We reinspected ongoing works on the Outer Kumasi Ring Road. The project cuts through Atia, Juaben, Effiduase, Asonomaso, Tanodumase, Kwabre, Bouho and several other major municipalities and districts, creating an important orbital route around the Garden City of Kumasi. This project is distinct from the Kumasi Expressway. The Outer Ring Road is designed to improve connectivity, decongest the city and open up new opportunities for communities along the corridor. We remain committed to delivering the infrastructure needed to transform Ashanti Region and Ghana. JM for a Reason! 🇬🇭 #BigPush

More than 37 traders dealing in explosives are vacating their shops at the Kejetia Market in Kumasi, following a directive by the Metropolitan Assembly banning the sale of combustible materials within the market. With the Kumasi Mayor leading this charge, several shops were shut down Sunday night. An enforcement team has ordered affected traders to remove their stock and relocate to the Racecourse Market. The ban targets the sale of carbide, petrol, acid, gas and other highly inflammable substances previously sold dangerously close to densely populated sections of the market. #JoyNews
