LAUNCH WEEK DAY 3 T3 Chat now has temporary chats and thread archiving

When is T3 Chat getting a landing page?

Two questions: Why end of day releases? Can we have temporary threads within a single chat?

Wen vscode extension 🧐

Is this a bug? or does sonnet 4.6 eat usage like tf, I lost 57% for just one message in an old chat.. is this coz I increased no. of searches to 5 or coz the chat had a lot of web searches?

That might sound foolish but I'll ask it. Temp chats are saved in DB? Just wanted to know the mechanism of handling those chats.

Is this next? 👀

oh my god theo, thank fucking god for archiving

Theo for @OpenAI product lead

I might need to get a t3 chat subscription really...

Can you add a temporary pop up style chat mid thread like sometimes I just need to chat in current context but don't want it to be included in main context. Also having too many branches makes sidebar a mess.

How many token credits spent on launch week? Curious

very much looking forward to the release of t3.code. Codex app is nice in its design, but has lately become extremely laggy, almost unusable

pretty cool stuff happening in t3chat recently excited

great feature!

Can I connect my Google Drive and upload some files to it?

LLM chatbots are being used ?

Nice to see

Anything for like projects?

the active icon color when you enable temp chat has bad contrast

interesting

Yay!!

When is the mobile app ready to release? 6 month seems like a long time

now i can finally stop using chatgpt com for temporary stuff thx

Wouldn’t it makes sense to have that button close to the “submit” button in the chat area? I know you might accidentally click it, but having it up there feel out of context ? Just a thought

Thread archiving is a game-changer.

Is it possible to commit a temporary chat? Sometimes I start a chat thinking I won't need to keep it around, and then I get further in and realize I do want to keep the chat.

Yayyyy!!!!!

Funny thing, I already predicted it months ago:

Love your work theo!

I hope sometime working autoscroll will come to t3 chat

FOLDERS NEXT PLEASE

Congrats on another day! The archiving feature is a game changer for keeping things tidy.

Archive and temporary options make chats cleaner and more organized, which feels like a practical update😃

Temporary chats is lowkey the feature I didn't know I needed

praying mobile app makes launch week 🙏
