In this interview with the BBC, it is revealed that the initial group of 13 individuals who embarked on a journey from Accra to London by road has reduced to 7. Kwabena Peprah, one of the 7 adventurers, reveals that they've had a wonderful experience so far, except for a hitch in Mauritania where they got extorted by the Police and were held up for over 7 hours over an alleged traffic infraction. They also almost got their car impounded for 2 days, but overall, the journey has been an amazing experience as they get closer to their destination, London.

Yes, there are criminal activities being committed by a few bad elements among pastoralist communities, as there are in every society. But we must not allow the actions of a few individuals to become a reason to condemn an entire community of innocent men, women, and children who are suffering and searching for refuge. Please, in the interest of humanity, embrace them. Allow them to continue their journey to safe destinations that range from the bushes and forests of Cameroon, where they can continue their pastoralist way of life, to other parts of Central Africa. Part of this caravan is heading toward Central Africa, Gabon, as well as the bushes and forests of Congo, seeking safety for their lives and searching for green pastures and water for their animals. They are Rwandan Youth Group, a group of young people who became famous online by singing Chinese songs. In 2019, drawn by their love for Chinese culture and Chinese music, these young people came together and formed the band. Over the years, they have posted more than 1,000 singing videos on Chinese social media and gained over 10 million followers. They have brought the beauty of Chinese songs and language back to the villages and cities of Rwanda.
