This is a actually good video for people who don't know how to use codex 🔥

Thanks!

Holy smokes this is a banger video!! Amazing job with pacing and visuals.

AI tools are now fighting for my sleep Is that correct or am I the only one?

So awesome, just shared this on Slack with my entire eng team. As usual, you rock Riley 🤘

Continue to wow w speed of your content output mannnn 🏎️

Thanks for sharing how to use Codex, now it works very well on Open Design — an open-source alternative to Claude Design, with 30+ Skills and 71+ Design Systems. 24h, 3.6K 🌟

Awesome man 👍 Now please make a video for the remaining 5% of using Codex

codex looks powerful but without rock solid evals it's just fancy autocomplete

GPT-5.5 launched inside Codex last week - 4 million active Codex users now and growing. the "7 knowledge work capabilities" framing is smart positioning: OpenAI is explicitly moving Codex from a code-completion tool to a general computer-work agent. Worth learning this now before everyone else does.

Hello ! Is Computer Use still not available in France?

Good breakdown. The capability most people sleep on is persistent memory. That's what turns Codex from a tool you use into a system that compounds. Every session builds on the last. That's where the real leverage lives if you set it up right from day one.

I have the longer one bookmarked to deep dive this weekend should I stick with that one or watch this one instead?

thanks bro!it is really helpful!

Useful content but the real unlock isn't learning 95% of Codex, it’s knowing the 5% it nails vs where it confidently serves up garbage That instinct requires understanding what's happening underneath. MKBHD accidentally mapped out why this gap exists 👇

Finally someone decided to drop a Codex Full course.

I will never stop appreciating how Riley doesn’t assume everyone is a seasoned web developer, and breaks things down in such an understandable beginner friendly manner.

Amazing guide

How do I shift an existing chat of mine (with a lot of work already done) into a project?

instant like and bookmark.

Confusing naming. Platform specific. Waiting list.

As someone who is about the make the jump this is an excellent overview. Thanks very much.

28 minutes to understand 95% of a tool is exactly the kind of leverage people sleep on

thanks @nlw for recommending this

Any tips for how to transfer a project/skills/mcp's over from claude to codex?

Exactly what I need at this point. I am going to switch to codex soon.

This video is amazing! With your permission, I'm going to subtitle it in Spanish for my Spanish-speaking audience.

Wonderful video Riley, watched it while on the stair stepper this morning. Have a feeling I’m going to burn through my $20 sub now haha but I’m very excited to dig in! Would love a follow up video of how to integrate openclaw into the codex workflow. I’ve been chatting with my agent about this and I have a feeling using codex CLI with my openclaw agent would be a great way to organize various projects and coordinate the workflows without burning through codex tokens. As a bonus would be great to show how to link the codex projects to GitHub (I know this is fairly easy but for people who are new to coding understanding this and version control is very useful.

"Only illiterates and people who don’t think for themselves would watch these videos of yours. They have very little real value, yet they’re strangely popular. Software engineers have no use for them at all — only bandwagon followers would watch this stuff.

This is very cool. Learned one or two things i am not doing efficiently.

28 minutes that's how long it takes to master the Codex sufficiently

Persistent Memory is the one I'd want details on. With Claude Code I can grep CLAUDE.md to see exactly what's loaded — Codex's feels more implicit. Curious if the 28min explains when memory gets evicted versus carried forward.
