The rift between Omollo and ODM has grown following the Kasipul by-election where Omollo was supporting the independent candidate against the ODM Candidate. Omollo has also been grooming his elder brother who is expected to run for Homabay Governor in 2027 on UDA ticket, with the current Deputy Governor as his running mate. Following the death of Raila and with Oburu under his tight control, Ruto has accelerated his takeover of Luo Nyanza, buying politicians, bloggers, etc using PS Omollo. The Luo politicians who have refused to kowtow have been threatened that they will be rigged out in 2027 and there is nothing they will do about it.

If you want to know all these people are just playing with your minds look, Babu isn’t he a member of parliament, Ndindi Nyoro isn’t he a member of parliament, kina Mathu and the rest who are elected to represent the people and protect the people in parliament. But instead they are talking as if it’s not them with the power to pass motions and impeach anyone who does not serve the interests of the people. Watu si wajinga buaaaana. This is a video when parliament was doing exactly that, kicking out people like Raymond Omollo.

It's chaos. Fatuma Full Network nearly climbing on Oburu's shoulders to help him speak! On either side of Oburu, Abdulswamad, Wanga and at least three other people, are all shouting instructions at the Party Leader. One of them can be heard on the mic shouting "Wach awacha!" Meaning "Just speak!" Oburu himself appears dazed by all the instructions from everywhere around him, including from the crowd. All this at a function where the theme, quite ironically, was "Oburu must be respected". Why are they doing that? Why are they treating Oburu like a toddler just learning to speak? Why aren't they sure he can address a rally on his own, in Kibra of all places? I won't even ask if they would ever do that to Raila, because broad-based crackheads will say "there will always be only one Raila Odinga and his shoes are too big to be filled". Fair enough. Would they do this to Anyang' Nyong'o? Heck, would they do this to Otis Jakanjira Chumbi Nyiri, if he was Party Leader? What does this say about how this transactional faction of ODM views Oburu? Sad.

Been playing Hell is Us for the past few days (thanks Nacon) and really enjoying it! Check it out if you like organic exploration and lots of puzzle solving.
