Omar Cooper Jr. #5 WR/#34 overall Balanced skillset with very few red flags/major weaknesses. Good straight-line athlete, adequate size, excellent COD/fluidity. Played slot (83.3%) in '25 & Z (90.3%) in '24 - probably a slot in the NFL, but showed he can at least survive vs. press. Strengths: - Speed, C.O.D., & technique to separate from/stack man coverage at all 3 levels - Advanced salesmanship & sudden transitions as a route runner. Good feel for attacking leverage & turning the DB's hips - Changes speed down the stem to disguise his route & delay/rush the defender’s break - Separated consistently on digs/posts/outs/corners/sail routes. Very effective rocker step - Dangerous blend of elusiveness & contact balance after the catch - Led this WR class in missed tackles forced (27) & ranked 2nd in Yds After Contact/Rec (5.6) - 4.2% career drop rate - Body control, balance, & hand-eye-foot coordination to secure acrobatic catches Weaknesses: - Struggles to play through contact at the stem & breakpoint. This is THE elite exercise for hip mobility: (Especially if you sit at a desk all day) It’s called 90/90 It’s my all time favorite mobility drill for internal and external rotation of the hip Sit on the ground with both legs at 90° (This alone may already be a good stretch for you) Then begin to lean forward to deepen the stretch Key here is actively pressing your front knee and ankle into the ground while simultaneously raising your back ankle off the ground Hold in that active stretch for a slow 5 seconds then release That is one rep Repeat 5-10 reps each side

This One-Play Touchdown Bomb Scores Against EVERY Zone Defense in #Madden27 🤯 This one setup bombs Cover 3, Cover 4, Cover 3 with a Deep Half AND even Cover 2. Formation: Trips X Nasty Play: Verticals Setup: 1️⃣ Corner Route the TE & Fully Stem Down 2️⃣ Drag the Slot WR 3️⃣ Put the solo WR on an In Route 4️⃣ Stem the In Route up about 2 times The key is the pass lead. Against Cover 4, the Inside Quarter drops while the Outside Quarter jumps the Corner, creating a window over the top for a one-play score. Cover 3? Same result. Even if they add a Deep Half specifically to stop the bomb, wait for the window and pass lead Down + Inside to get underneath it. Cover 2 has a better chance, but the right pass lead can still get the ball away from the Deep Half for six. INFIELDER TIPS: Work from the ground up. Field the ball out front by reaching out, then softening your elbows. A simple rule: You should always be able to see the ball AND your glove in the same view. After the catch, bring the ball back to the center of your chest with your elbows out. That puts you in a strong position to transition and throw with a repeatable arm stroke. And don’t become a two-hand robot. Practice using one hand, especially on balls outside the framework of your body. Your glove hand needs freedom to work.

Let's talk about this lift, but let's do so in a way to move the strength and conditioning profession forward. There is too much weight on the bar. The athlete cannot do that much weight without the spotter pulling them up off the ground. We know these things to be true. Does this mean split squat should not have a 1RM? Or should not be 1RM (or rep tested)? No it does not. Split Squat should. It should just be assessed properly with no pulling up out of the bottom (just like a back squat should not, or spotters hands on a bench press). Love to see the safety with other spotters on each side, would just like to see less slamming knee on ground and needing to be pulled up out of the bottom. TL;DR - 1RM or rep max your split squat/reverse lunge, just make sure you don't let athletes slam their knee on the ground and make sure you don't pull the athlete up out of the bottom.

CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Driver Knocked Out In Lakewood Road Rage Attack [EXCLUSIVE VIDEO - GRAPHIC WARNING] A road rage incident in Lakewood turned violent Friday afternoon, with one man arrested after allegedly attacking another driver and knocking him unconscious. Most hitters think the stride works like this: Foot forward… back hip stays cocked, coiled, loaded whatever the term, then WHAM. I get it. Sounds cool. But the swing isn’t a Looney Tunes slingshot. For instance, a toe-tap stride, the whole system moves forward together — head, torso, and lower half toward the pitcher in sync. Look at the yellow lines. (Start to finish) The roof → spine → base all move forward into the position to fire. Where hitters get in trouble is when the foot goes forward but the head and torso stay back. Now they’re stuck on the backside… the front shoulder pops up and the barrel starts down too soon causing a steep swing with balls into the ground or missing under that one fastball. The stride isn’t just a step. It’s a controlled forward move of the whole system. Study the lines. Agree or disagree? ⚾️ Train with an expert. Not an influencer

Why I don’t love this drill: - “Parallel Feet” – does not produce force when hitting or tackling and encourages stopping your feet and “catching” the runner. Imagine if a running back at contact got his base wide and started chopping his feet parallel—would he break any tackles? - Tackling with force comes from decelerating with a “Gather Step” (staggered feet) and then re-accelerating just before contact by driving force into the ground. - “Head Up” tackle. Only in rare cases should a defender find himself head-up on a runner. 90% will be some sort of leverage tackle. You can even see in this clip he tries to get his helmet to the side, because head-up is unnatural. I recently did a breakdown on Demario Davis the 1st clip was as close to perfect of a “Heads Up” tackle in the hole as you will see.

De’Zhaun Stribling (Ole Miss WR) has gotten shockingly little draft coverage. • Fluid mover who builds speed quickly and eats up space against off coverage while consistently threatening defenses downfield. • Brings ideal outside size with strong hands and body control, wins at the catch point, and can produce at every level of the field. • Polished route runner — does a great job settling vs. zone and creating separation vs. man, especially on curls, comebacks, and intermediate concepts. • Shows the tools to beat press with footwork and timing, and tracks the ball naturally downfield for explosive plays. There were some questions about his speed and playmaking ability, but he silenced those with a 4.36 40 time and a 9.88 RAS score. A player I could see sneaking into Round 3 when it’s all said and done.
