That’s a brilliant one from Afod. Albeit, it’s not ati kekere lati pa eka iroko, it’s ati kekere lati pa ‘Ekan’ iroko. It’s an asipa owe. Eka is branch and Ekan is root. A little iroko tree does not have branch but root tap in the soil.

This is quite interesting. I like how Alapini also got some prize money too. I was rooting for that to happen. Lalude's proverbs were very deep and uncommon. Man is rooted in Yoruba language.

I can’t explain it, but there’s something really pleasing about the Yoruba Language. When spoken with the right intonation, it commands depth. Also, the interpretation of the proverbs are interesting. “The length of a trouser can never be longer than it is even if you slap it”
