In winter, Lake Baikal in southern Siberia freezes with ice more than a metre thick and so clear you can see deep below. As temperatures change, pressure builds and the ice fractures with deep booming cracks, forming huge fault-like lines that can stretch for tens of kilometres along the shore. This is Wrecktangle Pizza’s location at Lake & Lyndale. ICE tried to raid them a few weeks ago because they were fundraising for immigrant neighbors in need. The attempted raid didn’t go well for ICE and the tear gas they deployed got kicked right back under their SUV.

There's a UFO still under this lake in Sweden! In 1980, two witnesses near Lake Nammajaure in northern Sweden, just inside the Arctic Circle, watched an object fly below 100 meters, execute a full 180-degree turn, and splash land directly into the lake. Bubbles rose to the surface. Then it was gone. They pulled out a camera and photographed the site two minutes after impact. Decades later, Clas Svahn, the head of the world's largest UFO archive, led an expedition to the lake with divers, sonar, and ground-penetrating radar. Their expert said if something was there, it wouldn't be on the lake bottom. It would be embedded in the mud, roughly two meters down. That is exactly where they got a return. An object. Still sitting there. The problem? The lake is inside a protected national park. Even if they find it, they're not allowed to bring anything out. Clas and his team are going back next year with 3D imaging to get a better look. This is one of the best physically verifiable UFO cases in the world and almost nobody is talking about it. I had to say goodbye to my furbaby on Friday. In her last hours, we took a Jeep ride, went to the lake, and then got ice cream. It has been a long time since I cried so hard. She has been a huge blessing in my life.
