It wasn't shot down. They have a recording of the pilot just before the crash. She reported icing and turbulence and declared an emergency. Conspiracy theorists will still do what they do best, though: spread conspiracy theories and refuse to accept the truth.

How is it 1. The president had taken off minutes before the crash? 2. No fly zone? And no power lines, poles or trees? This is true about the impact results. But it missed all lines, street lights etc.

The reason it might not look like a plane, and why some people are saying it was a missile, it's possible the aircraft lost its tail and a wing (due to overspeed/stress conditions) while still diving at up to 500 mph… Completely disintegrate on impact.
