Maybe, just maybe... humans weren't actually created to be slaves to mindless work to make someone else rich? For most of recorded human existence, progress has required slaves to do mindless physical labor. Sure, we call them something else right now (migrants, the poor, etc.) but they are slaves. The implementation of Optimus by @elonmusk has the potential to completely fulfill what America started with our Civil War: the continued progression of humanity with the total obliteration of human slavery. What does that free us to do as a species? What does that enable us to do as a species? What we have been doing for thousands of years is... somewhat adequate. What are the possibilities if we try something totally new?!?
