Visualising how far Cardano has come. What you are seeing here is live on chain DEX activity as the chain syncs over the last hour. Real swaps, real transactions, and the resulting liquidity changes unfolding in real time. No simulations, no replays. Just the ledger behaving as specified, and...

I have been building a visualisation platform that maps activity across Cardano. The objective is simple. Transparency. When information is clear and accessible it strengthens the entire ecosystem. The platform is already showing how powerful that visibility can be and it continues to improve as more data is integrated. I have successfully traced the direction of genesis funds across the blockchain end to end. The focus of the work however has increasingly turned toward Emurgo and will continue to target Emurgo.. Whether I release the tool publicly is still something I am considering carefully. In the past I built AI systems over Cardano data and chose not to release them. The reason was simple. I did not want something powerful to be turned into a weapon that hunts for minor negatives inside what is otherwise one of the most important technological and innovative blockchains built in this space, and a result of years of hard work. I have no interest in fuelling drama. My intention has always been to present Cardano for what it actually is. A blockchain built through years of research and engineering, driven by the founding entities IOHK and the Cardano Foundation, and supported by people who genuinely care about the system including Charles and many others who have given years of effort to build it. That remains true regardless of some recent comments directed toward me in spaces. Those were disappointing, and did actually upset me being completely honest, also they missed the wider context of what I have been doing and I feel discounted my care for Cardano. However transparency works both ways. I will not ignore behaviour that undermines the principles Cardano governance is supposed to protect. Emurgo, a founding entity, is accumulating a rapidly increasing share of voting power through Yoroi DRep delegations. Many users appear completely unaware that this is happening. The interface suggests things along the lines of gaining rewards by delegating voting power to Yoroi as a DRep. What many users do not realise is that they are delegating governance influence directly to the same organisation that operates the wallet ,and worst still think they need to delegate to Yoroi to get their ADA rewards! I have received countless direct messages from affected users who did not understand what they had delegated. In several cases language barriers appear to make the situation worse, particularly for users outside the English speaking community. At present Yoroi and Emurgo, which are effectively the same entity in this context, represent roughly 17 percent of all voting power. That share is rising quickly. Based on the recent rate of growth it is not unreasonable to see this exceeding 50 percent within a few years if nothing changes. Governance concentration on that scale is not healthy for a system designed around distributed decision making. Cardano’s credibility depends on users understanding where their voting power sits and being able to move it freely to representatives who actually reflect their interests. The goal of the platform was never to show how much a founding entity spent or to cause drama. The goal was to show the decisions a founding entity made and how those decisions shaped the blockchain in an era of governance

Attendance was down AND I didn't get the coveted Charles Hoskinson selfie at this year's @NFTxLV. But here's why it doesn't bother me one bit: The only thing better than a conversation with Charles is a conversation with friends. I met some of you for the first time, like @j_moyns, Demosthenes, Squashua 🍩, VivaLaCoin, @cashpognft, and Goofycrisp, to only name a few. I wouldn't still be here if it wasn't for the Cardano community. Seeing web3innovationnerds and Charles show up for the NFT space was another highlight. Not only did they attend, but they also showed up financially as sponsors. They wanted this event to happen just as much as we did. Say what you will about what can be improved, but this is what supporting the community looks like. I loved the vibe. It was professional and organized without feeling sterile and serious. It reminded me more of a great community farmers market. Lower attendance meant that founders could have more meaningful conversations. It was less overwhelming and felt more personal. This is what makes Cardano unique in the first place and something we should lean into. NFTxLV doesn't have to be a smaller version of every other crypto conference. I had great conversations with 25 projects in 1 day, from well-established ones like cornucopias and CHERI BOTHA to exciting newcomers like @rflxt, Grabb.it, and WayUp. Massive thanks to everyone who took the time to chat. Was the conference perfect? No. Can we do a better job of bringing people in from outside the Cardano bubble? Yes. More on that in a video later this week. But just like last year, I left Vegas feeling re-energized and excited about our space. It reminded me that what we do creates real value for real people. See you in 2024. (Shoutout to HOLD for that banger of a song)

