Lammy immediately waffled on about banning people from around the world, dodging the question entirely. Then he threw out a misleading “43 arrests” figure, knowing full well it was the overall weekend total across London, not specific to the Unite the Kingdom march. Nick called him out on it. So sly. All Lammy wants to do is unfairly tarnish the event and everyone who attended. The first version was built in one day, and from there, he iterated his way to 100 people who loved the product: “The whole thing was just iterating, step by step trying to build something that made people happy.” The team decided that they needed to have 100 happy users before launching gmail to the world. To achieve this, Paul embedded a quick questionnaire in the interface that asked users: “Are you happy? Yes or No” Paul would then seek out all of the “No” responders and ask them directly: “What will it take to make you a happy user?” He ignored feedback from the people who said things like “it basically needs to be a clone of Outlook” because it was unlikely he would be able to convert them. But other people just needed a minor feature or a bug fix. So Paul worked on those requests one-by-one until he hit 100 happy users. Email was 30 years old when Paul started building gmail, and it’s pretty much impossible to enter a space like that and build something that appeals to everyone. Also, there's a specific part that was completely misunderstood and taken entirely out of context! CHANYEOL was just explaining that he was super thin at debut (1st pic), then got obsessed with bulking up after his military discharge (2nd pic). He already shared before that he went through a hard time back then, and in this clip, he was JUST ADDRESSING the fans' reactions to that period. Then, he found a healthy, balanced routine that got him to his current body (last pic) which he achieved entirely for himself and because HE wanted to, NOT because it’s what fans preferred When one of the MCs asked him about fan preferences, he just answered that they usually like lean figures (WHICH IS WAY TOO FAR FROM HIS CURRENT BUILD). He was literally just answering a question, NOT saying that’s how he OR the members supposed to look! He was just saying he advised the members not to get too obsessed with bulking up THE WAY HE DID! He was referring to the unhealthy mindset and habits that came with it. He NEVER once told them to lose weight “가시” The build that fans prefer is something that neither CHANYEOL NOR any of the members look like, AND HE NEVER told anyone to look like that. I just hope people watch the full video and understand the full context instead of relying on mistranslations and misinformation that take his words completely OUT OF CONTEXT 🙏

This is a good example of why Rupert needs a nationalist crash course in media training. He’s asked about banning foreigners from becoming MP’s which should be a question Restore knocks out the park and uses to differentiate themselves from Tory-Reform. Instead the answer runs off into Japan debt holdings followed by a very unassured answer which ends with him basically admitting he can’t give the details on what should be a flagship Restore policy. I get the sense he hasn’t been prepped for these interviews via briefing packs and mock interviews and winging it doesn’t seem to be working for him. Message discipline is everything. The Restore Staff need to create a binder of their policies and how to communicate them then Rupert needs to study it and become fluent in it.
