Scott and I took some time for a little self-care yesterday at J. Lynn Skin, and let’s just say—it was eye-opening! We both got laser treatments to improve our skin health. J. Lynn Skin used a machine to analyze the age of our skin, and let’s just say… we weren’t thrilled to find out that our skin is actually older than our real ages. Years of sun-worshipping and life’s wear and tear have definitely left their mark. I opted for the Moxi Laser—a more treatment designed to improve skin texture, repair sun damage (thanks to my younger self who thought sunscreen was optional), and reduce fine lines. It’s known for being a milder option with minimal discomfort and a recovery time of about 7-10 days. Scott went for the heavy-hitter! He got the TRL Laser Treatment around his eyes to target under-eye bags and deeper wrinkles, paired with the Moxi on the rest of his face to tackle stubborn sunspots. It’s a more intense treatment but perfect for deeper issues. His recovery is also about 7-10 days. Why are we sharing this? Because skin health is so much more than just looking good. It’s about feeling confident and taking care of ourselves from the inside out. And while we can’t turn back time, we can definitely help our skin age a little more gracefully. This was also a good reminder for us to protect our skin with sunblock, hats and sunglasses! We’re excited to see the results over the next week and will keep you posted on our progress. Huge thanks to J. Lynn Skin for helping us take this step towards healthier, more vibrant skin! Have you ever had a skin age analysis? Trust me, it’s eye-opening—and might just be the push you need to start prioritizing your skin health too! #SkinHealth #MoxiLaser #TRLLaser #AntiAging #SunDamageRepair #SelfCareJourney #JLynnSkin #LaserTreatment #AgingGracefully #CouplesThatGlowTogether

Kidney stones are hard deposits made of minerals and salts. While smaller stones often pass naturally through hydration, larger or more stubborn stones require medical intervention to be cleared. Here are the 4 primary methods used by doctors: 1. Shock Wave Lithotripsy (SWL): This is the most common non-invasive treatment. A machine uses high-energy sound waves (shock waves) to create strong vibrations. These vibrations break the large stone into tiny "dust" or sand-like pieces that can then be passed through urine. 2. Ureteroscopy: For stones located in the ureter or kidney, a doctor may use a thin, flexible scope. The scope is passed through the bladder and up into the ureter. Once the stone is located, it is either captured in a small "basket" and removed or broken apart using a laser so the fragments can pass later. 3. Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL): This is typically reserved for very large or complex stones. A small incision is made in the patient's back to reach the kidney directly. A nephroscope is then used to locate and remove the stone, often using ultrasonic or laser energy to break it up first. 4. Natural Passage: For stones smaller than 5mm, the most common "removal" method is simply waiting. This requires high fluid intake (water) and often medication (like alpha-blockers) to help relax the muscles in the ureter, allowing the stone to pass with less pain. ⚠️ Note: If you are experiencing severe pain, nausea, or fever, it is important to consult a healthcare professional immediately, as these can be signs of a blockage or infection. Educational purpose only .😊