Q: It must be complicated, when I listen to you, to have a private life, somebody to understand your passion and to share this moment. Lewis: "It really is, especially I would say more so today than ever before, which is the way the world is, you know. I look at the other drivers and I wonder how they're doing it. You know, some are having kids and some married, some, you know, most of them girlfriends. I did that when I was in my 20s, but I took a decision to really to maximize my time that I have here because it's not as long as you think and it's limited, you know. And I don't want to look back and be like, ah, if I just gave a little bit more here, I didn't sacrifice my time because I was committed elsewhere." "So I really focused in these last, you know, particularly these last 10 years, like get everything I can out of my performance. Then when I retire, then I can do whatever I want. You know, I can dedicate my time to whatever else it is and not have to worry." "But in this competition time, focus on health, well-being, my mental health, my driving technique, being as good an engineer as I can be, and also being the best teammate that I can potentially be for the guys that I get to work with. That's my sole focus. You know, I want to win." "I've been fortunate enough to win with great teams in the past. Particularly, obviously, with Mercedes and with McLaren, which was incredible. And my dream is to win a championship with Ferrari." "And that's something that hasn't been done for a while. But they have absolutely every ingredient that's needed to win. It's just like getting all the pieces of the puzzle in the right place. And that's what I'm trying to work on in the background with Fred and the whole team." [📹 VIGNERON GAETAN]

This is where I have to share my raw feelings about Rivian software currently on R1. The software experience they have created is good. It’s their own, with their software stack that they control. With that said, we have to stop making excuses for longstanding bugs. Like Quinn Nelson had posted about long ago, having to do multiple Resets, logins and out to get core functionality to work is not the experience we should be having. I know Rivian and Wassym do not want this. I also know they are working on R2 stuff as well. As a person who has spent real money on 4 Rivian’s with 3 R2 reservation between me and hubby, we are huge fans. Have helped many become Rivian owners as well. But the long outstanding bugs are starting to boil over. It’s dragging the software reliability down. Apple Music has been in Rivian vehicles for just about 2 years now. We are past the stage of it being “new”. Spatial Audio is a key music feature, and for me, and plenty of others, you have to turn that off sometimes just to get music to play. I shouldn’t have to do that. Plus, you can’t change that feature while the vehicle is in drive. So then you have to pull over and fiddle with it just to get it work and sometimes it doesn’t. Rivian assistant can’t do it either. Among other issues, like HVAC preconditioning, unstable cabin temps, GPS locking issues, profile switching not getting right or switching profile after the driver has gotten in, mobile app live activities not functioning properly, and more. The live activities is important, because we don’t have a notification for charging start stop/complete except for charging complete on DCFC, so on a level 2 charger, I don’t know if there is an issue with charging if the live activities don’t appear. Same for HVAC if it’s not showing up I have to keep opening the app to check to see what the temperature is. If you aren’t going to push me a notification that the cabin is at the temp I selected in favor of the live activities, then the live activities has to work. I could go on, but I really love my Rivian. I love the brand, I love what they want to do. And I think R2 is going to change the market for most things, but I want their focus to be on software and stability. Focus on polish, focus on features that many people want, don’t over complicate those things. Example, valet mode should be here by now that locks down speed acceleration and access to certain parts of the vehicle. Basic Pin to drive, not the multi factors drive one that depends on your phone and vehicle having an internet connection. Speedy, clean, stable software is always a win. I know Wassym Bensaid and plenty of others at Rivian can do this. We have seen it before and seen what they can do. The YouTube app is by far the best app they have added. I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s responsive, and works. Everything needs to work like that across the board. Please guy let me help in anyway I can, I just want the best for you and the community and customers. Let’s focus on that. I know some will see this as a complete complaining post but it’s not. It’s a plead to make the experience better for everyone and making the Rivian software the best software it can be.

Have you noticed how most NFT marketplaces feel almost identical? The UI changes. The names change. But the logic stays the same. You buy or sell an NFT, pay a fee, and move on. There is no sense of progression, no reason to stay, no real connection to the ecosystem itself. Spaace 🟠 starts from a different place. It asks what if an NFT marketplace was more than just a place to trade? What if it was a system that actually understands user behavior, tracks it, and rewards it in a meaningful way? The first real difference is how value flows. Here, fees do not just disappear. The value generated on the platform cycles back to the users. The structure is designed so that being active gives you a real stake in the platform economy, not a cosmetic number. Then there is XP. On Spaace, XP is not decorative. It is a concrete signal of participation. Every action, from listing and bidding to trading and inviting others, leaves a trace. And over time, that trace turns into ownership. Activity is no longer consumption, it is contribution. What ties everything together is gamification. Not shallow tasks layered on top of trading, but a full progression system. Seasons, chapters, battle passes, chests, and leaderboards turn NFT trading into something that feels closer to playing a game than using a tool. Arena is where this becomes most visible. This is where the marketplace turns competitive. Challenges are structured, goals are clear, and progress is measurable. Very few NFT marketplaces have even attempted something like this. Referrals work differently too. The rewards are real. No abstract points, no vague future promises. Inviting new users means earning a direct share of their activity in ETH. It is a system built to encourage real network growth, not just link sharing. Creators are not pushed to the side. Launching a collection is simple and fully integrated into the same XP and reward loops. Creators participate in the same economy as traders, not as outsiders. In the end, everything connects into a single loop. Activity leads to XP. XP leads to tokens. Tokens lead to staking. Staking leads to income. Income reinforces activity. A closed system that strengthens itself over time. Spaace 🟠 is not trying to be a better version of existing marketplaces. It is trying to change what an NFT marketplace actually is. Not just a venue. Not just a dashboard. But a living economic game where participation truly matters. #SpaaceNFT , #SpaaceTeaser , @SpaaceNFT -------------------------------------------------- CC: Buzz 🟠 , Galileo

