Many Pakistanis are attacking and mocking their own people for celebrating Basant, a Hindu festival. In my opinion, there should be no shame in acknowledging your Hindu heritage. In fact, you should be proud to come from one of the oldest religions in the world. The shame lies in denying history out of insecurity. Hindu culture shaped the subcontinent for thousands of years, including the land that is now Pakistan.

Director Hardik Gajjar said the film Krishnavataram is based on history, not mythology, and aims to pass cultural and religious heritage to future generations.
