This is a good statement regardless of where you sit politically. How people FEEL AND THINK about each other (races, religion, color, sex) can not be changed by making laws. This simply builds more resentment and creates more problems.

The broad left (actually a few leftist thinkers and activists) have spent the better part of the last century inventing stigmatizing concepts or twisting existing stigmatizing concepts to mean whatever they wish it to mean so they can use them as blunt weapons against anyone they disagree with (which all the useful idiots that make up the rest of the broader left have used extensively so yes, the broader left). There is nothing more intolerant than the left who truly believes they are both tolerant and morally superior so their intolerance isn't at all intolerance, but rather a necessity for the greater good. Hate (an immensely strong feeling of utter dislike of a person or object, so strong that the person hating feels an unbeatable urge to cause the person or object harm) now means any type of criticism or opinion that differs from your own, as well as simple ridicule. Nazism or fascism - Any kind of right-wing values, often conservative, where you value law and order, your own culture and country highly, and don't want people who don't respect and value that culture and country coming into the country. Imagine that.. Racism - a concept about not judging a person for who they were born as, now suddenly and magically including anything thought and value based, things that you can choose and also choose to reject. The whole core and purpose of the left is to stigmatize anything not left so no one dares to think of anything not left. Actually arguing for a leftist view isn't part of the leftist repertoire.
