I often hear people tell me how great they feel after a workout, how it leaves a smile on their face, and brings the stress level of life down to a tolerable level. I have been told by many of my gym members that working out is like therapy for them, how great it feels to move...well let me tell ya , if you think you feel great as an adult after a bout of vigorous movement how the hell do you think children feel? Children who are chock full of boundless energy, with developing brains and bodies and an emotional system that can often change from high to low and back again in a matter of minutes. I can tell you that children need movement much more than any adult ever could. Kids get stressed out, too, while their worries may seem trivial to our super important adult worries. To them, they are very important. The problem is that not all children see the big picture or have the experiences yet to know everything is going to be ok. It's because of this that children need movement and lots of it. It makes them feel better, improves their focus, burns off that nervous energy, and allows them to gain a sense of self and learn their surroundings. But what do we with children, just the opposite: we shorten recess, increase class time, take away physical education, music and art, take one minute tests, 20 minute tests, standardized tests, mid-terms and on and on. we fence them in, lock them down, sit them in front of a box with pictures... If you have children or have the pleasure to work with children, understand that movement/exercise/play goes way beyond just having fun, it is literally the life blood of childhood. No amount of learning ever takes place without some form of movement that has laid down the connections in the brain. Also, the more happy experiences children have, the better chance they will be happy adults. If you have access to kids, get them moving, move in the classroom, move at home, move outside, just move. Chase each other, give high fives, jump, spin, roll, hop, yell, wrestle, and have fun... My Playground 👇

The Junior Mining Trade is Finally On and Here's Why For junior mining investors, 2024 has been a mixed bag of patience and promise. While the price of gold and silver has been skyrocketing to levels unseen in over 20 years, junior mining stocks haven’t kept pace. Many investors who poured money into smallcap exploration companies expecting them to follow gold’s surge are getting restless. But things are finally looking up for this lagging sector, and it’s all about where we’re at in the natural resource cycle. Let’s break down what’s happening and what might be on the horizon. Gold and Silver Are Shining—So Where Are the Juniors? Over the past year, the price of gold has climbed nearly 38%, with silver up a stunning 42.5%. Yet, despite these record-breaking moves, the smaller companies focused on exploration and discovery, the juniors, have barely moved. The S&P TSX Global Mining Index is up a respectable 23%, but the TSX Venture Metals and Mining Index, where most juniors trade, has only eked out a 9% gain. What gives? The answer lies in understanding how large and small mining companies navigate their roles in the precious metals cycle. Large mining firms like Newmont have been basking in higher prices, increasing production, and capitalizing on high margins. But for smaller companies, the real opportunity often comes when large producers start feeling the need to secure future supply. And here in late 2024, that moment is just arriving. The Resource Equation: Why Giants Like Newmont Look to the Smaller Names To understand how the big miners influence juniors, let’s look at Newmont Corporation, the world’s largest gold miner, operating across four continents. Newmont’s primary goal is to produce as much gold as possible at the lowest possible cost. But mining is unlike most industries—every ton of ore that comes out of the ground depletes reserves. Once Newmont extracts an ounce of gold, it’s gone for good. And unless it adds new ounces to its portfolio, production eventually declines, and so does the stock price. For a giant like Newmont, replacing these reserves through new discoveries is costly, risky, and time-consuming. Companies like Newmont prefer to purchase assets that are already developed or nearly so. Recently, Newmont acquired Newcrest in a $28.8 billion deal, marking the largest