This is brilliant and a hope for restraint. The preservation model would have prevented US clubs from spending millions to ruin and then further millions to undo what they did. It's concerning if GB&I is going away from preservation.

I just played Royal Portrush with a former captain of the club and he said they have very limited funds. I suggested they do an “assessment” and he said that word doesn’t exist in Ireland.
