only line up to ever win a official BGMI event. They have also made a huge impact on the gaming community, especially on the girls who dream of becoming professional gamers and who face many challenges from society. They have shown them that anything is possible if you work hard, stay focused and follow your heart. They have inspired them to pursue their dreams and to never give up. They have become role models for a generation of gamers. We are so honored and grateful to have them as part of our organisation. We are so amazed by their talent, dedication and spirit. We are so excited for their future and we can’t wait to see what they will do next. Congratulations, Team Rebel! You are the legends! We love you! 💛👑🥇 #bgmi #champions

PRX alecks: “If you win a trophy in any year, it’s a good year. We’ve attended the two big events, Toronto and Paris, and we did well in Champs, in my opinion. I think we would have lost to the two teams that are in the top three. So that means that if anything, I think we lost to better teams, and I’m very, very proud of their performance in general, especially their resilience at the start of the year. I think the fact that we still managed to stick together and go through our tough times, I think it’s a huge milestone for the team. As a group, I think I just want them to know I’m very proud of them. I thought that they improved all the way to here. Maybe this wasn’t our best performance, but also these DRX guys, we’ve played with them every year. We know how good they are. I know everyone was rating them a bit low this event, but we knew coming in that they would be one of the better teams in this event, regardless. And particularly for PatMen, I think as a rookie to come into our team, it’s a hard, hard thing to do, and I know there’s a lot of self-doubt, but I think you should look back and be proud of yourself because I think you play well throughout the year.” #VALORANTChampions via Sofia Guimarães ⋆𐙚 ̊.

🚨 Ronaldo Nazário on Lionel Messi’s performance at the 2026 World Cup after Argentina’s defeat to Spain in the final. 🗣️ Ronaldo Nazário: “Watching that final was emotional because it reminded me of how cruel football can be. Messi gave everything once again, just as he did years ago, but sometimes even your very best isn’t enough to win the biggest prize.” “Eight goals, four assists, and another World Cup final at his age. Tell me, what else could anyone realistically ask from him? You can’t expect one player to score every goal, create every opportunity, defend every attack, and win the match alone.” “I’ve always believed greatness is measured by consistency at the highest level, and Messi proved that again. At an age when most players have already stepped away from international football, he was still the driving force behind Argentina’s campaign. That’s extraordinary.” “This tournament reminded me that football is a team sport. The greatest players in history still need teammates to rise to the occasion in the biggest moments. One player, no matter how talented, cannot carry an entire nation forever.” “I’m happy he won the World Cup in 2022 because a career like his deserved that achievement. Nobody can erase what he accomplished or what he means to football.” “Spain will be remembered as deserved champions, but people who truly understand football will also remember the individual brilliance Messi displayed throughout the tournament. He was the heartbeat of Argentina from the opening match to the final.” “He gave everything for his country—his talent, his experience, and his leadership. If eight goals and four assists still weren’t enough to win the trophy, then the blame should never fall on one man. Football has never worked that way.” “Years from now, people will look back on this as one of the greatest individual World Cup campaigns ever. Messi didn’t fall short; he simply showed once again that even the greatest player in history cannot win football’s biggest prize on his own.”