gold merger to date. Newcrest itself grew through acquisitions, buying up promising mines like Red Chris and Brucejack to shore up its reserves. By buying Newcrest, Newmont added high-quality, low-cost ounces to its portfolio, but the global giant still needs to continually replenish reserves to meet production demands. That’s where the juniors come in. Agnico-Eagle and the Depletion Dilemma Agnico-Eagle, the second largest gold producer, faces similar challenges. After its own string of acquisitions, including a merger with Kirkland Lake Gold and the purchase of Yamana’s assets, Agnico has continued to produce significant volumes of gold. But high production volumes mean reserves are also dwindling fast. Take Agnico’s mines in Mexico, Pinos Altos and La India, which once held nearly 80 million tonnes of gold and silver ore. After a decade of operation, these assets are close to depletion. Agnico has exploration projects, but it’s unclear if they’ll be able to replenish the company’s gold supply at the rate it’s being depleted. For Agnico, acquiring developed assets is a faster solution, but with competition increasing, the company may soon have to look at even smaller players—putting junior mining companies back in the spotlight. The Junior Mining Cycle: Positioned for Growth? As long as gold and silver prices remain high, big mining companies will be on the lookout for acquisitions to secure future production. In fact, the 23% gain in the S&P TSX Global Mining Index and the 45% one-year return on the GDX signal that the metals rally is starting to reach mining stocks. The trend is only beginning to impact juniors, but it’s gaining momentum. Soon, even higher-risk, earlier-stage exploration companies may become prime acquisition targets for larger miners. For juniors, this translates into real opportunity. As big miners get hungrier for reserves, they’ll go further up the risk curve to secure assets, bringing much-needed capital into the space. Exploration companies that prove their resource quality, viability, and production potential may see increased valuations and potentially, acquisition offers. And with investor attention gradually returning to the sector, the right companies could see significant price moves. How to Navigate the Junior Mining Space The challenge, of course, is identifying which juniors have what it takes to make it. As some veteran mining investors will tell you, success often depends less on the project itself and more on the people managing it. I’ve spoken with Rick Rule, Doug Casey, and Frank Giustra over the last year and they all emphasize the importance of strong management teams in mining. A great deposit in the hands of an inexperienced team can lead to wasted resources, while an average deposit managed well can turn into a profitable operation. The Deep Dive has hosted numerous junior mining CEOs who’ve given us insight into their companies, strategies, and outlooks. One example is Silver Tiger Metals, which has been developing a promising silver asset in Sonora, Mexico, close to Agnico’s Pinos Altos. We spoke with their CEO, Glenn Jessome, about how he plans to bring the project to fruition. For investors, hearing directly from these leaders can provide a clearer sense of who knows what they’re doing and who might struggle if challenges arise. 2025: A Big Year Ahead for Junior Mining? The signs are there—2025 could be a pivotal year for junior miners. The macroeconomic backdrop is favorable, with sustained demand for gold and silver likely as inflationary pressures and a strong dollar drive more investors into metals. Meanwhile, big mining firms are looking to juniors to secure their future production, meaning higher acquisition interest and more money flowing into exploration companies. If you’re watching the junior mining space, keep an eye on the fundamentals: Who has strong management? Which projects are positioned in promising jurisdictions? And crucially, who has the financing and expertise to make the most of their assets? Where to Start If you want to follow our efforts, subscribe to The Deep Dive to stay updated on all things junior mining. We’ll continue to feature CEOs and industry experts to bring you insights directly from the companies on the frontlines of this cycle. And if you have questions for our guests, let us know in the comments—chances are they’re reading too.

