Arkansas truck driver says he was stopped at a weigh station & handed a paper asking, “Can you read & write English?” He says he was forced to complete a written test on the spot & saw others being handcuffed for not speaking English. He also says trucking companies are now being threatened with fines—& even arrests—for hiring non-English-speaking drivers. I hope this is true. Not being able to read road signs written in English is a safety issue.

So the good Judge came to Court. He said that the judgment was typed, in his computer, he could not print it for “obvious reasons” and that he would only read the summary. The summary was hand written and he proceeded to read it with off cuff remarks. Never seen this before.
