A pilot doesn’t have to explain why he went around. A pilot has to explain why he attempted to land when something wasn’t right.

Korean 017 heavy state reason for go-around Reasons Sir Thank you, maintain 2,000

The fact that you call this a last second go around and all of your fellow friends are just looking for an incident says it all about you.

We cover all aspects of aviation, from the routine to the unexpected. A go-around is simply part of that story.

You sit at the end of the runway waiting for mistakes and don’t do what we do, it’s beyond infuriating when you label things for clicks and likes. This is our lifes work, you’re just watching and commenting.

Respectfully, our coverage isn’t about looking for errors, it’s about showcasing the reality and skill that go into aviation every single day. We’re fans of the industry and supporters of everyone who makes it work safely and professionally.

I absolutely love the videos and good or bad covering them the same. Just know there are people in the front commanding the go around’s and no one takes it lightly.

Literally not last second

“If it’s not right, go around. It’s better to explain why you did it than for others to find out why you didn’t.” Good guide?

Approach became unstabilised. Hence, go around 🤷♀️

I saw the flight crew exiting and they were all smiles. I should have asked them about it. I probably would not have gotten an answer.

Right aileron introduced a roll followed by the skipper calling go around … fo flying

That’s not last second. I’ve skimmed across the tarmac before a go-around

"Last second" ... more clickbait. You can be on the runway and go-around as long as you have not initiated reverse thrust. Please stop sensationalizing normal procedures.

That wasn‘t last second !

Someone pressed the TOGA button, on a deeply technical level.

Choice to Crash or try again. I choose to try again.

why?

A lot of wired things happens at LAX for the last few months, I think something is about to unfold in terms of aviation there, hope I’m wrong.

we have go-arounds at SNA once or twice a month

LAX has a wind shear alert system - Perhaps that’s why.

What happened to make that Korean Air Flight 17, have to do a dangerous last-second go-around?

So, why?

I had an abort at LAX almost identical to this year's ago. Doeanr look like much feom the camera but its pretty crazy when your in the plane and don't know why the abort is occurring

Used to work at Heathrow and whilst crossing the bridge near to Hatton Cross station, a JAL 747 started a go around whilst landing on 27L. Never hear a noise like it. Seen a few touch-and-goes in my time.

As opposed to a planned go around?

I wonder why it was a go around @grok ? I see it rolling a little?

Is that an 800?

Last second? Are there planned go-around?

Pepsi Air

unfinished business

I hate when I’m on a plane and that happens

I've been on a flight to LAX that did the same. That did not make the news. No big deal.

Jika kurang yakin jangan coba² memaksakan diri atau menyepelekan kondisional yg kurang menguntungkan. Kecerdasan emosional yg situasional sangat menjaga kelestarian hidup yg adaptif. 🇮🇩

Last second is really when the back wheels have touched the runway and you go back up!

@grok any scope dope on why he decided to go around?