Putin's approval ratings are showing a noticeable decline. All of Russia's main polling agencies - the Levada Center, VTsIOM, and FOM - are reporting the same trend. According to the Levada Center, 74% of respondents approved of Putin's performance in June. While this remains a high figure, it is 13 percentage points lower than in August 2025. VTsIOM recorded a drop in presidential approval from 70.4% at the end of June to 65.1% by mid-July. Trust in Putin also declined over the same period, from 76.7% to 71%. According to FOM, 66% of respondents rated Putin's performance positively on July 10-12, compared with 75% a month earlier. The share of those who said they do not trust the president rose to 20%. The absolute figures differ due to survey methodologies: Levada conducts monthly face-to-face interviews, VTsIOM uses a mixed methodology, and FOM carries out weekly surveys. However, all three point to the same trend - a gradual decline in support. Another important signal comes from the Levada Center's findings. Russians are increasingly citing not the war itself but its impact on their own lives as the main events. In June, 24% of respondents mentioned Ukrainian drone attacks, while 22% cited fuel shortages and rising gasoline prices. Only 7% cited the war itself as a separate event. This suggests a shift in public perception. Whereas the war previously remained a distant background issue for many Russians, it is now increasingly associated with tangible inconveniences - strikes on Russian territory, disruptions at airports, fuel shortages, and rising prices. At the same time, it would be premature to speak of an anti-war shift. In June, 67% of Levada respondents continued to support the actions of Russian troops, although that figure fell by seven percentage points over the month. At the same time, 64% supported moving to peace negotiations, while only 29% favored continuing the war. There is no contradiction here. A significant share of Russians simultaneously supports the military as a state institution while also wanting the war to end because of its economic and social consequences, without abandoning the desire for Russia to achieve its objectives. Economic indicators also point to worsening public sentiment. In June, Levada's consumer sentiment index fell to 94 points. A score of 100 is considered the threshold between predominantly optimistic and predominantly pessimistic assessments. The index has not been this low since October 2022. Over the past year, the index has fallen by 23 points, with nearly half of that decline occurring in May and June alone. Russians are becoming increasingly pessimistic about both the current economic situation and their personal prospects. Thirty-five percent said their family’s financial situation had worsened over the past year, while only 13% reported improvement. Even among Putin's supporters, only 16% said their standard of living had improved. Another trend is the gradual weakening of television's information monopoly. It remains the main source of news for 56% of Russians, yet only about one-third of the population trusts it - the lowest level on record. Meanwhile, the combined audience of online news sources has already surpassed that of television. This does not mean Russian society has drastically changed its political views. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult for the authorities to explain everyday problems through the official narrative of having the situation fully under control. Fuel shortages, drone attacks, and rising prices are part of people's personal experience. Levada's data also points to growing information polarization. Support for Putin and the war remains highest among those who rely primarily on television for news. Among YouTube users, younger people, lower-income citizens, and those who believe the country is heading in the wrong direction, support is significantly lower. These findings do not signal an imminent political crisis. Polls in an authoritarian state always reflect the influence of fear, self-censorship, and the absence of political alternatives. However, the simultaneous deterioration of several indicators - presidential approval, economic assessments, consumer sentiment, attitudes toward the war, and trust in television - points to a gradual erosion of public loyalty. For the Kremlin, it is particularly dangerous that different problems are increasingly being perceived as interconnected. Ukrainian strikes reduce Russia's oil refining capacity, fuel shortages increase transportation costs, more expensive logistics drive inflation higher, and worsening economic conditions reduce the public's willingness to tolerate the war. If this trend continues, the current decline in Putin's ratings could become the beginning of a longer-term erosion of passive public support for the authorities. So far, there is no regime crisis in Russia. However, the informal social contract that underpinned the country's stability in recent years is increasingly crumbling: citizens do not interfere in politics, and the state does not allow the war to significantly worsen their daily lives. 📹: A recent street poll of residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg by Sota SOTA