In the past week Clint Russell asked Bret Weinstein how he would grade Trump, now that Bret voted for him for the first time in the 2024 election. Here is Bret's response: "I am confused by what I see... I am completely comfortable with having voted for Trump. It was my first time because of the apocalypse that was represented by the blue ticket. And so I just don't think there was any rational choice. We had an absolute emergency on our hands and this simple ability to vote for something that was in some way authentic made it the only game in town. Now, as for what is transpiring under the Trump administration, I am aware that there is a labyrinth of power and a hidden priority list. The administration presumably has things it wants to accomplish. The labyrinth of power sets the ground rules as to what can be accomplished at what rate and in exchange for what, I know I'm not privy to that. And so the real question is how does the stack up compared to what was possible given the cards that president Trump held on inauguration? And I don't think any of us are in a position to answer that. So, you know, is the disappointment the result of the fact that the constraints on the president are greater than we hoped and maybe imagined? Are they the result of the priorities not being the represented priorities? Undoubtedly that plays some role. But, you know, again, in light of what was, you know, we had President Biden was not the president in the meaningful sense. To have attempted to run him again. And then at the point that that became implausible, to swap in an empty shirt is such a dire commentary on the state of the Republic that I think every conversation about how the Trump administration is doing has to begin with the fact that there was no alternative."

When I saw the mask "Tribes of the Calf" from Kanbas I knew I had to make it into reality. The jewelry and gold really made it stand out for me. Since Sam Spratt's The Masquerade was revealed, I have been spending time sculpting and dissecting the mask to recreate it in 3D as faithfully as possible. I delved into the creation of this mask for many reasons. I love a good challenge and this mask surely was one for me. Creating something in 3D from a 2D image is not easy, and especially when the source has generative nature, some stuff is hard to interpret, but I tried my best to make sure the visual integrity of the mask is as close to the original as possible. Splitting the whole mask into parts, filling the missing pieces so I can build the textures was quite a lot of work. I tried to present the mask in my own style with a slightly different colorway to adapt to the mask itself. Please enjoy this short animation, and turn on sound🔊 This piece is my statement that I am here to stay. That I have a voice that often feels being lost in the void. That I have been creating and posting digital art for over 20 years now and will continue until I'm gone. I have a story to tell and I want to be heard. The space we have here is small, and is shrinking day by day. It doesn't have to be like that. We need to support each other and push ourselves and people here, otherwise we are all doomed. As Kanbas has put in their observation of the mask: "Inspirational. Emotional. Natural." This is what our space can be, and this is me making a statement with this homage. I will share a 4k still below as well as a short video showing the 3D GLB interactive model together with a yt link to the 4k video since compression here is pretty bad.

.Erik Voorhees: It’s actually good, from the Trojan horse perspective, that Bitcoin was traceable enough for traditional institutions to tolerate it. “When Bitcoin came out, everyone called it private, thought of it as private. It was referred to as anonymous in every news story. And in some ways, it is very private and very anonymous. But the truth is that it’s also extremely trackable and traceable. It is not private in reality. And the question is, should it have been from the start? And at first I thought, yes, it should have been more private. And that was a mistake in its design. However, I think if Bitcoin had been anonymous truly from the start, like a Zcash or a Monero, it would have had such antagonism from the state. I don’t know that the state could have snuffed it out, but they would have tried much harder. And I think it’s actually good, from the Trojan horse metaphor perspective, that it was traceable enough that the traditional institutions could tolerate it. They’ve never liked it, but they could at least tolerate it because there is some traceability. And that has allowed Bitcoin to grow. And I think in its shadow, that other crypto assets are actually anonymous is very healthy. The strength of cryptocurrency as a concept in society, I think, is served best when Bitcoin itself is not perfectly private, but other assets are. That is a very difficult thing, I think, for the state to combat. And that decentralization of attributes is really, really crucial. So, yeah, I’m very glad that there are other coins that are private. I want there to be more of them, and I want them to be more popular. And I think it’s okay that Bitcoin itself is not.”
