KHAN, SAYED & MALEMA There was a parallel exchange between Major General Khan and Mr Julius Malema, intermediated by Mr Sayed. • On 15 June 2021, Mr Sayed forwarded to Major General Khan a message from Mr Julius Malema in the following terms: “Need to know the complaint in... case no: SANDTON CAS 76/07/2019.” • He followed this up with a message explaining the source of this request: “Juju bru”. • At 16h57 on 15 June, Major General Khan obliged by providing an extract from the SAPS computerized case filing system with details of the name of the complainant in the case. A copy of the extract from the SAPS case filing system is attached. Major General Khan then also separately messaged Mr Sayed with not only the complainant’s name, but also his address. • The complainant in Sandton CAS 76/07/2019 was the curator of VBS Bank, Mr Anoush Rooplal. Mr Malema has been implicated in the VBS Bank scandal in the plea explanation affidavit of the former VBS Chair, Mr Tshifwa Matodzi who pleaded guilty and was sentenced to an effective 15 year term of imprisonment for his role in the scandal. Mr Matodzi stated in his plea explanation affidavit that, in an attempt to buy EFF political protection for VBS, he had paid bribes of millions of rands to Mr Malema and Mr Floyd Shivambu in the guise of making donations to the EFF. Evidence leaders presented WhatsApp chats showing General Khan, via Mr. Sayed, coordinating with Mr. Malema to orchestrate the removal of the Inspector General of Intelligence. Khan drafted questions for Parliament, including: "Convicted drug dealer... claims to be close friends with you. Is this true?" and "What gratification does the Inspector General... enjoy from this person?" The aim was to trap the Inspector General into lying about his relationship with a convicted drug lord (Tomi Marimutu). Khan stated: "This should get him to lie. And in return, we can ask for his removal because he lied." The chats show Malema was directly involved in formulating questions, and a meeting between Malema, Khan, and Sayed was arranged for 20 June 2021. #MadlangaCommission

Evidence leaders presented a timeline showing General Khan's disciplinary troubles at Crime Intelligence aligning with interventions by Mr. Malema. On 30 July 2021, Khan received a disciplinary notice and initially told Mr. Sayed to hold off involving Malema. After the story leaked to the press on 2 August, Khan sent Sayed a photo of Malema and Sayed together. On 3 August, Sayed forwarded a tender for fleet management services (Bertobright) to Khan, stating "Juju sent me... I think he wants us to do it." The tender was linked to allegations of corrupt payments to the EFF. By 22 September, Malema reportedly told Khan: "You will not ever resign no matter what. This is a fight and we will emerge victorious." The evidence leaders submitted this shows a quid pro quo: Malema's political support in exchange for Khan and Sayed assisting with the Bertobright tender. #MadlangaCommission

So many skeletons in Khans’ closet, I wonder if his best friend, Mr Malema, is still “struggling” in his mind. Can you imagine, so far, the Madlanga commission links Gen Khan to cartels. “I am still struggling in my mind, why is Khan being called”. - Malema, Juju of the EFF.

♦️Throwback♦️ On the 5th of January 2024, the CIC, Julius Sello Malema, raised a concern regarding the slow pace of progress in the murder of Kieran “AKA” Forbes and expressed disappointment in Lt General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi in how he was handling the case, while the EFF had consistently shown faith in him. This was at an EFF press conference at Moses Mabhida Stadium, ahead of the EFF rally. It was these public comments that led Lt General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi to approach General Khan, requesting a meeting with the CIC to explain progress in the matter, and stating that he did not want to announce too early for fear of interference from the then Minister of Police, Bheki Cele. The truth has long legs! Register to vote for the EFF in the government elections:

Nkosiyam'!! We're heading back to the City of Tshwane. General Khan's gadgets that he refused to give the Madlanga Commission permission to download them, even taking the Commission to the High Court but he lost the case. So now the devices have finally been searched and downloaded, and now look at the evidence coming from them. It's like a response to all those who come before the commission about what was happening in the City of Tshwane and Ekurhuleni Municipality, where yesterday General Khan's WhatsApp chats showed he had knowledge of what was happening in Ekurhuleni, even having information about Dr Mashazi, her husband, and friends and the records showing that the chattedflight to UK was paid by Mr Ze Nxumalo . Now today it's Mr Malema, with the (BBT Balimi Barui Trading Pty Ltd) a company owned by tenderpreneur Hendrick Kganyago alleged to have paid bribes to the EFF in exchange for tenders in the City of Tshwane😳🤔🤦‍. #MadlangaCommission
