I’d say that he was a broken man… that trump broke him, but the truth is, that this weird dude, surrounded my flatterers & flunkies is who he has always been. An unremarkable man, so incredibly blinded by his endless pursuit of power that it’s essentially consumed him whole. And what you get is this odd, nonsensical, frat boy, thirsty ranting instead of leadership.

The problem is though...that DC media (WaPo is the worst at this) are playing this as a horse race, showdown etc...and not pointing out that using the debt ceiling as leverage is political extortion.
