KOINONIA HIGHLIGHTS | APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN BIRTHDAY BROADCAST SERVICE On this special day, as we celebrated the gift of God’s servant to our generation, we were reminded that impact is not measure in years lived, but in purpose fulfilled. Apostle Joshua Selman poured out not just words, he issued a clarion call towards living a meaningful life: a call to live beyond self, beyond applause, and beyond mere existence. A call to live a life that counts for Jesus Christ, a life that is a blessing to those around you and echoes across nations. This was more than a birthday celebration, it was a highly prophetic moment. A father stood in grace and declared over us; the hungry came and was fed both spiritually and physically. Lives were touched with material gifts, each person who came left with a welfare package, a gift from our Father. If you ever needed a reason to live intentionally, this is it: Let your life count—for God, for destiny, and for generations to come. On behalf of God’s servant, Apostle Joshua Selman, we say THANK YOU. To everyone who joined the birthday broadcast in honour of our Father, whether online or in-person, thank you for your love, prayers, honour, gifts, and heartfelt blessings. May you carry the same fire, depth, and intimacy that Apostle Joshua Selman exemplifies and represents. You will not be left alone. Kings will stand with you. Veterans, champions, and gatekeepers will rise to support your vision, in Jesus name! HOW TO RESPOND TO PROPHETIC WORDS: ACCEPTING THE RIGHT AND REJECTING THE WRONG Not every prophetic word should be accepted. If a declaration, revelation, or prophecy is inconsistent with God’s character, reject it immediately. But if it aligns with His Word—such as blessings, promotion, or favour—the first step is to receive it by faith. How to discern a prophetic word? Ask yourself two key questions: 1. Is it consistent with God’s character? 2. Is it aligned with His will? (God’s will is revealed in Scripture and by His Spirit.) If a word contradicts God’s promises, reject it. If it aligns, enforce it in prayer. The realm of the spirit is legalistic, your emotions won’t change anything. You must respond with authority. Be careful what you say “Amen” to: not every declaration deserves agreement. If you dream of regression, death, or failure, don’t accept it and do not be passive about it—counter it with God’s Word. How to reject negative prophecies? - In the realm of the spirit, you reject or counter negative prophecies with “It is Written”. Simply saying “I reject it” is not enough. The basis of your rejection must be the Word of God. - Stop entertaining fear; don’t let fear-based thoughts take root. The enemy seeks agreement to manifest his plans. Instead, boldly declare what is written in His Word. - Declare God’s Word over your life. This is how you war with prophecy—by enforcing what is from God and rejecting what is not, using the power of His Word. START YOUR DAY LIKE THIS AND WATCH YOUR LIFE CHANGE When you wake up in the morning, declare: “This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Even if negative news comes, respond with the Word: “I do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the unseen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18) When someone offends you, refuse offense: “In the name of Jesus, I choose peace. I am a child of God. The joy of the Lord is my strength.” As you prepare for the day, prophesy over yourself: “Today, favor follows me. God loads me daily with benefits. Helpers of destiny are strategically positioned for me. I am not without help!” When challenges arise, take it to God like Hezekiah: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue. I choose life. I will live and not die, in the name of Jesus.” When fear whispers mid-flight, declare boldly: “The Prince of the power of the air has no authority here. I will arrive safely because Alpha and Omega began this journey with me, and He will finish it with me.” And when you feel confused, pray: “The wisdom of God is at work in me. I am not without strategy. I tap into the hidden wisdom of God, and His Spirit guides me into victory. I receive wisdom! I receive strategies!" This is the believer’s life. It is living by the Word, every single day. When you walk like this, your life will never remain the same.