Shabbos Kestenbaum: I’m deeply troubled by foreign influence in the U.S. government. Just last week, the Department of Education, under Section 117 of the Higher Education Act, found that Qatar alone had spent $6 billion on American colleges and universities. Why is Qatar paying American institutions of higher learning? It also deeply concerns me that there are so many Chinese communists at Harvard University that the Chinese Communist Party reportedly refers to the Harvard Kennedy School as “their party school.” I’m equally disturbed by well-documented Russian influence campaigns, including the use of consulates, like the one near where I live in Riverdale, New York, to spy on and conduct espionage against Americans. But let’s be honest: no one in this room, and no one in our political culture or media, seems to care about any of that. As my opponent just demonstrated, the only country they are singularly obsessed with is Israel. You didn’t mention any other country in a topic that didn’t even include the word Israel. But fine, let’s talk about Israel. Israel is a country that, just three years after gas chambers and crematoria, managed to defeat seven Arab Islamist armies. It is a nation of about nine million people, yet it has more Nobel Prize winners than China and India combined. Israel grants full and equal rights to Jews and Arabs alike, so much so that an Arab Supreme Court justice, Salim Joubran, sentenced a Jewish prime minister, Ehud Olmert, to prison. There is no other country in the Middle East where Jews and Muslims have full, guaranteed equal rights. Before discussing Israel’s virtues further, let’s talk about American foreign policy. The Federalist Papers are filled with references to treaties and the importance of what the Founders called common defense. They understood that the government’s most sacred duty is to protect its people, often through foreign alliances. America’s first war as a nation was the Barbary War, fought to stop Islamist piracy in the Mediterranean, because President Thomas Jefferson recognized that threats abroad become threats at home. The idea that nations don’t need mutually beneficial alliances is historically absurd. Which brings us back to Israel. What does the United States gain from its relationship with Israel? A great deal. U.S. Abrams tanks use the Trophy active protection system, designed and developed in Israel. The U.S. Marine Corps uses the most advanced shoulder-launched bunker-busting weapon in the world, based on an Israeli design. American fighter pilots use helmet-mounted targeting systems developed by Israel’s Elbit Systems. Much of the U.S. UAV fleet is based on Israeli designs used as far back as the Gulf War. Just last week, Israel announced completion of Iron Beam, a system that can shoot down rockets, mortars, and drones at a fraction of the cost. Israel is also the only country that buys American F-35s and then improves them, modifications later resold by the U.S. to other allies. Israel was among the first to fly the F-15, F-16, and F-35 in real combat, providing invaluable battlefield data that saves the Pentagon years of research and development and helps the U.S. compete with Russia and China. This is a partnership, not a charity. Israeli tunnel-detection technology used against Hezbollah is now used by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security against cartel tunnels on the southern border. Israel’s Mossad raided Iran’s nuclear archives in Tehran. When the United States needs human intelligence in the Middle East, there is only one country it turns to, and we all know which one that is. This is about to be the most personal and honest advertisement that you have ever seen. For me, 2026 has been a pretty terrible year so far. It started with me breaking my thumb, my wrist and my leg. My leg needed metal plates, multiple screws and the tibia and fibula wired together. Sometime afterwards following the surgery I had a pulmonary embolism, blood clots travelling from my leg up to my lungs. It nearly took my life. This might sound strange but I have never been scared of death because I have always tried to live my life to its fullest. However now I'm a father, thinking of leaving my loved ones behind was truly terrifying. I was worried about all the things I didn't say yet, all the things I didn't teach. I made a recovery. I still have a way to go but I'm getting there, getting stronger and fitter by the day. It wasn't due to my health but I decided to make some good changes too. I stopped drinking, gave up smoking some time ago, barely touch sugar these days, eat a little more healthy than before along with more exercise. I was saving myself from depression. I was feeling good. Things were looking positive. Then after 8 years of working with a company, I got made redundant and lost my job. For most of my adult life I worked for some of the biggest companies in the world doing consultancy work, solving their core issues, managing departments, nuking and recreating processes ensuring they run efficiently. I had a choice. Keep working for companies selling things people don't need. Or do something different. Try to do something that genuinely helps people, that has a real and positive impact on the world, and at the same time work as hard as I have worked through all my life, but this time do it for myself, my family and for a good cause. I decided to create a company called HomeSafeEducation, and this is