You're thinking exactly what Putin and Larov want you to think. What is the alternative? Germany continuing to absorb these hybrid attacks and pretend its business as usual? At some point you've got to either punch a bully in the mouth, or just accept being bullied.
The most likely explanation is that Russia is behind the hybrid attacks in Germany. Russia, however, wants it to look as if other countries - Ukraine among them - are responsible. In conflicts, the truth often disappears as soon as war breaks out.

I agree with you. If power changes in Russia, there is a risk that Putin would be replaced by someone even more conspiratorial and more anti-Western than he is.

For all this talk, with what is Germany planning to wage war with Russia? They have no nukes, their military is a joke, and they have no weapons in adequate quantities right now - not even proper air defence, thanks to Ukraine and Iran wars. This is not some Hitlers army. This army is a joke.
This means that in the event of further attacks, it won't be possible to call on the ambassador. Plus, there won't be an unguarded headquarters coordinating attacks on Germany.
I find these developments deeply worrying. The situation feels as if it could easily spiral out of control. It also seems that Russia, under Putin, has chosen escalation and put negotiations on hold.

It's a bad move on russia's part. Like i said, don't play their game. Most of the german people do not hate russia. They do not want war with russia. I would leave it open. It shows that russia is more diplomatic than the germany.. You have to look at what german population want not what the leadership in germany wants. You have to understand most elections in the european countries are rigged. Leaders can be overthrown by the population.
Germans are not sure that their government was elected by people. Bad things happen, when elections are corrupted.

Are you talking about the AfD’s strong showing in eastern Germany? I think they can keep riding that momentum for some time. Widespread discontent is a powerful driver and can pull in a lot of votes.

I believe the risk of escalation is high. Russia’s gray-zone warfare against several European countries is likely to continue, and I expect China to intensify pressure on Taiwan.

I think Putin has sensed that something is amiss and the situation is turning against him.
Yes, that scenario should not be ruled out. I also think he knows that he will not survive a failure in Ukraine. That in turn could lead to him escalating in the hope of repercussions.
