This is quite funny: at the bottom of the ski slopes in China you have SF Express booths (the most famous courier in China). Why? When they travel to ski here people send their ski equipment separately, and find them back at the bottom of the slopes. And when they're done skiing they send their equipment back home from the bottom of the slopes! One of the advantages of having an ultra-reliable and efficient delivery infrastructure is that you can do stuff like this.

Shared by carson.schmidt10 on #IG. Wasn't sure if I was going to post this or not but this was at Palisades between Kt and Olympic lady on Wednesday feb 18th. For whatever reason we stopped and happen to just see tips of the skis in the whiteout and luckily we did. Just want it to be a reminder to ski safe and ski with a buddy. Doesn't have to be a an avalanche or a tree well to get buried when it's that deep. #skiing #reels #awarness #snow

🐥 GQ&A 🗣️“Which place moved you the most on this trip?” 🐥With Switzerland… it feels like it shouldn’t all fit into one shot. But weirdly, when it does fit, the depth like the perspective..doesn’t really come through, so it feels strange. But in Danang, there were more small, cute, pretty things. I think I saw more beautiful things up close there, and in Switzerland, I saw more beautiful things from far away. 🐥If I were to travel next, I’d want to go to Malta again because it was so much fun, and I think we enjoyed it even more than the people watching I’d be happy if you could watch it feeling like you’re traveling with us.”

An important lesson from this conversation is that if you love what you do, it can unlock an extreme level of intensity and output. Mitchell was a nationally ranked ski racer and says that constant repetition and obsession with improving every run built the competitiveness and work ethic that now defines how he runs Lead Edge. "I'm insanely competitive. I put my like heart and soul into everything I do. I race cars competitively. I was a nationally-ranked ski racer. I probably sleep four hours a night, because I love what I do. I grew up on a ski hill that was 500 feet. Do these things on video in a GS course and constantly analyze video and do these things the next run and change this. And you fell, get up and go do it 10 more times. Lindsey Vonn, one of the best skiers in the world, grew up skiing on 500 feet Buck Hill in Minnesota and doing laps from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at night. Just repetitive. Mikaela Shiffrin is one of the best female skiers in the world. She views her time on snow as limited. When you get off the chairlift, everything is a drill, constantly be trying to improve. I think that's it. There are athletes that have incredible athleticism, but also have incredible work ethic like Michael Jordan. Those are the best of the best. Then you have people like Steve Kerr who were not very good athletically, but had a work ethic like Michael Jordan. They could be good. But then you have wasted talent, which is like the Dennis Rodmans in the world where they were amazing athletes, but they like didn't have a drive. The same can apply to investing."

I’m a Christian visiting Israel, and here is what I’ve learned: Far too many people have confused their empathy for Palestinians with hatred towards Jews. As I walked around these sites that were destroyed on October 7th, places where both Jews and non-Jews were murdered by Hamas, I kept thinking with frustration, “I know what my comment section will look like if I talk about this.” Because, let’s be honest, there is an obvious double standard when it comes to talking about antisemitism and Jewish suffering generally. Since I’ve been here, my comment section has been flooded with hundreds of people telling me that if I travel to Israel as a Christian, if I embrace my Christianity here, that I will be spat on and harassed by the Jewish community in Israel. Well, I’m here to say that that couldn’t be farther from the truth. I’ve been to Israel many times, and I can say that the closest I came to harassment on this trip was when my Jewish host family kept feeding me challah and I almost fell into a carb induced coma. The love I’ve received, from being recognized by a girl in seminary to our hostess becoming my adopted Jewish mother, my time in Israel is consistently marked by the amazing people I interact with here 🤍 Am yisrael chai. Meghan - When in need of deflection and attention stick a photo of the alleged kids on IG. So here we have a video put up by Meghan, in an attempt to use kids for money! Yes let's all forget the fact they both are campaigning to protect children from online harm and yet every other day she posts weird random photos or videos of kids which nobody asks for. Of course she would be scouting the internet noticing how we are stating the boy is never seen but a random video which could be anyone is not cutting it. Of course the msm post it because if Meghan states its the boy and Harry - well it must be true then! There is no one else on this ski slope, no one in the lifts, just an adult and a kid who is almost 7 but looks to be pretty good given he allegedly lives in California, not near constant snow learning to ski. Again these alleged kids are NEVER seen together. The boy previously seemed to have a serious case of Archie Button as he never ages in her photos (my guess she only has access to older footage), but suddenly we see a random boy who's shot up in size at 7 years out of nowhere and can ski pretty well given they allegedly live in California 🤔 Not only that alleged Harry is off skiing in front, the alleged 7 year old boy is way back, has no skis, so what if he had an accident? Honestly this could be anyone as there are no defining features proving its Harry or the boy we are told is Archie, no voices, no-one shouting "well done Archie" Also who's filming...Is it Lili again? My theory is she is no longer allowed to merch the boy as he's Harry's and not hers, hence why she often alludes to him being there but we dont see him with the girll. The only time we have seen a boy and a girl was in the pumpkin patch and that was photo shopped/AI imo. Imo this is a revenge video after everything thats come out! She knows the truth and does veil threats to keep Harry in line (remember the Canada pap walk with the doll whilst Harry was in England?) I don't believe she has access to the boy in any way. She brings the attention straight back to her and the focus being the boy which she knows will anger him and of course she never states the kids names its the media so when it comes all out she can have plausible deniability. 🤔 The one thing we can be absolutely certain - these two have both LIED and LIED and LIED shame on the #msm GB News for colluding in everything they do! #harryandmeghanliars #mrmischief #harrymountbattenwindsor #meghanmarkle #fake