Jensen Huang told a room of graduates that nobody has a head start on them. He wasn’t being nice. Huang: “This is the best of times to be in school. This is the best of times to be graduating from school, because the world is reset.” Reset is an engineering word, not a motivational one. It means accumulated state is cleared. The machine restarts from a known position. He chose it on purpose. Huang: “An entire industry, the largest industry in the world, the computer industry, is reset. And because every industry in the world is built onto the computer industry, every industry is reset.” Logistics. Insurance. Farming. Film. All of it runs on computation, which means none of it gets to opt out. When the layer underneath moves, everything standing on it moves. Noticing is optional. Huang: “You are at exactly the same place as everybody else. Nobody has a head start on you.” Somewhere, a fifty-year-old heard the same sentence and did not feel encouraged. Identical fact. Different chair. A reset doesn’t delete what anyone knows. It deletes the premium on having known it first. The knowledge keeps its value. It stops paying interest. Seniority was always a bet that the ground holds still. Every generation before this one had elders to ask. On this, the most experienced person alive has about three years on you. Expertise here can’t be inherited. It gets built, and whoever builds it first becomes the person everyone else asks. Huang: “This is the perfect time to engage the most powerful technology the world’s ever known. It is personalized. Everybody has it on their browser. It is accessible. Obviously everybody’s using it.” Notice what he isn’t describing. No capital requirement. No license. No lab. Every general-purpose technology before this one gated on money or access. Steam needed a factory. Electricity needed a grid. Semiconductors need a fab. This one needs an open tab. The constraint moved somewhere uncomfortable. It used to be access. Now it’s whether you bother. Huang: “And put it to use in service of your career, in service of your dreams, to solve great problems. I can’t imagine how excited you must be, and yet I hear sometimes you’re concerned about the future.” The excited ones and the frightened ones are reading identical information. They differ only in what they do next. Fear is the correct measurement of a reset. It isn’t the correct conclusion. Huang: “I just need you to know that what I see on the other side is a welcoming industry looking for new college grads who are expert at using AI. Whether it’s expert at using AI for marketing or finance or engineering or software engineering, we are looking for expert AI users.” Read the criterion. Not a school. Not a transcript. Not years served. The qualification is a verb, and nobody holds a decade of it. Every advantage anyone has ever held began in a year when nobody had one. Every fortune, every dynasty, every edge you have ever resented traces back to a window like this one, and to the few who moved inside it. Resets expire. Nobody has a head start on you. That is true today. It gets less true every quarter, and by year’s end it will be somebody’s head start. Probably somebody who heard the same sentence you did. Waiting doesn’t feel like a decision. That’s what makes it the most common one. Everyone who ever missed one of these was busy, reasonable, and right about everything except the timing. A level field is not a gift. It’s a countdown.

“Jayden Daniels is CJ Strouding Caleb Williams!!!” FULL STOP. This isn’t Jayden Daniels vs Caleb Williams. It’s a battle of expectations. When you give a player Three #1 WRs, a dynamic running back, a #1 TE, a defense everyone expects to be top 10 and the Bears barely missed the playoffs last year, expectations are going to be HIGH. I tried to warn everyone of that in the offseason about Chicago. But stay with me. Now Chicago is sitting at 1-2 and some people are panicking because Caleb Williams has played like a rookie. Caleb will be fine, but the expectations are weighing on that entire team. Jayden Daniels and Washington have expectations for themselves, but no one gave them a chance to win against the Bengals except myself and true Washington Commanders fans. Everyone said Chicago was the better destination in the offseason. And when I said Washington was a better situation for a young QB because of the stability of the ownership, GM, Head Coach, OC and veteran pieces it pissed off a lot of people. “How could he say that?” “Chicago has the best personnel a rookie QB has ever had coming into the NFL.” I said it because I know first hand the importance of the environment to a young QBs success. In Chicago, there are a lot of clinched butts walking around because they know how much money they spent to improve their roster and they can’t have the same result or worse than last year. It also doesn’t help that the QB they traded away for a bag of layaway chips in Justin Fields has led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 3-0 record. In Washington, Jayden Daniels has taken a team with no expectations to a 2-1 record with a SENSATIONAL performance in front of the entire football world. 91.3 % completion percentage, which is the HIGHEST EVER for a Rookie in NFL History. More total Touchdowns than incompletions against the Bengals. Washington sees Jayden Daniels and gets an overwhelming feeling of hope. Chicago sees Caleb Williams and gets an overwhelming feeling of panic. Not JUST because the players’ play. But because of the expectations of the team. It’s still early in the season. And a lot can change in a matter of weeks. But the expectation for both teams is still the same. Washington has a chance to beat anyone when Jayden Daniels plays dang near perfect like he did against the Bengals. No one is all of a sudden picking them to win the Super Bowl, make the playoffs or win their division. But for them that doesn’t matter. They needed to find their Franchise Qb and in 3 weeks they did just that. Chicago made the moves they did not to find their franchise QB and give him time to develop. They did it because they believed Caleb Williams is already that guy and could get them there this year better than Justin Fields could. The pressure is on just 3 weeks in. Some people picked them to win the Super Bowl. Some picked them to win their division. Most picked them to at least make the playoffs. EXPECTATIONS were and still are high for them. Caleb Williams played terrible against the Tennessee Titans and the team won the game because of special teams and defense. The Bears are ready to win now. They are just putting everything on their young QB’s arm to get it done. The Commanders can win now, but aren’t asking the World of Jayden Daniels. He is just giving it to them. Expectations shape the narrative. Don’t worry. There’s still a lot of story to tell.

