The Epping migrant hotel protests have been a pivotal moment. They're visibly not "far-right thugs"; they're mainly parents undeniably motivated by a desire to keep their kids safe. The responses have been entirely predictable. Left-wing media went into overdrive calling everyone "neo-Nazis". Jess Phillips blames "men". Iain Dale can't see any cultural difference between an Afghan and an Englishman. Counter protestors seem unsure why they're protesting. But the worst response was the police themselves who were accused of bringing in left-wing counter protesters to try and goad conflict with the locals who are worried about their children. The police denied it - then admitted that yes, they had brought in far-left agitators. Instead of keeping the peace, police were stoking the conflict. Why? Because of the protests, migrants were moved to a hotel in Canary Wharf, where a barrier was erected (interesting to see that borders can sometimes be enforced). An Epping mum explains how she tried to raise the issue and was thrown out of a council meeting for doing so. Despite the best efforts of the authorities, everyone can see the truth. And by ignoring people when they raise issues, the authorities have foolishly made protests the only way to get anything done. So expect to see a lot more of them.

I confronted them, caught up to them, and tried to holding one for the police — I usually don’t do stuff like this, but I’m TIRED of watching our community pay for unchecked lawlessness. When local “No Kings” protesters helped one escape, it showed a perfect picture of how complacency is destroying Portland. Just know, if you hurt my community in front of me, I will not stand by and be silent. The people of Portland and OREGON ARE TIRED OF YOU!

Protestors who carry bottles of broken glass into our CBD have no intention of demonstrating peacefully - yet these are the kinds of protests Jacinta Allan allows to occur week in, and week out in Melbourne’s CBD. Enough is enough. A Liberals and Nationals Government will restore police funding and bring back move-on powers to keep our city safe, and introduce a protest registration system to ensure protests don't get out of control. Being pelted with rocks and bottles isn’t free speech, it’s criminal violence. And it must be stopped.
