Language barrier was a major issue here. He was probably scared that if he didn’t have his documents with him, he might not be able to prove he’s here lawfully. Rather unfortunate situation that quickly got out of hand.

No need to pull the man out the car to begin with and def no reason to place him in the back of your squad car smh. If he is speeding then give him a ticket if he had his documents. The entire situation was stupid! Cop should have given him a ticket for the traffic infraction. If he felt he was under the influence, say so! By not saying why,you are escalating the traffic stop!

I could tell halfway through the video he was worried cuz he thought the cop was taking him somewhere by putting him in his car. If cops would just slow down and try to understand it's not that hard the guy has enough English to figure it out and tell him so that he understands. Cops are way too aggressive. Besides that he had no reason to take the guy out of his car.

Sometimes people speaks English are so ignorant they don’t care if you don’t understand their language! I speak English and I know how hard it is to come across someone who doesn’t speak English same way someone who doesn’t understand another language! Simple explanation could solve this!

Dude insisted on getting his documents, because if he gets taken away, he wouldn’t have any thing to show that he is legal. Infact he could end up with ICE, does anyone think ICE will go the extra mile to get his documentation? He will be deported because his word means nothing.

I don’t care how this may come across to some, but we need to shut the fucking borders down in the country and increase the vetting process. If you come to this country you need to learn the language first and foremost. It should be a fundamental requirement. The issue with migration is that there are a large number of those that come here that simply have no desire to assimilate. Why should police officers have to do mental gymnastics with simple communication when they pull someone over. Even with the language barrier you could tell he just didn’t want to comply. Being scared is no excuse or defense. That does not give you the right to fight with the police.

Cop’s IQ is very low and his reading of the situation is completely off. This cop needs to be a laborer at a building site, not working any job that requires discernment. He was dealing with someone with 1) low IQ(just like him) 2) doesn’t fully understand the language. He needed not escalate the situation by giving complicated English commands and his unusual commands of putting someone in the back of his car for overtaking. Also, why didn’t he just let him take his documents/wallet and avert all the talking to someone who clearly can’t understand the language?