Jalen Brunson's one ring is worth more than both of Kevin Durant's combined. To me it's not even a debate. That's not disrespect to Durant's talent either. He's one of the most gifted scorers to ever play. But rings don't exist in a vacuum. Context is everything. And the context of how those two got theirs tells you everything about what kind of competitor they are. Durant had Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Serge Ibaka, and Steven Adams in Oklahoma City. They made the Finals in 2012 and were up 3-1 on a 73-win Warriors team in 2016. All that talent, and Durant still couldn't get it done. So he joined the team that just beat him. A 73-9 Warriors squad with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green already in place, as well as some of the best role players in history. He got his rings. Two of them. And nobody with a functioning brain thinks those rings tell you he could build something. They tell you he could join something. Now look at what Brunson did. He chose the New York Knicks. A franchise that hadn't won a championship in 53 years. A franchise that LeBron, Durant, and every other marquee free agent avoided because the pressure and the spotlight would eat you alive if you weren't built for it. Brunson came anyway. And he didn't come to ride shotgun. He came to build. The Knicks constructed their roster around him piece by piece. OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart. Every one of them bought in and played their role to the ceiling every single night. No shortcuts, no superteam handshakes. Just a plan, and Brunson was the engine of it. Then came the 2026 playoffs. The most dominant postseason run in NBA history. A +283 point differential across 19 games against four different defenses. Nineteen games, four rounds, four different schemes trying to solve them, and the Knicks solved every single one. Brunson was the reason it held together. He averaged 32.6 points per game in the Finals, the highest ever by a point guard. He dropped 45 in the closeout game on the road in San Antonio. He went right at Wembanyama, the reigning DPOY, the 7'4 face of the league everyone else was scared of. He did all of this with a torn tendon in his shooting wrist that required surgery three weeks later. He never mentioned it and never used it as an excuse. 11.2 points per game in the fourth quarter of the Finals. When the game tightened and the moment got heavy, Brunson wanted the ball and he buried them with it. Durant borrowed his rings from a dynasty that didn't need him. Brunson earned his in the hardest market in sports, against the best competition in the world, while his body was falling apart. History is going to remember who built something and who just showed up.

It was also the most extensive scouting activity in Lebanese history, and arguably in the Arab world. More than 74,000 members of the Imam al-Mahdi Scouts from across Lebanon took part, representing nearly every age group except the youngest. The level of discipline, coordination, and precision in their performances impressed observers, underscoring the strong sense of purpose and organization among these youth. Many families even covered the costs of transportation and uniforms themselves, a gesture that spoke volumes about their commitment. Despite operating with limited funding and volunteer staff, the Imam al-Mahdi Scouts managed to pull off a massive, meticulously organized event, one that many well-funded institutions could hardly match. It highlighted the group’s capacity for mobilization, strong leadership structure, and deep community trust built over decades. The event came just days after Lebanon’s General Security Directorate reportedly foiled a Mossad-linked plot, uncovering explosives intended for attacks during the public gathering of Sayyed Hassan Nasrullah's martyrdom anniversary on September 27th. Yet, in a striking act of resilience and defiance, thousands of Lebanese families still chose to send their children, transforming their participation into a powerful message of courage in the face of fear. The gathering also marked the 40th anniversary of the Imam al-Mahdi Scouts, an organization that has persevered through wars, sanctions, and social upheavals. The event’s message was unmistakable: you can destroy buildings and weapons, but you can’t destroy the spirit of a generation that refuses to surrender. Unlike many local NGOs accused of profiteering, mismanagement, and political opportunism, the Imam al-Mahdi Scouts have remained grounded in community service, maintaining their credibility and grassroots connection while steering clear of Lebanon’s typical cycles of corruption. Interestingly, the Lebanese mainstream media chose to ignore the massive gathering, despite routinely covering smaller, less significant NGO events. That absence, however, may have served as its own form of validation: “Generations of Sayyed” stood out as a rare example of integrity, untouched by the influence of money-driven media or political favoritism.

