Scottie Scheffler was asked ahead of the Masters if he’s surprised himself with how quickly he became the best player in the world and not only did he give a great answer, but he also explained why pathways are so important: “I mean, that's a good question. I think it's a hard one to answer. I always had faith and belief in myself, but I didn't -- I never told myself I want to win these tournaments. I always just had what I feel like were dreams and aspirations, and I feel like I had the talent to be able to accomplish certain things. “I never really kind of thought this far ahead. I dreamed of having a chance to win the Masters tournament, and I'm fortunate to have been able to have done that twice. Did I imagine that? I imagined myself winning, and I was hopeful I could accomplish that, but I didn't set out, when I came off the Korn Ferry Tour, you know what, I'm going to get to No. 1 in the world. I'm going to win this many majors. I'm going to win this many tournaments. “It was more taking it a step at a time. My manager was a big part of that as I turned pro. When I turned pro, I kind of went through all the steps. I tried some Monday qualifiers for the Korn Ferry Tour. I played some mini tour events to stay sharp. I went through Q-School, went through Korn Ferry Tour, and then I got out on the PGA Tour. Everything for me was step by step. “The year I played on the Korn Ferry Tour, I had some opportunities to come out here and play on the PGA Tour, but my manager and I kind of spoke about just being -- you can only be on the Tour where you're at, and our goal that year was to continue to play good golf, focus on the Korn Ferry Tour, develop, get better, and then get ready for the PGA Tour. “We just kind of took everything step by step, so I never really looked that far ahead, to be honest with you.” Scottie Scheffler’s rise to the top happened fast but he had to work his way up from the bottom tiers of professional golf. He turned pro in 2018 after graduating and played Monday Qualifiers for the Korn Ferry Tour, he then earned a card via Q School for 2019. That year he was Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year and earned a PGA Tour card for the 2019/20 season where he was rookie of the year. He then made his Ryder Cup debut in 2021, beating the then world number 1 Jon Rahm in the singles. That gave him the confidence to go on and win 3 times in early 2022 to overtake Jon and become world number 1 himself. He then won the 2022 Masters by 3 shots over Rory McIlroy becoming just the 5th player in history to don the green jacket as the best player in the world and he’s never looked back. Since the start of 2022 Scottie has won 25 times worldwide, including 4 majors, an Olympic gold medal and won The Players twice. He’s 3 legs towards the Career Grand Slam and looking to win his 3rd Masters title this week. He also has 16 top 10s in the 22 majors he’s played since 2020. Truly astonishing. Scottie Scheffler is already one of the best players of all time and at every major championship he plays he is chasing more history. The Masters

Asked Nuggets coach David Adelman about the season that Jaylen Brown has had, and he gushed about Brown as both a player and a person. "The the elite shooting from mid range is such a big deal in our game, it's the late-clock ability, his overall size, his ability to play in the middle of the floor, which is really hard to come double people and not give up the three point line to a team like they have, I would just say his continued evolution in his game. "He's an elite, All-Star player, two-way player. I just watched him grow over the years, not just the championship year, but with Jayson Tatum, obviously out, more responsibility falls into his hands, and I thought they did a great job building around him for this particular season, with all the shooting that surrounds him." "He's a problem. He's not fun to watch on tape when you have to play against him. I'm a fan of his, just as a pure basketball person, not just as a coach. Actually got to spend some time in Africa, he was such an impressive person. He's good for the NBA. He's going to be a probelm for us tonight." "There was an Africa game that I coach in, that he played in. They used to do that yearly in South Africa. It's an amazing event. He came down there for that. And some of the events that we had to do -- humanitarian stuff, you go out and you see these communities, and just to see his investment in it was really impressive. And he was at a much younger age then. And I remember him in the bubble, speaking up at meetings and things like that." "Some people are born to lead. He definitely stands out as one of those people."

Alex Fitzpatrick’s start to life on the PGA Tour has been exceptional. After earning membership via winning the Zurich Classic with his brother, Matt, he’s finished T9, 4 and T6 in 3 Signature Events, including a final round 65 yesterday at The Memorial for another top 10. After the round, he was asked if it was good prep for the US Open: “Absolutely, yeah. That played like a major championship out there. It certainly wasn't easy. I think only having two milkshakes this week was probably the key to playing well in the last round. But, no, it's a great test out there. I played really nicely today. I finally holed some putts, so it was nice shoot a low one and see where that leaves me.” He was also asked how nice it’s been to start so well on the PGA Tour: “Yeah, it's really rewarding. I guess that was always the thing after we won, it was, like, how is he going to do, is he going to carry on playing okay. I think that the biggest thing I took really was the win in India. I felt like that was a big weight off my shoulders. That was kind of something that I had wanted since I was young, to win on that TOUR, and I felt like that made it a little easier going into the Zurich not having as much pressure and just trying to enjoy it. “But it's definitely been really rewarding playing some good golf following that and, yeah, hopefully, that stays like that.” Alex says he’s going to play the next 3 weeks at the RBC Canadian Open, the US Open and then the Travelers. He also went to Shinnecock 10 days ago with Matt to check out the course ahead of his US Open debut. Alex’s journey this year has been a lot of fun to follow and hopefully he can keep trending for the rest of the season 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Alex PGA TOUR the Memorial

We’ve seen a lot of dogs in bad conditions but I think this lovely boy might be the worst pain I’ve ever seen a dog in. We’d been told about him by a kind man in the community who found him but had no idea how to help beyond giving him water, food and putting a little electric fan on him. He eventually got through to us in sheer desperation. The dog has been there for days apparently and probably hit by some sort of major trauma. He hasn’t eaten or drank his water and he was laying in his own pee and poop. That little alley way was where it was all going to end very soon because I could see from his gums and other signs he was in big big trouble. We had to just go for it and make a stretcher with what we had and push through the pain. It took us 40 minutes to get back to Tina’s hospital and he screamed at every tiny bump on the road. I thought his spine was broken and was super relieved when it wasn’t. I thought he might be so bad that we’d never be posting this video as it might be better to put him out of his misery. He is very sick and has some stuff going on internally but it is pelvis related we believe. He is by no means 100% going to make it as he has so much going on inside him but we have some hope now. The team are in full action mode to try and save him. I called him Bear as he is a big fluffy gentle giant I can tell. I’m not sure how this story ends but it’s already better than he was alone in that alley this morning. He’s having a huge sleep now with lots of pain relief and meds. 🤞🤞🤞
