SpaceX has officially acquired xAI and this is a HUGE deal, probably bigger than most people realize. SpaceX + xAI together are about to build a single, vertically integrated engine that connects AI, rockets, space based internet, and real time information all into one unified system. At the core of this announcement is the fact that AI can’t scale forever on Earth. Think about it. Data centers are already running into hard limits with power, cooling, land, and environmental cost. On top of this, global AI electricity demand is exploding, and doing all of this on the ground just doesn’t scale long term. Therefore Space changes this. In orbit, you can get things like near-constant solar power, you don’t have cooling problems, there’s minimal land/environmental impact, and you can build systems that can run continuously with minimal maintenance. This is why space-based AI is actually very practical and there’s only one company that can do it, which is SpaceX! The scale that SpaceX is aiming for is pretty wild. Elon is talking about 1/ 1 million satellites acting as orbital data centers, and 2/ Launching ~1 million tons of satellites per year Which means 3/ At 100 kW per ton, that’s 100 gigawatts of AI compute every year 4/ And that can scale to 1 terawatt per year. FYI, adding 100 GW of new compute capacity annually in space would be like building out roughly 20-25% of the USA’s total average electricity demand every single year. And scaling to 1 TW/year would exceed the nation’s entire power usage, ALL without burdening Earth’s grids! Bro… this is next level… I repeat, as of today, SpaceX is the ONLY company positioned to do this, especially with Starship - the largest flying vehicle ever. In the future, Elon’s saying the team is going to have Starship launch 200 tons at a time, on an HOURLY basis… WTF?! That’s is absolutely mind boggling. In my opinion, whichever company builds the lowest cost AI compute is going to be the first company that defines the next era of AI, which will all be in space… and my $ is that SpaceX is going to be the first one to do it. Then, when you zoom out even further, this will unlock things most people aren’t even thinking about yet today bc it’s too sci-fi. Like, • Powering lunar bases • In-space propellant transfer • Manufacturing in orbit and on the Moon • Deep-space AI infrastructure using massive solar collectors • Self-growing civilizations on the Moon, Mars, and beyond By tapping into space’s unlimited solar energy, this is how we get to a Kardashev-level civilization! So for SpaceX, the faster Starship progresses, there will be massive new revenue streams and will lead in building out space-based AI infrastructures. For xAI, AI scales without ruining Earth, deeply integrated with everything SpaceX is building, further understanding the universe. For us humans, AI will grow without destroying the planet, and there’s a real path to becoming multi-planetary. I believe SpaceX acquiring xAI is officially the blueprint for where AI, energy, and humanity are headed. Congratulations to everyone, this is such an exciting time to be alive!

But we're taking it one step at a time. Building out the business, getting great unit economics, proving out one use case at a time." "Generation 1 of what we're building is this two-part spacecraft — satellite and pod. The satellite has all the process equipment. The pod just has the finished good. When we're done, the pod survives, but all that process equipment and everything on board burns up." "Generation 2 will be flying in 2029. Think of it as that heat shield material just envelops everything. So now the satellite plus the pod both survive. That'll probably look like a mini space plane." Elon Musk built a second internet above the first one. Nobody asked him to. Thousands of satellites orbit at 550 kilometers. Moving at 25 times the speed of sound. Talking to each other through lasers in the vacuum of space. Musk: “Thousands of satellites providing low latency, high-speed internet throughout the world.” Before Starlink, satellite internet lived at 36,000 kilometers. Geostationary orbit. Signals traveling a tenth of the way to the moon before bouncing back. The lag made it barely functional. Musk dropped the altitude by 98%. One decision rewrote the physics of an entire industry. But the altitude wasn’t the real play. Musk: “There are laser links between the satellites. It forms a laser mesh. The satellites can communicate between each other and provide connectivity even if the cables are cut.” Every internet connection you’ve ever used runs through cables. Fiber optic lines buried in soil. Dragged across ocean floors. Threaded through chokepoints that every military maps before anything else. A single anchor drop can black out a country. An earthquake can sever a continent. The entire digital world hangs from threads in the mud. Musk built a network that doesn’t touch the ground. No cables. No trenches. No ocean floor. Eric Schmidt just told Congress the number that kills the AI race on Earth: 92 gigawatts of new power, and we can’t deliver it. Former Google CEO laid out math everyone’s ignoring. Average nuclear plant: 1.5 gigawatts. AI demand: 92 gigawatts. That’s 60+ new nuclear facilities needed now, not decades from now. Schmidt: “We need 92 gigawatts more power.” Not happening. Infrastructure doesn’t exist. Approval takes years. Grid physically can’t absorb it. We’re out of electricity. Schmidt investing in Relativity Space isn’t billionaire space hobby. He spotted the bottleneck killing everything and he’s building the only exit that works. Can’t build power plants on Earth fast enough? Move compute off Earth. Schmidt: “You see the problem.” AI doesn’t hit an algorithm wall or chip shortage. It hits