Total BS. Kobe is ranked 10 or 11th all time Bill Simmons Tell me once when any player ever uttered “Kobe is my GOAT”. Name one player who stated “Duncan is the toughest to guard in the league”. Never been said once. But for Kobe, it’s said. “Duncan is our Jordan”. Never said about Duncan, but said about Kobe. Why don’t these people ever mention Duncan getting clapped up by Kobe in 2008? We’ll get there but There’s a host of other stuff to get into though 1st. Kobe not Top 10? Really? How, with this resume. And I’m not even going to mention everything: People leave Kobe off the top 5 list and it’s a shame because you claim to know ball. Let’s dig into this. People get on Kobe for winning with Shaq when you know good and well Kareem and Magic hasn’t done what Kobe has done. Kobe proved that he was an all time Top 5 legend by winning back to back Chips without a Top 75 Teammate POST SHAQ!! They said he couldn’t win without him and he DID, yet they you and the media still punish him. Kobe was already on pace to be a Top 15-20ish player had he never won anymore championships without Shaq because his talent demands that. But he did over and above that POST SHAQ. Kobe proved the “you can’t win without Shaq narrative” was a sham. Not only did he prove it wrong, he totally obliterate that stronghold the media put on his career. Kobe faced the toughest of competition, TORCHED his rival Tim Duncan, had an all time run from 08-10 that saw him outdual and beat the same teams in the finals that Lebron, his Co-Megastar of the league at the time, would lose to. Kobe was ONE of the reasons Wade teamed up with your #2 All time guy Lebron, to get rings in a league where the Celtics and Kobe seemed to be unbeatable to Lebron and Wade. People act like Kobe didn’t cross every box and jump every hurdle y’all put in front of him. He has championships, Consensus 1-2 Most skilled all time, Stats, 4th points all time (despite slow start to career) and is the 1-2 greatest scorer of all time considering he did what he did in the slowest paced era where the league still esteemed defense and drafted and paid big money in free agency for “KOBE STOPPERS”. AND HE DID ALL THIS IN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE!! 25-10 vs. 50 WIN PLAYOFF teams (most all time) 122- 40 point games 25- 50 point games 6- 60 point games 12 time All Defensive team 9 time All Def 1st(most alltime for Gaurd) Revered by his rivals as Top 1-5 all time AND MJ STATED THAT Kobe is the only player he thinks can beat him!! And you know the only reason Kobe doesn’t have more MVPS is because of COLORADO so don’t even bring up that media driven narrative award. I’m done 🫡 Oh, before I go, here’s that spanking I was referring to in 2008⬇️

We’re launching a campus organization, inspired by Charlie Kirk! A few months before Charlie Kirk was shot dead on a university campus, I had a long conversation with him — almost an hour. He was worried about Canadian universities. The cancel culture. The silencing of conservative students. The indoctrination factories he had spent his entire career fighting south of the border. He had seen it up close, and he asked me: were we going to fight back? I told him yes. Then, on September 10, 2025, a politically motivated sniper climbed onto a rooftop at Utah Valley University and put a bullet in Charlie Kirk’s neck while he was doing exactly what he always did — standing up for free speech on a university campus. I’ve thought about that conversation a lot since then. Because Charlie understood something that too many people on our side still refuse to face: the university campus isn’t just where young people go to get degrees. It’s where the woke mob is manufactured. It’s where the cancel culture foot soldiers are recruited, trained, and radicalised — before being sent out into the world to tear down everything we hold dear. We’ve made real gains. Independent media is getting stronger. We win (sometimes) in the courts. And the battle for free speech has new allies, like Elon Musk and his social media platform, X. But the woke machine at our universities is still running at full capacity. You know the stories: Lindsay Shepherd was a 22-year-old teaching assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University. She showed a short video clip of Jordan Peterson in class — as part of a lecture on a controversial topic. Her professors hauled her into an interrogation and compared her to a Nazi showing propaganda films. This past January, Conservative MP Garnett Genuis was refused permission to hold an event at York University. A sitting Member of Parliament — barred from speaking to students. Those