I wanted to see how many times Arraez has looked at a pitch down the middle on first pitches this year and the count has been 33. I also looked at his first pitch career numbers and he has gotten bad results even when he does swing. Overall though this feels like a bad strategy to stare at hittable pitches and give the pitcher a free strike. You’re making their jobs easier.
