Blessings of Shri Ram Katha and a Legacy of Values Attended the Shri Ram Katha by Param Pujya Morari Bapu ji in Yavatmal today and took his blessings. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and serenity. "राम रामेति रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे। सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं रामनाम वरानने ॥", this timeless shloka reminds us that chanting the name of Shri Ram once equals the virtue of reciting a thousand names of the divine. Such is the power of Shri Ram Katha. When these eternal truths flow through the words of Param Pujya Morari Bapu ji, they do not just reach our ears, they illuminate the path of life itself. For generations, our lives have been shaped by the name of Shri Ram. His way of life, rooted in dignity, sacrifice, discipline, and compassion, remains unmatched, a timeless guide for humanity. Today, this devotion carries even greater meaning, as after 500 years of struggle, Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla has once again taken his rightful place at Ayodhya. On this occasion, another special moment was the release of “Pen & Purpose – Life and Times of Jawaharlal Darda”, a book on the life of Late Shri Jawaharlal Darda (Babuji), a freedom fighter. The book captures his journey from childhood and the freedom struggle to building Lokmat and nurturing progressive family values. Enriched with rare photographs, it reflects how a leader grew into a statesman. Now available in Marathi, Hindi, and English. Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister Dr Ashok Uike, Hansraj bhaiyya Ahir, Chairperson, National Commission for Backward Classes and other dignitaries were present. This is not a time for partisan politics. It's a moment for collective resolve to ensure justice for those who lost their lives and for their grieving families by bringing the perpetrators to justice. Among the list of victims were: Shri Manjunath from Chikmagalur. Shri Bharat Bhushan from Bengaluru. I spoke to both the wives of the deceased, Pallavi and Sujata, this morning. They are at present safe, but they are worried about the future. I spoke to the KPCC, and the Cabinet has deputed Labour Minister Santosh Lad. He said that he met two members of the family and their children. He also met nearly 200 tourists from Karnataka there in various hotels and arranged flights to return to Bangalore. I have also requested J&K CM Umar Abdullah to make arrangements for those who are not in touch with their respective states. Yesterday night, I spoke to our Home Minister; he promised me that he will take care of all those people. I offer my deepest condolences to the families of the deceased and their loved ones in the tragic incident. The summer season has started, and tourists have started visiting the region. Tourism is also the biggest source of income for Jammu and Kashmir. They are dependent on that income. But due to this attack, Shri Omar Abdullah has told me that this year the economy has collapsed. The Government of India is ruling there, as it's a Union Territory, still not declared as a state. So the response would be from the Government of India. In this moment, we are all one with the government. Together we have to fight. Whosoever we are fighting against—whether it is terrorists or other agencies—we will be one together to protect the country and its unity and integrity. : Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge

I visited the hospital to meet and stand in solidarity with the gravely injured Swami Suryananda Maharaj, who was brutally assaulted during a peaceful Hindu Sammelan in Bhagabanpur in Purba Medinipur district. His only "crime"? Raising the sacred chant of **Jai Shri Ram**; a slogan that echoes the soul of every proud Hindu. Swami Ji personally recounted the horror to me; TMC-backed goons & "jihadis," pounced on him like wild animals. They tried to strangle him with a noose around his neck in a bid to murder him in cold blood. Punches, kicks, and blows rained down on his chest. This is not lawlessness, this is state-sponsored terror against anyone who dares to assert Hindu pride. Under Mamata Banerjee's regime, West Bengal has become a hunting ground for anti-Hindu forces. Day after day, Sanatanis are targeted, Temples vandalized, saints attacked, and Hindus humiliated, all because the State Govt protects the attackers in the name of appeasement & vote-bank politics. The Police stand mute spectators while TMC goons run amok. This is the template across West Bengal. How long will Hindus keep suffering in silence? How many more Swami Suryananda Maharajs must bleed before we wake up? I call upon every Hindu across West Bengal and India to rise above caste, creed and any divisions. Unite as one unbreakable force. This is not just an attack on one Saint, it is an assault on our faith, our identity, and our very existence. Today feels like watching history settle into its rightful place. The Bhagwan Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya now stands complete, crowned with the Dharma Dhwaj. That flag is not just fabric. The rising sun on it reminds us that Prabhu Shri Ram belongs to the royal Suryavansh, a line that upheld truth and duty. The sacred Om at the centre speaks of awareness, devotion and the unbroken connection between the devotee and the divine. The Kovidar tree symbol carries the promise of Ram Rajya, good governance and prosperity as described in our ancient texts. Every symbol on that flag tells the story of a civilisation that refused to forget its ideals. On this day my first instinct is to bow my head to those who carried this struggle on their shoulders. From Advani ji, Modi ji, the sadhus and sadhvis who set out on the Rath Yatra, to countless kar sevaks who slept on railway platforms, walked in the heat, faced lathis and bullets. Many of them never came back. We owe a special salute to those who were shot dead when Mulayam Singh ordered firing on Ram bhakts. Their blood is part of the foundation of this temple. We should also remember who stood on the other side of this story. Lalu Yadav stopped the Rath Yatra. Sonia Gandhi’s party tried in court to argue that Bhagwan Ram was only a myth. Kapil Sibal used every technical trick available to keep the case hanging so that a verdict never came in our lifetime. For years this was the pattern. Delay, mock, insult, block. Yet in one moment it all felt worth it. When Narendra Modi ji was hoisting the Dharma Dhwaj, look closely at his hands. They are trembling slightly, the way any devotee shakes when the heart is overflowing. In that instant he looked less like a Prime Minister and more like a common kar sevak who finally got to see the dream completed. I come from a Sanghi household. We have lived through 1984, 1990, 1992, through the years when talking about Ram Mandir in public