are just the stories that got coverage. Every day, thousands of our students sit down, stay quiet, and self-censor — terrified of being destroyed by the mob before their careers have even started. And nobody is fighting for them. If we don’t fight at the source — inside the lecture halls and student unions where the actual indoctrination happens — we’re only ever chopping heads off a hydra. It will keep growing new ones. And right now, on Canadian campuses, our side has nobody. The Conservative Party’s campus clubs are too nervous to stick their necks out for anyone — they don’t want to risk their political careers. No think tank is focused on campuses. The faith communities, the advocacy organizations — all doing important work, but few of them are walking through the doors of our universities. That is why The Democracy Fund (The Democracy Fund) is launching Canadian Students for Free Speech — a TDF-led national network that will establish student-led, officially recognized free speech clubs on every post-secondary campus in Canada. If you care about free speech, if you want to support conservative and freedom-oriented students on Canada’s university campuses, learn more about Canadian Students for Free Speech and donate to help build it. Here is the plan. The Democracy Fund is recruiting students with backbone, and we will train them in campus organising and free speech philosophy. We will coach them step by step through the process of getting their clubs officially recognised by their universities — and trust me, that battle alone will be worth documenting and publishing. We will equip them with professionally printed posters, pamphlets, and proven messaging to promote free speech. Canadian Students for Free Speech will bring speakers directly to those campuses: Tamara Lich, and other freedom fighters who’ve been through the fire. Debates, town halls, and meet-and-greets that give conservative and freedom-loving students a reason to come together and realise they are not alone. Canadian Students for Free Speech will train every club member to document every act of censorship — and we will publish every story. And when the administration comes after them — and they will come after them — Canadian Students for Free Speech will show up with cameras, journalists, and The Democracy Fund’s lawyers. Our students will not face the mob alone. To do this properly, The Democracy Fund is hiring a full-time National Campus Coordinator. This is a real, demanding job. This person will travel coast to coast — from UBC to Dalhousie — recruiting student leaders, running training weekends, coordinating speaker tours, managing club applications, and fielding that call at midnight when a dean suddenly decides to cancel a student event. They will be the spine of the entire operation. Beyond the salary, there are real costs to account for: printed materials for clubs at dozens of campuses, travel expenses for our speakers, legal fees when universities try to block or deregister our clubs, and the infrastructure to run a national student network. This is not a small project. But then again, losing an entire generation to indoctrination is no small matter. REPORT by Ezra Levant 🍁🚛:

And that’s a wrap on First Stand !! Incoming “I ain't reading that, happy for u, or sorry that happened” post xD First Stand Gameplay - Was pretty happy with how the lane swaps and adjustments to Atakhan worked out. Don’t know the exact number), but it felt like mostly Ruinous with games of Voracious where it made sense and no lane swaps - There was a good amount of AD/AP squishy and tank mix in each role with omega gigachad Zeka pulling out the Sylas Ahri and Akali where it made sense 🙃 - Skarner and Kalista were the outliers on priority, but teams didn’t seem particularly effective with Kalista… - Skarner on the other hand; will discuss with the team about larger work on him when we get back; he’s too effective at too many things, while also being impotent for regular players - As announced yesterday by Greeley, we’re hoping to see adaptive drafts continue with Fearless for the rest of the year, I think diversity will continue to increase as teams get better at finding lines to draft that make certain counterpick/situational champs god tier after certain champs are out; it will evolve into more of a TFT/Chess style “find the optimal line to draft with the pieces given”, which the prospects are really exciting - An improvement point feels like how long it takes to end if a team gets a significant early lead; part of this is how optimal boringly slowly choking the opponent out is over 15 min, rather than changing the incentive