why and what we do. We teach children to read, to count, to pass exams. But we rarely teach them how to stay safe online, or teach them about body safety, or what to do if something does not feel right. These are some difficult topics when speaking to a child. We send teenagers into the world with qualifications but without the practical knowledge to navigate it confidently. We watch our parents age without ever having a conversation about scams, advance planning, or digital confidence. We offer a range of packages that provide people the means to gift something special to their families, themselves or the people they care about. Self protection, self confidence and the knowledge to make informed decisions at every stage of life. Whether this is for your young son, daughter, niece or nephew teaching them stranger danger or what to do in emergencies, teaching Street Smart information to teenagers, teaching your daughter how to be safe on nights out before leaving for university, or gifting a package to your friend before they go travelling so they can stay safe. You can gift to yourself to learn how to spot signs of issues that your children are experiencing or to learn how to communicate better with them and how to show understanding. Maybe you do it for a loved one reaching the later years in life to keep up with information to avoid being scammed. I built this platform because I wanted that knowledge to exist in one place, written properly, for every age group. Not watered down avoiding serious topics, but said in a way that's age appropriate and relevant so it can be taught to anyone. Not full of fear. Just honest, practical education that treats every person, whether they are five or seventy-five, as someone capable of learning and making good decisions. Every course is written to empower. Every lesson ends with something you can actually use. Every quiz reinforces what you or your loved ones have learned. Every song, for the packages that include them, is written and produced in-house because I believe learning should be memorable, not miserable. I have worked around the clock to create something special. A place where you can find information for your family, yourself or your friends. A place where that information can be easily learned and kept with them forever. I believe everyone reading this either needs this themselves or knows someone who does, and I invite you to come and take a look at what I have built. Go and take a look at the package page and see what we offer, check out the music and see how and what we teach. The rest of the music is genuinly extremely enjoyable. You can see some samples besides the packages. It was a big risk in deciding to go down this route, and it would mean the world to me if you could share this post to help me on my new venture. I have truly poured my heart into making this into something with real value for people. I hope you find this useful. You can find the website link in the comment below this post so you can go and take a look.

United States government officials have for decades reassured the public that they are releasing all they have, save for the most sensitive information, on the origin of Covid, the CIA mind control program known as MKUltra, the JFK assassination, and the Church Committee investigation into the intelligence community (IC) abuses in 1975. In 2023, then-Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Avril Haines delivered a five-page summary of Covid origins in response to a unanimously passed law requiring the declassification of files. MKUltra involved drugging individuals without their knowledge in an effort to control their thoughts and behaviors. The CIA stated in 2022 that it had released 95% of its JFK collection, and the Trump administration released roughly 80,000 pages of JFK records on March 18, 2025. But an active-duty CIA official testified to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee today that the CIA and the Intelligence Community (IC) are still hiding information. James Erdman III, a senior CIA operations officer who led the Director’s Initiatives Group investigation into Covid origins under DNI Tulsi Gabbard, appeared under subpoena from committee Chairman Rand Paul. Erdman told senators that the CIA “did not comply with lawful oversight” during his investigation, and said, “CIA managers retaliated against [analysts] for their refusal to agree with management’s middle-of-the-night anonymous review.” Erdman testifie,d “The CIA illegally monitored the computer and phone usage of DIG [Director’s Initiative Group] personnel, their investigations, and contact with whistleblowers…One CIA contractor assisting with the DIG’s investigation into the events that transpired between 2022 and 2023 was fired by the CIA one day after meeting with the DIG.” Erdman said the CIA had not cleared his testimony or written statement before the hearing. The CIA denounced the hearing as “dishonest political theater,” and not a single Democratic Senator showed up for it. A CIA spokesperson, Liz Lyons, said in a statement that “the Committee acted in bad faith by subpoenaing an Agency officer for testimony today without notifying CIA.” She added that “the witness testifying today is not appearing as a whistleblower in pursuit of the truth, but instead in response to the subpoena issued by Chairman