Most people go to the coast when they want peace and quiet. I get it. The ocean has always had that pull. Waves, sand, seafood, morning walks and the feeling that you’ve escaped for a little while. But a lot of coastal towns don’t feel quiet anymore. They feel crowded, expensive and over planned. The type of place where everyone is chasing relaxation at the same time, which makes it harder to actually relax. That’s why I believe more people should look inland. Some of the most peaceful places in America are not on the coast. They’re lakes. Quiet coves. Small towns. Cold morning water. Empty docks. Mountain reflections. Places where the day does not feel like it has to be scheduled. Flathead Lake in Montana has that wide-open stillness you rarely find anymore. Lake Jocassee in South Carolina feels hidden in the foothills, with waterfalls spilling into the water. Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho is deep, quiet and surrounded by mountains. Lake Kabetogama in Minnesota feels like the road ends and the water takes over. Then there are places like Lake Guntersville in Alabama, Lake Ouachita in Arkansas, Lake Champlain between Vermont and New York, and Drummond Island on Lake Huron. Different regions, different landscapes, same basic vibe....space to slow down. That’s the type of travel I keep coming back to. Not always the biggest name or the most obvious destination. Sometimes the better trip is the calmer one. The place that gives you room to breathe. Where you sit longer than planned and realize you didn’t need much more than water, trees, a dock and an unhurried afternoon. I wrote about 24 lakes across the United States that are cheaper, less crowded and far more relaxing than the coast. Some are well known while others are easy to overlook. All of them are worth saving for a future trip. I have seen several DANAs in my life, but this one, due to its intensity and duration (it has not yet ended), is the worst. And it has been and continues to be different. Something has changed. It would have been much worse if it were not for the fact that the city of Valencia is protected by a colossal work that diverts the water from the river outside the city. This diversion of water saved Valencia, but it reached its maximum as it had never reached before. The fundamental containment dam, although it is from the 19th century, also held up. The surrounding cities have been the most affected. And the videos and images of destruction are impressive. Kilometers of destroyed cars is something I had never seen before. There are many victims and many more will appear.😥 And it is human fault. The rivers dried up decades ago. In some areas centuries ago. And we forget that the water flowed down there. And we build houses, housing estates, industrial estates and even cities, without respecting the natural path along which the water flowed, and when a DANA comes, it flows again. Nature does not forget, but we do. DANAs are a fundamental part of our meteorology and our life here. Almost every year there is one somewhere in the region. The silt that the DANAs drag are what then make the fields very fertile in the low areas. I hope that in a few weeks, when everything returns to normal, we will have learned something from this lesson. Note: DANA is the Spanish acronym for "isolated depression at high levels" I found this video in one of my WhatsApp groups. I don't know who the author is. If any knows, please let me know.
