The EFF did a motion calling on Parliament and relevant committees to convene and investigate human trafficking and the colonially rooted criminal syndicate that sees Africans lured into South Africa and further exploited on farms and mines. This is important because this well coordinated criminal syndicate continues to thrive in our democratic era. The DA objected. How on earth is the GNU entrusting DA with Home Affairs ministry when they refuse for parliament to tackle human trafficking and the criminal syndicate that sees African migrants illegally brought to South Africa for cheap labour?

We are praying for the speedy recovery of our law enforcement officer. He followed his training, used appropriate force, and properly enforced the law to protect the public and law enforcement. Activists encouraging illegal aliens to resist law enforcement not only spread misinformation, but also undermine public safety, as well as the safety of our officers and those being apprehended.