Paul.” And she implied the hearing was not needed since “the CIA has already assessed Covid-19 most likely originated from a lab leak, and efforts to undermine that conclusion are disingenuous.” But the public CIA statement quoted at the hearing did not address Erdman’s specific claims about DIG monitoring, the contractor firing, or the 40 boxes of JFK and MKUltra files. Sen. Paul, who noted that “closed-door testimony doesn’t provide oversight” and “public testimony provides oversight.” The CIA made public in January 2025 a low-confidence assessment that COVID-19 likely had a research-related origin, while saying both lab and natural-origin scenarios remained plausible, which Paul called “a cleanup operation.” Nor did she address Erdman’s claim that, “When the DIG ceased operations, the CIA also took back 40 boxes of JFK files and MKUltra files being processed for declassification by DNI.” Public reached out to the CIA for comment on Erdman’s specific allegations and will update this article if it replies. Support for Erdman’s claims came from former CBS News investigative reporter Catherine Herridge. “As early as February,” she wrote on X, “I began receiving credible reporting that DNI Tulsi Gabbard’s investigative team was being tracked and communications collected because their work was revealing ‘uncomfortable facts.’” Paul opened the hearing by describing the Biological Sciences Experts Group (BESG), an ODNI advisory body that he said included Dr. Ralph Baric and Dr. Peter Daszak, both of whom collaborated with Wuhan Institute of Virology researchers on coronavirus gain-of-function studies. Daszak, Paul noted, received “hundreds of millions of dollars from the US government and worked with Dr. Zhengli Shi in Wuhan to create gain-of-function coronaviruses,” and that Baric “was also part of BSEG and an active consultant to intelligence agencies on the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.” Paul noted that “Dozens of times, [former NIAID Director Anthony Fauci] referred to the idea that the pandemic originating in the lab was a conspiracy theory.” Erdman said that as of August 12, 2021, the CIA was considering calling Covid a lab leak, but that the conclusion “changed on August 17th of 2021.” Erdman told the panel that “the CIA would not provide us documentation that we asked for” and “we have no idea why that changed.” Erdman also testified that “Director Gabbard is working through, I believe, 2,000 pages” of Covid origins records the CIA had been resisting releasing. That figure contrasts with the five-page summary the ODNI delivered to Congress in 2023. Senator Josh Hawley asked Erdman whether the five-page report was “all the information the United States government had,” and Erdman replied, “that is not all the information.” Erdman described a 2022 CIA “re-look” in which eight of 10 analysts and six of seven technical experts leaned toward a lab leak. He said management overruled the team and changed the analytic line to read that “we may never precisely know the origin of SARS-CoV-2.” Paul noted that there have been over 1,500 major lab leaks. Sen. Paul revealed that the CIA is still denying him information that Senators are entitled to see under the Constitution, which requires Congressional oversight of the executive branch. Paul said the CIA had resisted releasing to him the underlying Covid origins analyses by its own scientists, even in classified form. Paul also said, “I’ve been trying to get the classified version of the [1975] Church Committee [files] for over two years,” he said, “but I’m being blocked by the [Intelligence] Committee, including someone from our own party who is blocking me. They’ve shown me a room with 400 boxes. I can go look in all the boxes to see if I can find it. My staff’s not allowed to go in the room.” The CIA told Senate investigators in 1977 that, after the Church inquiry, it had discovered seven additional boxes of MKUltra files in its retired records center that prior searches had missed. The 1977 hearing identified 149 MKUltra subprojects involving human testing and 33 additional subprojects whose subject matter remained undisclosed. Reuters reported that in early April 2025, an ODNI team led by Defense Intelligence Agency official Paul Allen McDonald II arrived unannounced at a CIA archival facility in the Washington area to seize Kennedy assassination files. The team included Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, a former CIA officer and daughter-in-law of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The standoff stretched into the early morning hours and ended only after the CIA agreed to transfer a “massive trove” of documents to the National Archives for digitization. Why did these cover-ups occur and why are some of them still ongoing? And why didn’t any Democratic senators participate in the hearing?... Nassim Nicholas Taleb walked into Google and explained what Antifragility is and how the world actually works: 1. The opposite of fragile is not robust. That is the first mistake almost everyone makes. Robust means something does not care about volatility. The true opposite of fragile is something that actually benefits from disorder, volatility, and stress. He calls it antifragile. 