structure so that ahead teams can make major decisive play and can end the game swiftly - Maybe an opportunity space for the future… but interested in hearing peoples’ thoughts on this First Stand Experience - It was amazing and inspiring seeing how many fans were coming out to support the teams without tickets - Not only the KC fans who flew from Europe to do a meetup watch party and it was great chatting to a few, but also what felt like an unstoppable number of college girls coming out to support HLE. I think I counted about 100 wearing HLE jackets on finals day, but it was a reminder of how integrated and mainstream popular League feels in the East - As soon as the entry to the cheerfuls (signs) opened, they all charged in to go and start drawing their cards, it was honestly quite shocking the level of dedication and enthusiasm that some of these fans had, but also awesome - I can’t possibly imagine something like that happening in the West… - We also had the honor to play in a mini Arena tournament with a bunch of LCK Legends that have I've been watching for 15 years and didn’t do too shabby; went 6th, 3rd, 2nd, but Mingyo and Sangho were too good… - It will be the first and last time I get to say I killed Pray, Smeb, Kuro, Madlife, Shy on repeat :D and the players watching on stream were surprised to see the Devs were actually pretty decent LOL, which felt nice - A fan came out specifically to play with Kuro, wearing a ROX Tigers jersey and seeing the joy of getting to meet and play with your hero, she was laughing, smiling, it must have been the time of her life; it’s just a reminder of how meaningful League can be and just makes us really inspired to keep working hard to make the game good Solo Q Experience and Balance - Outside of the work obligations, had some time to slam 20 Solo Q games; was pleasantly surprised by my level this time around, feels like I’m playing around solidly KR D2/D1 level, which is quite shocking, because it’s not like I’m Masters level on NA right now and haven’t been able to play more than 50 games in the last 6 months due to life. Probably would've won more if I wasn't such a kda player xD - Main character syndrome still feels really peak here, the person either goes 8-0 or 0-8 and is spam FF’ing repeatedly, so minimizing my enemy laner impact, scaling and playing defensively to support my jungler feels most effective even though I’m playing Ori who feels like a dog champ on this server, since it’s so hard to actually land QW on anyone due to their mechanics and it’s risky to walk in river and so easy to die to ganks - Moving to help jungler in lost fights to avoid mental boom is the only thing that I’m finding annoying, some of these fight selections feel extremely perplexing, like Zac wanting to fight Lee at first scuttle with no prio and I end up having to sac my lane half the time to prevent them from AFK’ing or soft inting because I didn’t move, it’s super annoying… - Every post game chat also feels like at least 3 players are writing their PhD thesis, which is somewhat amusing, but also really unfortunate… - It feels like Lee Sin or Viego are in every game with a 30% pickrate, so if you can prevent the team from throwing and always follow them around and play secondary, they can carry, whereas on NA, Lee Sins in Diamond can't carry and suck relatively (ping hurts as well), so it’s not like you can play around them reliably - It was interesting to feel again for myself just how different these champs feel in their balance state across servers, indeed in one of the press conferences there was a question about balancing decisions making no sense for the state of the champ on KR server. I can see why KR players get angry when we buff Lee because the other regions suck at him, he unironically feels 2-3% winrate stronger on KR server, same with Jayce who has a monstrous pickrate here as well - We even almost buffed Lee Sin for First Stand because he’s been pretty absent from Pro, so I’m actually not quite sure what we’re meant to do about that… - The other thing that I forgot was how good it was to play on 2ms ping. I’m not sure whether it’s net positive for the person dodging or the person hitting, but since I mostly play immobile mages, it feels like I can dodge line skillshots and range leash people more effectively, which makes Mages feel so much better, though it also means it’s extremely hard to QW tag someone in a teamfight as Ori, let alone hit them with R - I’m curious if any people have done any analysis on this - I also attached typical KR Lee Sin penta 😅 Anyway, back to NA tmrw, lots of work to do

And that’s a wrap on First Stand !!
