I landed in Gander in a Douglas DC-8 a bit more than 20 years ago. The visibility was great but one of our 4 engines had died when we were still above the Atlantic Ocean. I was glad Gander was there, not too far from the Ocean.

We did almost exactly this dropping into McMinnville, OR on the second try. Always fun when my boss/pilot has me doing the "tell me when you see it" So fun! This looked rad!
