@paulredmond I’m thinking I would like the config files

I spend most of my time working with WordPress but whenever I can or the situation warrants it, I develop with Laravel. It's a great framework, which I would like to use more. Very nice your video, by the way. The config simplification is a good thing. I like it.

Oohh baby. Lets Go.

I guess that's cool but I've never had an issue with them being in the way or cluttering up anything. I'd sometimes will refer to them though so I think I'd prefer to keep them.

Lumen has been doing this since version 5 😉

I need to read them, not edit them. This doesn't make any sense

Awesome. Do you have a link for more info?

Except direct from laravel devs... Please keep the config file in app directory...

Let the chaos begin 🔥🔥

Probably a step in the right direction. Most of those config files were literally just middle men converting .env values into separated arrays.