Many of you might think face wash is just…face wash. We use it to clean the dirt and grime from our daily lives. Some take it seriously while others just use it as a checklist of hygiene. I am sorry, but your understanding of supplements for hair and skin health is quite wrong. 1/ Multivitamins for health promotion is the biggest myth there is. A multivitamin a day improves health is a promotional gimmick from the wellness industry, health-illiterate influencers and poorly informed doctors. Daily multivitamins give you high-colored expensive urine and long term use increases risk of cancer. See here: 2/ Probiotics are sham treatments except in specific situations. See the WGO 2023 guidelines here: Its use is specific to: ➡️Prevention of antibiotic associated diarrhea. ➡️Shortening duration of acute infectious diarrhea in children by 1 day when given early during course of disease. ➡️Useful for treating "pouchitis" of inflammatory bowel disease. ➡️Reduction in risk of necrotizing enterocolitis in preterm babies. ➡️Using probiotics outside these indications is a waste of your money and time. 3/ Ginseng has no known benefits on the prevention or treatment of any disease condition known to humans. Many of the published randomized controlled trials on Asian ginseng may not be high-quality studies. Ginseng can also interact with your standard medicines and increase toxicity or reduce benefits. See here please: 4/ Omega-3 fatty acids. The only use identified from large quality studies and metanalysis is for treatment of high triglycerides and lowering of non-HDL lipid fractions. Please see this highest quality of evidence: Omega-3 does nothing as mentioned in the video. 5/ Collagen for wrinkles and fine lines, prevention of "aging" and improving "skin health" is actually a myth. Large metanalysis from 2021 showed improvement in skin elasticity and reduction in wrinkles. This one here: But, this metanalysis was done poorly. A rebuttal letter showed that conclusive benefits of collagen on skin health did not actually exist when reanalysed from proper statistical methodology - see here: Collagen will waste your money. 6/ Biotin for hair and nails. I am sorry to burst your bubble, because I know many of you are on this supplement, but it does not work. It is a waste of money. The American Academy of Dermatology Association states that biotin supplementation has no benefits on hair growth/loss or nail health. See here: Moreover, a recent review does not even mention biotin being useful in hair loss. See here: Instagram is full of these overgrown Amul-babies who have absolutely no idea about the science of healthcare or value the role of empirical evidence in advising healthcare options. Do not fall for such people or their garbage handles. And frankly, I think the guy in the video has just about average hair and skin. Not worthy of second-looks even with all that bottled stuff going in.

Nobody ever fixed their skin or healed their joints with expensive creams and supplements. Let that sink in. For decades they have been shoving the same lie down our throats: "You need chemical lotions for your skin and painkillers for your joints." It is complete bullshit. Your skin and your joints are built from the exact same protein: collagen. You cannot fix internal structural damage with external chemicals. there are two things destroying your collagen right now. Seed oils (industrial lubricants). They incorporate into your cell membranes and literally oxidize. This causes age spots, wrinkles, and chronic joint inflammation. Processed sugar (carbs). Sugar binds to proteins in your bloodstream. It destroys the collagen and elastin that keep your joints lubricated and your skin tight. I lived with joint pain for years from competitive tennis. Now I haven't taken a single painkiller or used a single skincare product in 5 years. I just eat pure animal collagen and fat (like the bone broth jelly and beef patties in this video). I spend hours playing intense beach volleyball in the brutal sun with zero joint pain, zero sunburns, and perfect skin. drop the expensive chemicals and supplements. simply remove seed oils and processed sugar. prioritize fatty animal protein, natural collagen, and real whole foods. Your joint pain will disappear. Your skin inflammation will vanish. Your body will rebuild itself from the inside out. Run the experiment yourself. Most people are too scared to throw away their pills and lotions. The ones who actually do... never go back. Be honest: how much money have you wasted on skincare and joint supplements that did absolutely nothing? Beef. Eggs. Salt. Water. 🥩

You Can Heal Yourself With Nature Movement - By moving our body we give strength to our muscles, promote blood flow and lymphatic flow enhancing the delivery of nutrients and the removal of waste products. We also create a piezoelectric effect that energises the system. Breathing - The delivery of air into the body through intentional conscious breathing is one of the most powerful modalities for nervous system renewal, mental peace and the delivery of oxygen to the body and the removal of carbonic acid buildup from the system Sunshine - It’s my belief that the more sunlight we absorb without sunscreen, the healthier we will become. A tan looks good because it is healthy and every part of your body thrives when sunlight touches it delivering blood flow as well as a high frequency and energy Grounding - Existing in connection with the earth’s electrical fields resets everything about our energy, reduces inflammation and promotes the movement of proper channels such as detox - it’s a fantastic practice to be connected to nature. Green light - When sunlight moves through trees and leaves we receive Green light by which is very healing and high in near infrared light, in fact it is one of the most healing modalities to absorb in your skin particularly if you have any abrasions or wounds - even more powerful than red light . Fresh air - The first nutrient, having fresh air that is rich in oxygen is absolutely imperative to health and you should always have all of your windows open in the house if possible when not outside. Positive thinking - Whatever you think, shall become and having and cultivating a positive mindset that intentionally brings you positive energy is one of the cornerstones to great health. You can think yourself into sickness and you can think yourself into health so choose to view the world in a positive light and so it’ll be for you.