2. If you are shipping something fragile you write handle with care on the box. The true opposite of that package would have please mishandle written on it. Something antifragile wants to be mishandled. It gets stronger from it. 3. Fragility is always about nonlinear harm. Jumping ten meters kills you. Jumping ten centimeters a hundred times does not. The harm accelerates disproportionately with size. That acceleration is the mathematical signature of fragility and it can be measured precisely. 4. Anything that has survived long enough to exist today must have this property. If harm were linear you would be destroyed just walking to the office. Everything that persists is built so that small stressors barely touch it but large unexpected shocks destroy it. 5. Large size creates fragility automatically. A hundred million pound project in the UK had thirty percent more cost overruns than a five million pound project doing the same thing. The bigger the stone the more the harm. Size and fragility are inseparable. 6. Governments and institutions make the same mistake constantly. They chase perfect stability and call it good management. But something organic requires variability to survive. Greenspan tried to eliminate all economic volatility. He called it the Great Moderation. What he actually did was allow hidden risk to accumulate invisibly until it exploded all at once. 7. Small forest fires clean out flammable material and prevent catastrophic ones. By eliminating small fires you guarantee a massive one eventually. The same principle applies to economies, banks, and any complex system. Suppressing volatility does not remove risk. It stores it. 8. The only way to make something genuinely robust is to embrace bipolar strategies rather than medium ones. Eighty percent of your portfolio in something safe and twenty percent in something highly speculative is more robust than putting everything in medium risk. The average of extremes beats the mediocre middle. 9. Everything organic communicates with its environment through stressors. Your body needs the gym. Your bones need stress. Your immune system needs exposure. Depriving any living system of the stressors it needs does not protect it. It weakens it invisibly. 10. What does not kill me makes others stronger is closer to the truth than what does not kill me makes me stronger. When a system gets stronger under stress it is usually because the weaker components were destroyed, not because the survivors individually improved. The system improves through the death of its fragile parts. 11. Trial and error is not the opposite of knowledge. It is a form of knowledge with a convex payoff. You lose little when you are wrong and gain enormously when you are right. That asymmetry is what makes tinkering more powerful than theoretical planning in unpredictable environments. 12. Most of what we attribute to theoretical knowledge actually came from tinkering that was dressed up afterward as having been scientifically planned. The Romans built extraordinary things for centuries without ever having heard of Euclidean geometry. Technology routinely precedes the science that supposedly explains it. 13. The fragilista is Taleb's name for the person who denies antifragility and causes damage through that denial. Bureaucrats, central planners, academics, and policy makers who overstabilize systems from the top down are fragilistas. They remove the volatility that systems need and call it improvement. 14. Seneca, the wealthiest man in the ancient world, trained himself every day to wake up as if he had lost everything. He would deliberately live as if he were on a shipwreck to ensure he always had more upside than downside. Having more to gain than to lose from random events is the definition of antifragility in personal life. 15. In medicine, convexity matters more than people realize. If you are very ill the potential benefit of treatment vastly outweighs the risk, so you should see ten doctors not one. If you are mildly ill the risks of intervention almost certainly outweigh the modest benefits. The problem is that mildly ill patients are five times more numerous than severely ill ones, which is exactly who pharmaceutical companies focus on. 16. Removing something unnatural from your life has almost no side effects. Adding something artificial always has multiplicative hidden effects. In complex systems less is almost always more. The via negativa, improving by subtraction rather than addition, is consistently underestimated. 17. The real ethical crisis of modern times is that the people making decisions do not bear the consequences of those decisions. Bankers take the upside. Society takes the downside. Economists give broken advice and face no consequences when it fails. Nothing improves in any field where the people who are wrong are not harmed by being wrong. 18. Time is the ultimate detector of fragility. Whatever is fragile will eventually be broken by time. Whatever has survived for a long time has demonstrated antifragility and will likely survive longer still. A book that has been read for three thousand years will probably be read for three thousand more. A technology that is forty years old has at least forty more years ahead of it. 19. The only way to know you are alive and not a machine is that you benefit from variability. If you like variation and gain from disorder you are antifragile. If you require peace and predictability to function you are fragile. It is as simple and as profound as that. Before you go, can we stay in touch? I'd love to share one email with you every Sunday that'll challenge how you think about business, money and freedom. Stay in touch here:

