I worked from home. Only difference was, not wasting hours commuting to the office to do exactly what I was doing at home.

What is it with people's obsession with working from home? We have bigger issues than this in oit country. Leave the decision to the employer and employee. If you don't like working from, then don't. But stop telling other people and employers what to do ffs!

I have worked from home for over 12 years. No issues, I work in a commercial sales role. My wife works hybrid, 2 or 3 days at home. She is a lawyer & is more productive at home, starts earlier, finishes later, less distractions. Work from home = work.

if you work mostly on a computer theres no reason to waste 1 to 3hrs every day commuting - it's simply inefficient. instead companies should organise (flexible) office days when coming physically together makes most sense.

Before Covid companies said "it's impossible to WFH" Covid hits and all of a sudden it turns out to be easy, allows more people into the workplace, reduces pressure on the commute, people work better because they're not getting up at 6am and all the work got done.

What it’s done is lost office owners a big chunk of rent and they are pissed. 🙄🤦

If Matthew Parris doesn’t do any of the things that he’s suggesting other WFH people need to do, then how does he know they need to back in the office?

Im currently hybrid between office and home and I get far less done in the office as people are constantly pestering me at my desk. There are certainly times where being in the office is useful and that's the beautiful of being hybrid.