invited abuse and threats. My father was a swayamsevak and also an Arya Samaji, deeply committed to Hindutva in the purest sense of service and sacrifice. He gave months and years of his life to Dharma, organising, travelling, working day and night for a vision he was not sure he would see fulfilled. He kept that tapasya going till his last breath. Today I feel he is standing in Ayodhya with all of us. Anyone who grew up in the 90s and early 2000s will remember the conversations at home. We would say in simple words “When BJP comes, all this will change. Just once let BJP form a strong government and Ram Mandir will happen.” It sounded childish to some, but it was the only hope millions held on to. When I started campaigning myself, our discussions were always about Article 370, Ram Mandir and many other issues linked to justice for Hindus. Friends would laugh and taunt me. “Neither will BJP come to power nor will any of this happen,” they would say. As a young volunteer I once gathered the courage to ask Advani ji: “Sir, will we really be able to build the temple, looking at how Congress plays politics?” He replied with total confidence, with the voice of a man who had already seen the future in his mind. “No matter what happens, the temple will be built, and it will be built at that very spot.” Today those words echo in Ayodhya. We are fortunate to live in the time of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, Amit Shah as Home Minister and Yogi Adityanath ji in Uttar Pradesh. Along with the tireless efforts of countless unnamed workers, they turned a five hundred year old wound into a centre of pride. Until 2014 it felt like the story would never move forward. There were only court dates, politics, editorials and insults for believers. Today the chapter has finally turned. The birthplace of Shri Ram once again has a grand mandir, and above it the Dharma Dhwaj that announces to the world that Sanatan faith is alive, awake and standing tall. This is not only about architecture. It is about self respect. It is about telling every kar sevak who walked in the dust of Ayodhya, every swayamsevak who gave their youth, every father and mother who whispered “Mandir wahin banega” to their children, that their trust was not misplaced. I feel grateful to be alive to see this day. Grateful to my father’s generation for keeping the flame burning. Grateful to this nation for never letting the memory of Shri Ram’s birthplace fade. Today, the flag on the shikhara carries the stories of five centuries of struggle and the promise of a new era of confidence. This story needs to be told again and again so that our current generation knows that none of this came easily or on a platter. Jai Shri Ram #Ayodhya Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra

Prathap Simha's vile “cut” remark about Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ji in Bagalkot has exposed the BJP's despicable politics once again. It is increasingly evident that Prathap Simha’s outburst is driven by desperation. BJP is deliberately using Prathap Simha for insulting the tallest leader of the backward community, Shri Siddaramaiah, purely with a view to convey a message to the backward classes, Scheduled Castes and Minorities, that BJP treats them as inferior and subjugated as per their Manuvadi approach. Such conduct only exposes a complete bankruptcy of ideas, ethics, and leadership within the BJP. CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar have received death threats in the past - from the same divisive forces, including one from BJP leaders who warned that their bodies would be stuffed into a refrigerator. This is not one man's madness - it is the BJP’s political culture. This is the same Prathap Simha, who in the past called the elected Karnataka government a "Taliban government" - not once, but repeatedly at the instruction of the BJP Central Leadership. BJP leaders are habitual offenders in spreading poisonous discourse. Ex MP Ananth Kumar Hegde openly insulted Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao's wife - while serving as a Union Minister. BJP MLC CT Ravi had fallen to the ultimate low by insulting Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar inside the Legislative Council itself. Other BJP leaders are repeat offenders in hurling insults, indignities, and outrageous remarks, to offend and denigrate individuals, communities, and religions. When abuse becomes the Magna Carta of BJP leaders, it is futile to expect language of development, progress, or harmony. The anger and frustration of BJP in Davanagere South and Bagalkot assembly bye-elections emanate from their rejection by the people and foresight of imminent defeat on April 9, 2026. Irked by the same, and angry with Kannadigas, State and Central BJP leadership has now assigned the task to the ilk of Prathap Simha, to hurl abuses and indignities at the leadership of the poor and downtrodden, including on Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar. And the ultimate irony - the BJP leadership first expelled and disowned Basanagouda Patil Yatnal for six years from the BJP. Yatnal openly calls BJP State President B. Y. Vijayendra and former Chief Minister Shri. B. S. Yeddyurappa as a "corrupt family”. In Bagalkot assembly, BJP and its candidate, Sh Veeranna Charantimath have now appointed Yatnal as their “star attraction”. A party divided into a thousand pieces, who cannot manage their own house, are now abusing Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Minorities and their leaders including Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister Shri. D. K. Shivakumar. Karnataka has a proud legacy of progressive thought, scientific temper, religious tolerance, and social harmony. The great Kannadigas will not be misled by BJP leaders, who seek to drag politics into the gutter. We demand the following immediately: 1. Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, BJP National President Sh. Nitin Nabin, BJP State President B. Y. Vijayendra, and LoP Sh. R. Ashoka must tender a public apology to 6.5 crore Kannadigas, particularly to the OBCs, SCs, and Minorities, for the disparaging and intolerable remarks of BJP leader Shri. Pratap Simha, made against Chief Minister Shri. Siddaramaiah. Let them expel Prathap Simha from BJP, if they do not subscribe to his remarks, and if they are not a party to the conspiracy. If they do not do so, it will be proved that the state and central leadership of the BJP has deliberately assigned Prathap Simha for hurling these nefarious insults and indignities. 2. FIR be lodged against Prathap Simha and strict action be taken. If the BJP and its leaders do not apologize, the poor and the downtrodden would teach the BJP a befitting lesson in the bye-elections of Davangere South and Bagalkot. Jai Hind! Jai Karnataka!