power ceiling. The grid can’t deliver 92 gigawatts at the speed AI development demands. Physically impossible to build that capacity terrestrially in relevant timeframes. Not a grid problem. A location problem. Next phase of compute can’t happen on the surface. Period. Heat, power draw, infrastructure limits, all of it forces migration to orbit. Only place with unlimited energy and zero conflicts is space. Schmidt: “We’re running out of electricity.” Direct assessment from someone watching what’s actually being deployed. The gap separating what AI needs and what Earth can provide is unbridgeable at required speeds. Not technical constraints. Physical reality. His aerospace play isn’t exploration. It’s escape route from a grid approaching collapse under computational demand it was never designed to handle. Scaling AI to the levels every major company is planning requires abandoning the planet. Not eventually. Now. Because the alternative is power walls that stop everything regardless of algorithmic genius or hardware breakthroughs. Doesn’t matter how perfect your models are or how many chips you fabricate if you can’t turn them on. And Earth can’t generate power fast enough for what the next five years require. Space isn’t the ambitious choice anymore. It’s the only choice avoiding hard physics limits on how fast you can deploy power generation on a regulated planetary surface. The AI race doesn’t end when someone builds superior intelligence. It ends when they can’t power it while competitors in orbit operate without energy ceilings. And that’s not distant future. That’s the constraint arriving right now that nobody building exclusively on Earth has an answer for.

The yellow diamond ring PP: He gave me the ring in the 1st day (of the concert) after the run-through. At first I thought he called me in to discuss about work. But he rather gave me a surprise. PP: He can gain that amount of money by just presenting at an event. He’s so wealthy. You see, how many car he has. He just bought a new car. 🗣️He knew that you wanted this ring. PP: I keep telling him for one and a half month that I want it. So he should get the sense, but I didn’t think that he would really buy it for me. I’ve been wanting yellow diamond for quite awhile. If it would be any colorful one, I would like to have a yellow one. I just want one that isn’t the white (clear) one. The meaning of it (yellow diamond) depends on who is the one giving it - it may mean a good love extending to each other. 🗣️He’s done his homework well. PP: I think so. We can't nitpick every single little thing about each other, right? It's more about adapting, accepting the way she is, and... we both already know we genuinely mean well for each other. There's no bad intentions, we're close. So nowadays, it's just this total sense of comfort. If it's a minor thing, we can just let it slide. But if something bigger comes up, we talk it out. We can always talk to each other. 🧡: Same here. When it comes to work, knowing that she gives her all and I give my all makes sharing ideas so easy. I feel like I can tell her anything about what I want, like, "Should we try it this way?" When it's about work, we share fully. And I really feel like we always meet halfway. "Rods from God" is the informal name for Project Thor, a concept for a space-based kinetic weapon. Instead of using explosives or nukes, you put heavy, ultra-dense tungsten rods into orbit. When you want to hit a target on Earth, you de-orbit a rod and let gravity do the work. By the time it slams into the ground at Mach 10, the kinetic energy creates an impact as powerful as a tactical nuclear warhead—crushing deep subterranean bunkers with zero radioactive fallout. This isn't a new idea either. The history goes back to the late 1950s during the Cold War, when researchers at the RAND Corporation and Boeing first calculated the physics of orbital kinetic impacts. Science fiction writer Jerry Pournelle actually helped formalize "Project Thor" while working at Boeing, pitching it as a way to strike earthbound targets from space without relying on nuclear warheads. The Air Force continued evaluating the concept over the decades, even releasing a formal study on it in 2003, meaning the foundational architecture has been sitting in defense contractor vaults for well over half a century. The X-37B is an uncrewed, reusable military spaceplane that looks like a miniature Space Shuttle. It gets launched on a rocket, stays in orbit on classified missions for years at a time executing secret payload operations, and then lands on a runway autonomously. The theory is that platforms like this could have been used to quietly deliver and park kinetic weapons in orbit under the cover of dark budget programs. Mainstream skeptics write this off immediately. Their argument comes down to numbers: the standard spec for a Rod from God calls for a solid 20-foot tungsten pole weighing 12 tons, while the X-37B's internal payload bay is only 7 feet long and carries roughly 1,000 pounds. Based on those standard specs, critics claim it is physically impossible for the spaceplane to carry those weapons, writing the whole thing off as a theoretical dead end. That rejection relies on a lazy assumption: that the weapon has to be a single, monolithic stick of metal launched all at once. In reality, modular engineering completely flips that argument. Tungsten rods can easily be built as threaded, interlocking segments or stacked modular slugs that fit inside smaller payload bays and get assembled or aligned in space. Spreading modular components across multiple long-duration X-37B missions completely bypasses those size and weight limits, meaning the capability could easily exist regardless of what official narratives claim.