**Doris Yin 2025 New Year's Greetings to Pi Network Community** Dear Global Pioneers, GCV Ambassadors, and all GCV merchants, Happy New Year to everyone! Today marks the first day of 2025! I hope you all feel confident and energized as we work towards a successful OM for the Pi Network in Q1.🙏🙏🙏✊✊✊ In 2024, we made significant progress within the Pi Network. This progress serves as both motivation and a foundation for the current mass KYC and migration processes, which means we can finally anticipate a deadline for the OM—within a maximum of 89 days. Most likely, we will have the OM on Pi Day, which is just 72 days away. What has driven this success? GCV $314,159 has been confirmed since Pi2 Day 2024. Why am I so confident? The reasoning is straightforward, and most analysts can understand it. If GCV cannot meet the expectations set by Core Team for the long-term success of the Pi Network, they would not provide us with a deadline for OM by Pi2Day of 2025 on Pi2Day 2024 nor would they issue the recent deadline of Q1 2025. It’s important to remember that every project has its vision, mission, and goals. Considerable time and investment are put in to ensure that the project moves in the right direction. If the direction GCV does not align with their requirements, they cannot and will not give us the time frame for OM until we meet the necessary standards. Understand? Therefore, those who argue against GCV clearly lack understanding of Pi Network, and we can totally ignore them. There’s no need to explain or respond to their questions. Our Pioneers Handbook provides a strong theoretical foundation and guidelines for GCV helping Pi Network 100% succeed without any business risk. We already have more than 5 million GCV data on the blockchain, so there’s no need to debate what is Pi value. The only GCV value is $314,159. Our Pioneer’s Handbook has been updated to topic #73 and translated into 30 major languages. Pioneers who wish to live happily should obtain a copy from the Telegram International Group. It can not only boost your confidence but also bring you peace of mind. During the next 72 or 89 days, what should pioneers do? It’s simple: study the Pioneers Handbook. I recommend printing it out and reading it five times. This will contribute to the long-term success of the Pi Network, building this mindset is critical. Additionally, please share this Handbook with all your groups. It will help other pioneers develop a correct outlook on life and values. If you are a merchant or know any merchants, please also share the Pioneers Handbook and my articles about partial Pi payments at GCV. This will help both your business and your friends' businesses by leveraging the GCV community to increase exposure and attract more customers. After the OM, they can join the Pi Network Web3 blockchain, which will give them an edge over competitors. Make sure they register on MapofPi and remember to include GCV $314,159. CT needs to see how many merchants support GCV to determine how many pioneers can undergo KYC and migration. The logic here is straightforward: more GCV merchants signify lower failure risks and low policy violations. As demand for Pi increases in this region to support GCV ecosystem, this will lead to more KYC and migration opportunities in your area, including for high amounts of Pi wallets. We have witnessed already in GCV active countries which more than 10,000 or 20,000 above wallets have been migrated a lot. We achieved significant success in 2024, and I am confident that we will achieve even greater success in 2025, culminating in our OM celebration in about 2-3 months. Isn’t that exciting? Please block any accounts trying to convince you that your Pi value is $10, $100, $1,000, or $100,000. Ignore the noise; If you believe them, it will only slow down your region. GCV is unshakeable, and regions that support GCV and have more merchants in the ecosystem will gain more KYC and migration opportunities. For all pioneers who are facing financial difficulties, this is your only one opportunity in life. Don’t expect to still hold Pi if you choose to sell some for quick cash. Selling 10, 100, or even 1,000 Pi at this moment may entirely derail your chance for a better life because all your Pi account will be frozen. If you transfer your bought Pi from eco wallet to your own wallet, your policy violation will be tracked and all your accounts will be frozen. Any money spent to purchase Pi will be wasted. All pioneers should learn to be good citizens who respect government regulations and act honestly. Never try to take advantage of others. Greed in the Pi Network can cost you the opportunity to change your life and lose all your investment in buying Pi. I believe that most of our pioneers are honest, and you will be smart enough not to engage in harmful actions against others, the Pi Network, or yourselves. A person who knows how to navigate challenges is a hero. I wish for all pioneers to be heroes. Once again, Happy New Year! I wish all of you health, happiness, and prosperity in 2025.🌹🌹🌹 Doris Yin 🪷🪷🪷 Founder, Global GCV Movement Jan.1st, 2025
