One of the biggest differences between the book and The Return of the King is the Mouth of Sauron. In Tolkien’s book, the Mouth of Sauron isn’t a monstrous creature with a grotesque face. He’s a Black Númenórean - a descendant of the King’s Men of Númenor, the same people who fell under Sauron’s influence during the Second Age. He entered Sauron’s service while he was still young and eventually became the Dark Lord’s most trusted lieutenant. By the time of the War of the Ring, he had forgotten his own name. Sauron gave him a new identity: the Mouth of Sauron, because he spoke with his master’s authority and served as his chief emissary. When Aragorn and the Captains of the West arrive at the Black Gate, the Mouth of Sauron rides out under a flag of truce. Instead of fighting, he tries to break their spirit. He presents Frodo’s mithril shirt, Sam’s sword, and other belongings as “proof” that the Ring-bearer has been captured, hoping they’ll abandon all hope before the battle even begins. Peter Jackson kept the basic idea of the scene but completely redesigned the character. In the film, he’s portrayed as a hideously deformed figure with an oversized mouth, making him look more like a monster than a Black Númenórean. The movie also has Aragorn kill him on the spot, something that never happens in the book. In Tolkien’s version, the Mouth of Sauron survives the encounter and retreats behind the Black Gate after Gandalf exposes his lies and rejects Sauron’s terms.

Aragorn vs Sauron Unreleased scene. ⚔️ In the original plan for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, the final battle at the Black Gate was supposed to feature a one-on-one duel between Aragorn and Sauron. Although the scene was filmed and visual effects work had begun, director Peter Jackson cut it from the final edit because he felt it would overshadow the true focus of the story: Frodo and Sam’s mission. Peter Jackson and the crew felt that Aragorn defeating or holding his own against Sauron in a duel would diminish the terror of Sauron’s power as a Maia. They ultimately decided that the victory should come through the destruction of the Ring, Frodo and Sam's achievement. Rather than a traditional hero's duel. Details of the Scene and the Changes The Appearance of Annatar: In the deleted scene, Sauron first appears in a flash of light as "Annatar" (his fair form), which he used to deceive the Elves during the Second Age. Transformation and Combat: When Aragorn rejects the illusion, Sauron transforms into his armored form (seen at the beginning of The Fellowship of the Ring), and a fierce sword fight ensues. Replacement with a Troll: Once the scene was cut, the existing footage was digitally altered. In the finished movie, the famous sequence where Aragorn struggles and is nearly defeated by an Armored Troll (Olog-hai) is actually the Sauron fight with a digital troll layered over Sauron’s character. Symbolic Strike: Aragorn stabbing the Troll's foot was originally designed as a symbolic blow meant to weaken Sauron’s physical form.

#WATCH | Delhi | Judge dies by suicide in Safdarjung | Father-in-law of Judge Aman Kumar Sharma's sister says, "... I spoke to my son on the call who told me that they are taking Aman to Safdarjung Hospital. By the time I reached the hospital, the doctor had already declared him dead... As per the statement given by his father to the Police, around 10 pm last night, Aman had called him saying that he was distressed and it had become difficult for him to continue living. His father departed from Alwar right then and reached here around 12 in the night. Upon arriving, he learned that Aman had been having conflicts with his wife. He told his father that he had been harassed for the last two months. His wife (Swati) is a judicial officer, and her sister is an IAS officer (Nidhi Malik) currently posted in Jammu. When he went to check up on them after some time, he asked Swati about Aman's whereabouts, to which she replied that she did not know. .. When he called Aman's mobile, he heard it ringing inside the bathroom. He knocked on the bathroom door and asked him to open the door. During this, Yudhvir (Swati's chacha) and Nidhi Malik arrived. They tried a lot, banged the furniture against the door, but the door didn't open. Then the neighbours told them that there was a window in the shaft. So they got a ladder.
