Last night I built and deployed a live visualisation of Cardano. It now shows SPO block production in real time. You can SPO's minting blocks as they happen, with an approximate geographic view, current live stake, pool logo, mission description and search, stake amount and more. I will extend... it as and when I get more time. No one is funding this. It is built in my own time, and funded by myself, because I wanted to showcase Cardano and it's SPO's visually in how they run a global decentralized blockchain from all corners of the world, whilst allowing users more visibility over researching SPO's. Visualising how far Cardano has come. What you are seeing here is live on chain DEX activity as the chain syncs over the last hour. Real swaps, real transactions, and the resulting liquidity changes unfolding in real time. No simulations, no replays. Just the ledger behaving as specified, and me reading it directly. I also built a DEX battle view, showing swap activity across the DEXs I track over the same period. It makes something very clear. Competition on Cardano is real. Liquidity competes, routing competes, and execution quality matters. Watching DEXs contend for flow is a good signal that the network is being actively used. I have upgraded my arbitrage dashboard to pull swap execution, pool state changes, monitoring, and analytics into one place. Cardano’s determinism matters here. Every state transition I can predict, they are traceable, and verifiable. That is what makes this kind of application straightforward to build and reliable to operate over time. It is an extremely valuable architectural decision that Cardano gives to builders, and one that continues to pay dividends as systems scale and complexity increases. (Apologies on the other DEX's, I have these integrated but also some pending changes on an upgrade I am doing and not yet finishes so didn't want to include without reliable results) Please comment thoughts, I wanted to share behind the scenes on what is happening across Cardano.

The animation simulates real-time connections between relays, visually demonstrating how they interact within the network. A total of 2,516 relays responded, creating a dynamic and detailed visualization of Cardano's global infrastructure. Building on this, I incorporated Solana validator data from sources like which includes 1,376 validators distributed across 42 data centers. This allowed me to plot Solana’s data center groups on the globe, providing a clear comparison. The visual representation emphasizes how globally decentralized Cardano is and its actually really inspiring to watch, operating on a truly international scale. Since block producers are typically located close to at least one of a stake pool's relays to minimize latency, this visualization offers an accurate depiction of the network’s global reach. How does Cardano work? What is its consensus mechanism? Cardano Community uses a uniquely energy-efficient, peer-reviewed Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Ouroboros. Instead of relying on energy-intensive mining hardware, Ouroboros selects validators (known as slot leaders) to create new blocks based on the amount of cryptocurrency (ADA) they hold and stake in the network. Waves Studio, a design company, and I were discussing how there aren't many short, informative videos out there explaining basic concepts for new users anymore. So we got to work, and from time to time we'll be releasing one. Watch the video and let us know what you think.

Attendance was down AND I didn't get the coveted Charles Hoskinson selfie at this year's @NFTxLV. But here's why it doesn't bother me one bit: The only thing better than a conversation with Charles is a conversation with friends. I met some of you for the first time, like @j_moyns, Demosthenes, Squashua 🍩, VivaLaCoin, @cashpognft, and Goofycrisp, to only name a few. I wouldn't still be here if it wasn't for the Cardano community. Seeing web3innovationnerds and Charles show up for the NFT space was another highlight. Not only did they attend, but they also showed up financially as sponsors. They wanted this event to happen just as much as we did. Say what you will about what can be improved, but this is what supporting the community looks like. I loved the vibe. It was professional and organized without feeling sterile and serious. It reminded me more of a great community farmers market. Lower attendance meant that founders could have more meaningful conversations. It was less overwhelming and felt more personal. This is what makes Cardano unique in the first place and something we should lean into. NFTxLV doesn't have to be a smaller version of every other crypto conference. I had great conversations with 25 projects in 1 day, from well-established ones like cornucopias and CHERI BOTHA to exciting newcomers like @rflxt, Grabb.it, and WayUp. Massive thanks to everyone who took the time to chat. Was the conference perfect? No. Can we do a better job of bringing people in from outside the Cardano bubble? Yes. More on that in a video later this week. But just like last year, I left Vegas feeling re-energized and excited about our space. It reminded me that what we do creates real value for real people. You are too obsessed with new customers. I know, I know. Sacrilegious. But the more time I spend around large brands the more insane I think it is that they are excluding people who haven't bought from the brand in years from seeing ads. CUSTOMERS DON'T BELONG TO YOU. You aren't as SAAS business. They have no ongoing obligation to purchase. They must be sold over and over again. And your next most incremental ad impression is likely to one of those people you are currently excluding. Additionally, at some point the marginal acquisition of the next customer on your current offer is NOT PROFITABLE. I feel complicit in this problem we pushed aMER and cohort modeling etc. and it can still be very useful. But I think we have swung the pendulum too far and it is time to recalibrate.

✨ Okay I ended up calling it [ ⚡️ HYPER REALISM ] I deployed it to all Photo AI subscribers now! ⏰ 12 hours from me FAFO'ing to live feature (I also had to sleep 8 hours so actually 4 hours work) You can enable it with one toggle in bottom left (made with Claude Code and a nice Google font and a nice shakey transition), and it costs 5 credits instead of 1, because it's a lot more expensive to run But the photos are much much MUCH more realistic! I think the most realistic AI photos you can get in the entire world right now but I'm biased 😂 I hope you like it and let me know what you think 😊

my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind

KIDS: When you lose the puck, how hard are you willing to work to get it back? As a coach, I want you to make plays. I want you to be creative. I want you to play with no fear of making mistakes. The only stipulation I have is that when you try to make a play and you turn it over, you have to work like hell to get it back. Here's a great example from a team that MAKES A LOT OF PLAYS. Tampa turns it over in the Ozone and then watch the effort from the players to get it back. Hounds. They create another turnover and then get rewarded in transition. Coaches, amazing clip to show your teams!!

Contributing to Cardano on chain activity via a set of strategy bots, mainly DEX arbitrage. They’ve been running for a long time, but this is a snapshot from the last few minutes. Everything is self built. Strategy logic, execution, monitoring, and the underlying tooling, all written specifically for Cardano. I don’t usually share what I work on in the evenings but thought it could be interesting and spark innovation, it's been over a few years now actually, it has cool things like dynamic pool discovery, token discovery, and a tonne of events like Liquidity Pool creation, it tracks every single batcher transaction and I have price calculations across most DEX's, mempool monitoring etc
