Something that really came alive for me on the expedition with Pillars of the Past was the way Peruvian cultures like the Inca and Wari would channel and utilize water in their ancient cities. I had seen pieces of ancient aqueducts before but this was the first time I saw these systems still functioning. I believe these cities were fully equipped with water features throughout, providing drinking water, showers, baths, etc. Here we explore aqueducts and pieces of aqueduct construction from the Inca sites of Intihuatana and Vilcashuamán, and the Wari capital of Viñaque. Admittedly there's not much left to go on, but I do believe we are dealing with a people and culture who had fully mastered the flow of water, and these fragments provide a glimpse.

The fact that some people misinterpreted what "fully clothed" means is irrelevant at this point. Nolan Wells was discovered wearing only the swim trunks he was photographed in the day he went missing. The real issue is that Ben Crump falsely stated during his press conference that the United Cajun Navy told Nolan's family that he was found fully clothed, and then went on further to invent a story about him wearing a shirt. None of this is true and at no time did we ever discuss what we witnessed during the recovery with his family. We understand that controversy drives likes and clicks, but people need to keep their eye on the ball. Misinformation has harmed this investigation and the community of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. We will continue to call out misinformation when we see it and correct it with facts. Nancy Grace

Sydney Pollack on 'The Yakuza' (1974) & the differences he had with Paul Schrader while making the movie: "I think 'The Yakuza' (1974) is a terrific picture. I think it is one of the better pictures that I have done. it's not an audience picture at all. it's a picture that got fairly well received critically. [but] nobody went to see; it it's an oddball movie that very few people even know. but it's a movie that I like a lot. It was Schrader's first big break. He's a very talented guy and again I had a similar problem working with him, not quite like [working with] Milius but but it was a taste problem. In other words, he was an ex-critic and a real film buff and his models for everything were films that he'd seen before and he had approached everything from a sort of a genre point of view; "let's have a little violence in the first 10 minutes then we can have some later". I kept saying I know what that means all I know is the scene doesn't work but he & his brother were terrific and they were both good and they came over while we were shooting. Robert Towne came into the rewrite for me on that and I got to work with Mitchum who is just wonderful to work with and Brian Keith and Richard Jordan, some real good actors and a wonderful Japanese camera man named Kozo Okazaki and spent a lot of time in Japan and I think that's a pretty damn good picture." I saw the Glory of God I saw the Glory I just left a place, and I really don't know how to explain it. I escaped direct gunfire in the front and in the back with AK47 from all sides. I saw smoke around my car. None of us were hurt, how we escaped we didn't know. Thank you Jesus! Over 3 guys shooting at us. We went somewhere, while waiting for the person we heard gun shots. Only for us to see some guys with Ak 47 shoot at us. I started the car, reversed and saw more guys shooting. They were after some persons and thought we were with them. But those ones had ran. So they faced us I can't tell how we were unhurt. We saw smoke everywhere in the car I just kept driving and speaking in tongues. It was after we left and in a safe place that I saw our tire flat. God came through, we escaped, I was driving and I was looking at them shooting at us in the front, in the back, from all sides, I was reversing and they were shooting, all over the car we were feeling the smoke and it didn't hit us Until I left there, I didn't know what happened.
