Lambda started out in 2012 as a face rec company. It’s the year when AlexNet came out. I cloned the cuda-convnet repository and It sent me down a rabbit hole of training CNNs, autoencoders, RNNs, and more. I built my first GPU workstation and fell in love with the technology.
